Is there a library for .NET that does parenthesis or expression reduction and optimization?
Something that would take an expression such as (A & (((B) | (C)) | D))) and return
A & (B | C | D)
But also take (A & A) and return A
I'm just getting started with Mac and iPhone development, and naturally my first step is to change the color theme. I've found a theme I like here, but I can't find the folder they reference in my ~/Library/Application Support/ folder. How can I install these files?
Thanks!
I don't know if this is the appropriate place for me to ask this question, since it's more for system maintenance, but I'm having difficult time finding any answers on Google.
but is there any way to reboot and execute VFD, virtual floppy disk, without ghost client??
I tried the tool wsdl2java from axis2, but looks something wrong with the XML Java class binding, so when making the call, a ADBException (adb binding used) will be thrown out.
can someone kindly tell the bet tool/way to generate can-work client code from such style of wsdl file (standard .net style:document literal wrapped)?
Thanks.
I'm using inflector Pluralize and Singularize functions.
I want to know if there is a ready library that know to decide if a word needs to be Pluralize or Singularize based on a number.

I use visual studio 2008 for my development purpose. I also have Visual Source Safe 2005 client installed both at my office computer and my laptop. I like the private source control repository provided by xp-dev.com. But it supports SVN.
Is there any way that I can use VSS 2005 internet plug in to access (Check In/Check Out) from SVN repository?
I need it to have at least such features like Content Aware Fill, Content Aware Image Resizing.
So is there any such lib? Is there any C or C++ opensource library for Content Aware Image editing/transformations?
JFace Databinding doesn't support generics, so it isn't particularly type-safe. And apparently it never will, since they wish to preserve Java 1.3 support.
JGoodies supports generics since 2.0.0. Has anyone ported JGoodies 2 to SWT/JFace? Or is there another library which allows both?
My colleagues and I are looking for alternative client tools for Mac OS X.
I tend to prefer the text-based interface and we have PHPMyAdmin installed on our development servers (Linux).
What are your recommendations?
(One recommendation per answer please, so people can up-mod individual recommendations).
I'm looking for a good, feature-rich, library for reading metadata from various audio formats (MP3, FLAC, OGG, WAV, etc.). I have already looked at Mutagen, but the documentation is nearly nonexistent, and it seems incapable of loading basic information such as artist and audio title.
I've been trying to use SimpleXML, but it doesn't seem to like XML that looks like this:
<xhtml:div>sample <xhtml:em>italic</xhtml:em> text</xhtml:div>
So what library will handle tags that look like that (have a colon in them)?
I wonder what library would ease the development of a cross-platform service/daemon ? (C/C++)
I'm targeting: Windows, Linux and OS X.
Also it would be nice to have a basic sample service application.
Hi guys,

Hi!
I'm about to replace my oldfashioned sessionbased server solutions with RESTful ones.
Where can I find information about design principles concerning security, authentication etc. when moving into this stateless domain?
I need to find solutions that work with different client platforms (Flex/Air, Browser, desktop and mobile apps etc.). Right now I work with php in the server end.
I have a certain config.xml file in one of my projects (Silverlight class library) in a folder in the solution. It's build action is set to content. In that same project I am trying to load the xml file by saying:
XDocument xml = XDocument.Load("/config.xml");
This unfortunately is not working. Upon inspecting the xap file, I see that the xml file is not being copied to it. I am using Visual Studio 2010 RC.
If I have a page that takes some amount of time to process, and suddenly the client closes it's connection (network disconnect, browser closed, etc), what will happened to the processing operation on the server side? Is it get canceled automatically or it continues to process, and then stop right before rendering?
I couldn't find a download-to-print version of the Apache C++ Standard Library User Guide anywhere - the only options available are the frames and no-frames versions online. Writing a script to wget and collate them seems overkill.
Does anyone know if a downloadable PDF or other format exists - and if not, why not?
Does anyone know of a C# spell check library that would underline misspelled works in a windows form text box? In the past, I've used NetSpell and works great if users use the dialog box.
I'm thinking I might be able to automatically call the spell check while text is being updated and underline the text. Anyone have any good ideas on what would be the best way to go about doing it?
I just want to transfer (send or receive) a hash from client to server.
Can you tell me which is a preferable way in Perl or can you suggest any CPAN modules?
Can someone direct me to resources which will guide me through using C# and the Wiimote library. Brian Peek's turorial is far too complex for me. I would ideally like to write a program to get the accelerometer values from the wiimote and print it to the console. I am new to C#.
Silverlight provides only Touch.FrameReported event and doesnt provide any events for the UIElements like it does for mouse events(ex: MouseDown, MouseUp). Is there any touch library available for the silverlight which provides these touch events and supports gestures.
Google did not help me much or may be my search terms are not correct. Any pointers will be appreciated.
