  • log in and send sms with java

    - by noobed
    I'm trying to log into a site and afterwards to send a SMS (you can do that for free by the site - it's nothing more than just enter some text into some fields and 'submit'). I've used wireshark to track some of the post/get requests that my machine has been exchanging with the server - when using the browser. I'd like to paste some of my Java code: URL url; String urlP = "maccount=myRawUserName7&" + "mpassword=myRawPassword&" + "redirect_http=http&" + "submit=........"; String urlParameters = URLEncoder.encode(urlP, "CP1251"); HttpURLConnection connection = null; // Create connection url = new URL("http://www.mtel.bg/1/mm/smscenter/mc/sendsms/ma/index/mo/1"); connection = (HttpURLConnection) url.openConnection(); connection.setRequestMethod("POST"); //I'm not really sure if these RequestProperties are necessary //so I'll leave them as a comment // connection.setRequestProperty("Content-Type", // "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"); // connection.setRequestProperty("Accept-Charset", "CP1251"); // connection.setRequestProperty("Content-Length", // "" + Integer.toString(urlParameters.getBytes().length)); // connection.setRequestProperty("Content-Language", "en-US"); connection.setUseCaches(false); connection.setDoInput(true); connection.setDoOutput(true); // Send request DataOutputStream wr = new DataOutputStream( connection.getOutputStream()); wr.writeBytes(urlParameters); wr.flush(); wr.close(); String headerName[] = new String[10]; int count = 0; for (int i = 1; (headerName[count] = connection.getHeaderFieldKey(i)) != null; i++) { if (headerName[count].equals("Set-Cookie")) { headerName[count++] = connection.getHeaderField(i); } } //I'm not sure if I have to close the connection here or not if (connection != null) { connection.disconnect(); } //the code above should be the login part //----------------------------------------- //this is copy-pasted from wireshark's info. String smsParam="from=men&" + "sender=0&" + "msisdn=359886737498&" + "tophone=0&" + "smstext=tova+e+proba%21+1.&" + "id=&" + "sendaction=&" + "direction=&" + "msgLen=84"; url = new URL("http://www.mtel.bg/moyat-profil-sms-tsentar_3004/" + "mm/smscenter/mc/sendsms/ma/index"); connection = (HttpURLConnection) url.openConnection(); connection.setRequestMethod("POST"); connection.setRequestProperty("Cookie", headerName[0]); connection.setRequestProperty("Cookie", headerName[1]); //conn urlParameters = URLEncoder.encode(urlP, "CP1251"); connection.setUseCaches(false); connection.setDoInput(true); connection.setDoOutput(true); wr = new DataOutputStream( connection.getOutputStream()); wr.writeBytes(urlParameters); wr.flush(); wr.close(); //I'm not rly sure what exactly to do with this response. // Get Response InputStream is = connection.getInputStream(); BufferedReader rd = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(is, "CP1251")); String line; StringBuffer response = new StringBuffer(); while ((line = rd.readLine()) != null) { response.append(line); response.append('\r'); } rd.close(); System.out.println(response.toString()); if (connection != null) { connection.disconnect(); } so that's my code so far. When I execute it ... I don't receive any text on my phone - so it clearly doesn't work as supposed to. I would appreciate any guidance or remarks. Is my cookie handling wrong? Is my login method wrong? Do I pass the right URLs. Do I encode and send the parameter string correctly? Is there any addition valuable data from these POSTs I should take? P.S. just in any case let me tell you that the username and password is not real. For security reasons I don't want to give valid ones. (I think this is appropriate approach) Here are the POST requests: POST /1/mm/auth/mc/auth/ma/index/mo/1 HTTP/1.1 Host: www.mtel.bg User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/15.0.1 Accept: text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,*/*;q=0.8 Accept-Language: en-us,en;q=0.5 Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate Connection: keep-alive Referer: http://www.mtel.bg/1/mm/smscenter/mc/sendsms/ma/index/mo/1 Cookie: __utma=209782857.541729286.1349267381.1349270269.1349274374.3; __utmc=209782857; __utmz=209782857.1349267381.1.1.utmcsr=(direct)|utmccn=(direct)|utmcmd=(none); __atuvc=28%7C40; PHPSESSID=q0mage2usmv34slcv3dmd6t057; __utmb=209782857.3.10.1349274374 Content-Type: multipart/form-data; boundary=---------------------------151901450223722 Content-Length: 475 -----------------------------151901450223722 Content-Disposition: form-data; name="maccount" myRawUserName -----------------------------151901450223722 Content-Disposition: form-data; name="mpassword" myRawPassword -----------------------------151901450223722 Content-Disposition: form-data; name="redirect_https" http -----------------------------151901450223722 Content-Disposition: form-data; name="submit" ........ -----------------------------151901450223722-- HTTP/1.1 302 Found Server: nginx Date: Wed, 03 Oct 2012 14:26:40 GMT Content-Type: text/html; charset=Utf-8 Connection: close Expires: Thu, 19 Nov 1981 08:52:00 GMT Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate, post-check=0, pre-check=0 Pragma: no-cache Location: /moyat-profil-sms-tsentar_3004/mm/smscenter/mc/sendsms/ma/index Content-Length: 0 The above text is vied with wireshark's follow tcp stream when pressing the log in button. EventHandler<MyEventArgs> temp = SampleEvent; if (temp != null) temp(this, new MyEventArgs(val)); } I do not understand, "copy to temporary variable", isnt it reference type?

  • How to get the width of a string in pixels?

    - by MA1
    I am using wxPython's HyperTreeList and I want to set the column width exactly equal to length of the largest string in it. To accomplish that, I'd like to to convert a python string size into pixels. For Example: If we have a string like str = "python" len(str) = 6 How could I convert the above string length/size into pixels? Is there another way?

  • Axis2 Web Service Client Generation - Types without modifying the client

    - by sstarcher
    Is it possible with Axis2 and Eclipse to generate a Web Service client and have it use java types that you already have in packages instead of creating it's own types. Reason being of course if I have type A already created and it creates it's own Type A I can't just assign variable of type A to variable of type B. The wsdl is being generated from a Web Service deployed to an application server. If it's not possible to generate it from that would it be possible to generate a client from the already existing java files.

  • How to handle inputs in a C shell program during exec

    - by hits_lucky
    I am currently writing my own shell program. This simple shell can just execute commands. When executing commands like vi or calc which require input from the terminal , the command is getting executed and is waiting for the input from the user. But I am unable to give any input on the screen. How should the input be handled during the fork and exec. Here is the piece of code which is executing commands: if((pid = fork()) < 0) { perror("Fork failed"); exit(errno); } if(pid == 0) { // Child process if(execvp(arguments[0], arguments) == -1) { child_status = errno; switch(child_status) { case ENOENT: printf(" command not found \n"); break; } exit(errno); } } else { // parent process int wait_stat; if(waitpid(pid , &wait_stat, WNOHANG) == -1) { printf(" waitpid failed \n"); return; } } } ~ Thanks,

  • Python - output from functions?

    - by Seafoid
    Hi I have a very rudimentary question. Assume I call a function, e.g., def foo(): x = 'hello world' How do I get the function to return x in such a way that I can use it as the input for another function or use the variable within the body of a program? When I use return and call the variable within another functions I get a NameError. Thanks, S :-)

  • Python: When passing variables between methods, is it necessary to assign it a new name?

    - by Anthony
    I'm thinking that the answer is probably 'no' if the program is small and there are a lot of methods, but what about in a larger program? If I am going to be using one variable in multiple methods throughout the program, is it smarter to: Come up with a different phrasing for each method (to eliminate naming conflicts). Use the same name for each method (to eliminate confusion) Just use a global variable (to eliminate both) This is more of a stylistic question than anything else. What naming convention do YOU use when passing variables?

  • Calling and writing javascript functions

    - by Ankur
    I think I have not got the syntax correct for writing a javascript function and calling it to assign its return value to a variable. My function is: getObjName(objId){ var objName =""; $.ajax( { type : "GET", url : "Object", dataType: 'json', data : "objId="+objId, success : function(data) { objName = data; } }); return objName; } I am trying to call it and assign it to a variable with: var objName = getObjName(objId); However Eclipse is telling me that "there is no such function getObjName() defined"

  • color letters in a div

    - by Growler
    I've created a palindrome checker. I want to take it one step further and show the letters being compared as it is being checked. HTML: <p id="typing"></p> <input type="text" id="textBox" onkeyup="pal(this.value);" value="" /> <div id="response"></div> <hr> <div id="palindromeRun"></div> JS: To do this, I run the recursive check... Then if it is a palindrome, I run colorLetters(), which I'm trying to highlight in green each letter as it is being checked. Right now it is just rewriting palindromeRun's HTML with the first letter. I know this is because of the way I'm resetting its HTML. I don't know how to just grab the first and last letter, change only those letters' css, then increment i and j on the next setTimeout loop. var timeout2 = null; function pal (input) { var str = input.replace(/\s/g, ''); var str2 = str.replace(/\W/, ''); if (checkPal(str2, 0, str2.length-1)) { $("#textBox").css({"color" : "green"}); $("#response").html(input + " is a palindrome"); $("#palindromeRun").html(input); colorLetters(str2, 0, str2.length-1); } else { $("#textBox").css({"color" : "red"}); $("#response").html(input + " is not a palindrome"); } if (input.length <= 0) { $("#response").html(""); $("#textBox").css({"color" : "black"}); } } function checkPal (input, i, j) { if (input.length <= 1) { return false; } if (i === j || ((j-i) == 1 && input.charAt(i) === input.charAt(j))) { return true; } else { if (input.charAt(i).toLowerCase() === input.charAt(j).toLowerCase()) { return checkPal(input, ++i, --j); } else { return false; } } } function colorLetters(myinput, i, j) { if (timeout2 == null) { timeout2 = setTimeout(function () { console.log("called"); var firstLetter = $("#palindromeRun").html(myinput.charAt(i)) var secondLetter = $("#palindromeRun").html(myinput.charAt(j)) $(firstLetter).css({"color" : "red"}); $(secondLetter).css({"color" : "green"}); i++; j++; timeout2=null; }, 1000); } } Secondary: If possible, I'd just like to have it colors the letters as the user is typing... I realize this will require a setTimeout on each keyup, but also am not sure how to write this.

  • ProgressBar isn't updating

    - by Nuru Salihu
    I have a progressbar that that is show progress returned by the backgroundworker do_dowork event like below . if (ftpSourceFilePath.Scheme == Uri.UriSchemeFtp) { FtpWebRequest objRequest = (FtpWebRequest)FtpWebRequest.Create(ftpSourceFilePath); NetworkCredential objCredential = new NetworkCredential(userName, password); objRequest.Credentials = objCredential; objRequest.Method = WebRequestMethods.Ftp.DownloadFile; FtpWebResponse objResponse = (FtpWebResponse)objRequest.GetResponse(); StreamReader objReader = new StreamReader(objResponse.GetResponseStream()); int len = 0; int iProgressPercentage = 0; FileStream objFS = new FileStream((cd+"\\VolareUpdate.rar"), FileMode.Create, FileAccess.Write, FileShare.Read); while ((len = objReader.BaseStream.Read(buffer, 0, buffer.Length)) > 0) { objFS.Write(buffer, 0, len); iRunningByteTotal += len; double dIndex = (double)(iRunningByteTotal); double dTotal = (double)buffer.Length; double dProgressPercentage = (dIndex / dTotal); iProgressPercentage = (int)(dProgressPercentage); if (iProgressPercentage > 100) { iProgressPercentage = 100; } bw.ReportProgress(iProgressPercentage); } } However, my progressbar does not update. While searching , i was told the UI thread is being blocked and then i thought may be passing the progress outside the loop will do the trick. then i change to this if (ftpSourceFilePath.Scheme == Uri.UriSchemeFtp) { FtpWebRequest objRequest = (FtpWebRequest)FtpWebRequest.Create(ftpSourceFilePath); NetworkCredential objCredential = new NetworkCredential(userName, password); objRequest.Credentials = objCredential; objRequest.Method = WebRequestMethods.Ftp.DownloadFile; FtpWebResponse objResponse = (FtpWebResponse)objRequest.GetResponse(); StreamReader objReader = new StreamReader(objResponse.GetResponseStream()); int len = 0; int iProgressPercentage = 0; FileStream objFS = new FileStream((cd+"\\VolareUpdate.rar"), FileMode.Create, FileAccess.Write, FileShare.Read); while ((len = objReader.BaseStream.Read(buffer, 0, buffer.Length)) > 0) { objFS.Write(buffer, 0, len); iRunningByteTotal += len; double dIndex = (double)(iRunningByteTotal); double dTotal = (double)buffer.Length; double dProgressPercentage = (dIndex / dTotal); iProgressPercentage = (int)(dProgressPercentage); if (iProgressPercentage > 100) { iProgressPercentage = 100; } // System.Threading.Thread.Sleep(2000); iProgressPercentage++; // SetText("F", true); } bw.ReportProgress(iProgressPercentage); progressBar.Refresh(); } However still didn't help. When i put break point in my workerprogresschanged event, it show the progressbar.value however does not update. I tried progressbar.update(0, i also tried sleeping the thread for a while in the loop still didn't help. Please any suggestion/help would be appreciated .

  • Local and global variables in javascript

    - by caramel1991
    Today,I started to code a page that prompt the user to choose their PC spec,and the code is as follow <html> <title>Computer Specification Chooser</title> <head> <script type="text/javascript"> var compSpec = document.compChooser; function processorUnavailable_onclick() { alert("Sorry that processor speed is currently unavailable"); compSpec.processor[2].checked = true; } </script> </head> <body> <form name="compChooser"> <p>Tick all components you wan included on your computer</p> <p> DVD-ROM <input type="checkbox" name="chkDVD" value="DVD-ROM" /> <br /> CD-ROM <input type="checkbox" name="chkCD" value="CD-ROM" /> <br /> Zip Drive <input type="checkbox" name="chkZIP" value="ZIP DRIVE" /> </p> <p> Select the processor speed you require <br /> <input type="radio" name="processor" value="3.8" /> 3.8 GHZ <input type="radio" name="processor" value="4.8" onclick="processorUnavailable_onclick()" /> 4.8 GHZ <input type="radio" name="processor" value="6" /> 6 GHZ </p> <input type="button" name="btnCheck" value="Check Form" /> </form> </body> </html> The problem I'm facing is on the function that I've tie to the event handler,when I try to choose the radio button of the processor value 4.8 GHZ,yes it alert me with the message inside the function,but after that,it doest not execute the next statement inside the function,that is to check the next processor value 6 GHZ. I've try my effort to change it and test on it,and find out when I set the var compSpec = document.compChooser as a local variable inside the function instead of a global variable,the next statement could be executed. But I thought for a global variable,it is accessible in everywhere on the page and also inside a function.But why now I can't accesses it inside my function??Any idea?? Besides,I stumble upon a weird article while googling,it says that when a global variable is created,it is added to window object.I just curious why this happen??And what's the benefits and uses of it?? THANK YOU

  • How to test if a string has a certain unicode char?

    - by Ruben Trancoso
    Supose you have a command line executable that receives arguments. This executalbe is widechar ready and you want to test if one of this arguments starts with an HYPHEN case in which its an option: command -o foo how you could test it inside your code if you don't know the charset been used by the host? Should be not possible to a given console to produce the same HYPHEN representation by another char in the widechar forest? (in such case it would be a wild char :P) int _tmain(int argc, _TCHAR* argv[]) { std::wstring inputFile(argv[1]); if(inputFile->c_str() <is an HYPHEN>) { _tprintf(_T("First argument cannot be an option")); } }

  • C# coding standards for private member variables [closed]

    - by Sasha
    I saw two common approaches for coding standards for private member variables: class Foo { private int _i; private string _id; } and class Foo { private int m_i; private string m_id; } I believe the latter is coming from C++. Also, many people specify type before the member variable: double m_dVal -- to indicate that is is a nonconstant member variable of the type double? What are the conventions in C#?
