• Android 1.5 Gridview Problem,Pls help me.Thanks

  I used a gridview in this app.The xml file like this: When i run it at Verison 1.6 or newer. it's ok. • Problem adding subviews (UIButtons) to subclass of UIImageView

  I'm adding a custom button/keypad to my application. Thus far, I have a UIImageView subclass that contains an animation that slides it from the bottom of the screen, and then back down when the user no longer needs it. I'm having trouble adding UIButtons to this UIImageView, however. Since this is a subclass of UIView, I'm attempting to add buttons to my view via the initWithFrame: method. (slideDown method is the added animation) in my UIImageView Subclass, I have a UIButton ivar object added: -(id)initWithFrame:(CGRect)frame { if (self = [super initWithFrame: frame]) { UIButton *button = [UIButton buttonWithType: UIButtonTypeRoundedRect]; button.frame = CGRectMake(16.0, 20.0, 50.0, 50.0); [button setTitle: @"Go" forState: UIControlStateNormal]; [button addTarget: self action: @selector(slideDown) forControlEvents: UIControlEventTouchUpInside]; self.button1 = button; [self addSubview: button1]; NSLog(@"Button added"); } return self; } In my view controller, I instantiate my UIIMageView Subclass in the -(void)viewDidLoad: method as follows: -(void)viewDidLoad { //other objects init'ed ButtonPad *customPad = [[ButtonPad alloc] initWithImage: [UIImage imageNamed: @"ButtonPad.png"]]; customPad.frame = CGRectMake(0.0, 480.0, 320.0, 300.0); self.buttonPad = customPad; [self.view addSubview: buttonPad]; [customPad release]; [super viewDidLoad]; } My current app allows the view to slide up and down off of the screen without any problems. Is it appropriate to add buttons or any subview for that matter to the UIView initWithFrame: method or should I be adding these subviews as a subview to my buttonPad in the view Controller file? B.) Since I am creating a custom button/keypad, am i following a valid approach by using a normal UIViewController or should I be using something like a modal view Controller? ( I have little knowledge about these.)

  I've created a local Apache Derby database in Netbeans, but am having problems when I try and autogenerate the POJO files, using the "Hibernate Reverse Engineering Wizard". Caused by: ERROR XSDB6: Another instance of Derby may have already booted the database C:\CerealDatabase.   I am running TeamCity on a virtual machine. I have installed the new Visual Studio 2010 release yesterday and converted my VS 2008 projects. I also have installed .NET Framework 4 on my virtual machine. Before yesterday all my projects were building succesfully on the CI server but since I installed VS 2010 I get the following error message : error MSB5014: File format version is not recognized. MSBuild can only read solution files between versions 7.0 and 9.0, inclusive. I did change my config on Team City to take into account the new .NET 4 framework : Build Runner : MSBuild Build File Path : CFT.msbuild MSBuild version : Microsoft.NET Framework 4.0 MSBuild ToolsVersion : 4.0 Run Platform : x86 I think it has something to do with the fact that now MSBuild must refer to .NET 4 framwork but it seems that it keeps refering to 2.0.

  Hello, this is my first post on stackoverflow...i hope someone can help me i have a big performance regression with Java 6 LinkedBlockingQueue. In the first thread i generate some objects which i push in to the queue In the second thread i pull these objects out. The performance regression occurs when the take() method of the LinkedBlockingQueue is called frequently. I monitored the whole program and the take() method claimed the most time overall. And the throughput goes from ~58Mb/s to 0.9Mb/s... the queue pop and take methods ar called with a static method from this class public class C_myMessageQueue { private static final LinkedBlockingQueue<C_myMessageObject> x_queue = new LinkedBlockingQueue<C_myMessageObject>( 50000 ); /** * @param message * @throws InterruptedException * @throws NullPointerException */ public static void addMyMessage( C_myMessageObject message ) throws InterruptedException, NullPointerException { x_queue.put( message ); } /** * @return Die erste message der MesseageQueue * @throws InterruptedException */ public static C_myMessageObject getMyMessage() throws InterruptedException { return x_queue.take(); } } how can i tune the take() method to accomplish at least 25Mb/s, or is there a other class i can use which will block when the "queue" is full or empty. kind regards Bart P.S.: sorry for my bad english, i'm from germany ;)

If you leave your mouse still on top, and then move a smidgen to the left or right, it triggers again.   I have a base table of Participants and Answers, with the following structure: ParticipantId, BusUnitId, QuestionNum, Answer. In this table, QuestionNum ranges, say, from 1 to 6. I also have two other tables that sort of link QuestionNum to the actual question table, BusUnitQuestions, and ParticipantQuestions. For each QuestionNum, I must get the actual question text, based on QuestionId. BusUnitId, QuestionId ParticipantId, QuestionId Now assuming records with QuestionNum from 1 to 6. BusUnitQuestions has 3 records, so QuestionNum 1 to 3 must join to Question on the QuestionId's from BusUnitQuestions, and QuestionNum 4 to 6 must join to Question on the QuestionId's from ParticipantQuestions. I assume I need to use ROW_NUMBER() in the subquery from BusUnitQuestions to join to my answer table, but I'm lost after that. If anyone at all understands me, do you have any suggestions?

  I am having problems with adding values to dates and also getting differences between dates. The dates and components calculated are incorrect. So for adding, if I add 1.5 months, I only get 1 month, however if I add any whole number ie (1 or 2 or 3 and etc) it calculates correctly.   Hi there, I've made an application that uses .NET framework 3.5 SP1 and SQL Server 2008 Express. Application is fine and now i'm going to to make a setup project for this. When I first build my setup it was fine as all the prerequisites were not included in setup. But I want my setup to install .NET 3.5 SP1 and SQL SERVER 2008 Express also. So for this I've changed the options in setup project's properties from "Download prerequisites from following location" to "Download prerequisites from the same location as my application". In addition to that I've also checked the options above like .NET 3.5 SP1 and SQL Server 2008 Express etc. After doing all this I build my project again. This time I'm Getting 57 Errors. Error 1 The install location for prerequisites has not been set to 'component vendor's web site' and the file 'DotNetFX35SP1\dotNetFX20\aspnet.msp' in item '.NET Framework 3.5 SP1' can not be located on disk. See Help for more information. • EF 4.0 - Many to Many relationship - problem with deletes

  My Entity Model is as follows: Person , Store and PersonStores Many-to-many child table to store PeronId,StoreId When I get a person as in the code below, and try to delete all the StoreLocations, it deletes them from PersonStores as mentioned but also deletes it from the Store Table which is undesirable. Also if I have another person who has the same store Id, then it fails saying "The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint \"FK_PersonStores_StoreLocations\". The conflict occurred in database \"EFMapping2\", table \"dbo.PersonStores\", column 'StoreId'.\r\nThe statement has been terminated" as it was trying to delete the StoreId but that StoreId was used for another PeronId and hence exception thrown.
