  • C# ASP.NET FILE TRANSFER FROM LOCAL MACHINE TO ANOTHER MACHINE

    - by Imcl
I basically want to transfer a file from the client to the file storage server without actual login to the server so that the client cannot access the storage location on the server directly. I can do this only if i manually login to the storage server through windows login. I dont want to do that. This is a Web-Based Application. Using the link below, I wrote a code for my application. I am not able to get it right though, Please refer the link and help me ot with it... http://stackoverflow.com/questions/263518/c-uploading-files-to-file-server The following is my code:- protected void Button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { filePath = FileUpload1.FileName; try { WebClient client = new WebClient(); NetworkCredential nc = new NetworkCredential(uName, password); Uri addy = new Uri("\\\\192.168.1.3\\upload\\"); client.Credentials = nc; byte[] arrReturn = client.UploadFile(addy, filePath); Console.WriteLine(arrReturn.ToString()); } catch (Exception ex) { Console.WriteLine(ex.Message); } } The following line doesn't execute... byte[] arrReturn = client.UploadFile(addy, filePath); THIS IS THE ERROR I GET :- "An exception occurred during a WebClient request"

  • How to render a DateTime in a specific format in ASP.NET MVC 3?

    - by Slauma
If I have in my model class a property of type DateTime how can I render it in a specific format - for example in the format which ToLongDateString() returns? I have tried this... @Html.DisplayFor(modelItem => item.MyDateTime.ToLongDateString()) ...which throws an exception because the expression must point to a property or field. And this... @{var val = item.MyDateTime.ToLongDateString(); Html.DisplayFor(modelItem => val); } ...which doesn't throw an exception, but the rendered output is empty (although val contains the expected value, as I could see in the debugger). Thanks for tips in advance! Edit ToLongDateString is only an example. What I actually want to use instead of ToLongDateString is a custom extension method of DateTime and DateTime?: public static string FormatDateTimeHideMidNight(this DateTime dateTime) { if (dateTime.TimeOfDay == TimeSpan.Zero) return dateTime.ToString("d"); else return dateTime.ToString("g"); } public static string FormatDateTimeHideMidNight(this DateTime? dateTime) { if (dateTime.HasValue) return dateTime.Value.FormatDateTimeHideMidNight(); else return ""; } So, I think I cannot use the DisplayFormat attribute and DataFormatString parameter on the ViewModel properties.

  • javax.naming.NameAlreadyBoundException: in glassfish server v2

    - by Nila
Hi! I'm implementing stateless session bean ejb3 in glassfish server using netbeans. First time, it is working properly. Later, I'm getting the exception as follows: LDR5012: Jndi name conflict found in [SampleEjb3]. Jndi name [Lulu.HellostatelessRemote] for bean [HellostatelessBean] is already in use. LDR5013: Naming exception while creating EJB container: javax.naming.NameAlreadyBoundException: Use rebind to override at com.sun.enterprise.naming.TransientContext.doBindOrRebind(TransientContext.java:292) at com.sun.enterprise.naming.TransientContext.bind(TransientContext.java:232) at com.sun.enterprise.naming.SerialContextProviderImpl.bind(SerialContextProviderImpl.java:111) at com.sun.enterprise.naming.LocalSerialContextProviderImpl.bind(LocalSerialContextProviderImpl.java:90) at com.sun.enterprise.naming.SerialContext.bind(SerialContext.java:461) at com.sun.enterprise.naming.SerialContext.bind(SerialContext.java:476) at javax.naming.InitialContext.bind(InitialContext.java:404) at com.sun.enterprise.naming.NamingManagerImpl.publishObject(NamingManagerImpl.java:237) at com.sun.enterprise.naming.NamingManagerImpl.publishObject(NamingManagerImpl.java:190) at com.sun.ejb.containers.BaseContainer.initializeHome(BaseContainer.java:1015) at com.sun.ejb.containers.StatelessSessionContainer.initializeHome(StatelessSessionContainer.java:232) at com.sun.ejb.containers.ContainerFactoryImpl.createContainer(ContainerFactoryImpl.java:654) at com.sun.enterprise.server.AbstractLoader.loadEjbs(AbstractLoader.java:536) at com.sun.enterprise.server.ApplicationLoader.doLoad(ApplicationLoader.java:188) at com.sun.enterprise.server.TomcatApplicationLoader.doLoad(TomcatApplicationLoader.java:126) at com.sun.enterprise.server.AbstractLoader.load(AbstractLoader.java:244) at com.sun.enterprise.server.AbstractManager.load(AbstractManager.java:225) at com.sun.enterprise.server.ApplicationLifecycle.onStartup(ApplicationLifecycle.java:217) at com.sun.enterprise.server.ApplicationServer.onStartup(ApplicationServer.java:442) at com.sun.enterprise.server.ondemand.OnDemandServer.onStartup(OnDemandServer.java:120) at com.sun.enterprise.server.PEMain.run(PEMain.java:411) at com.sun.enterprise.server.PEMain.main(PEMain.java:338) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke0(Native Method) at sun.reflect.NativeMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(NativeMethodAccessorImpl.java:39) at sun.reflect.DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.invoke(DelegatingMethodAccessorImpl.java:25) at java.lang.reflect.Method.invoke(Method.java:597) at com.sun.enterprise.server.PELaunch.main(PELaunch.java:412) Then, I'll remove the ejb module from the glassfish server and I'll restart the server. • How to Write to a User.Config file through ConfigurationManager?

    - by Josh G
I'm trying to persist user settings to a configuration file using ConfigurationManager. I want to scope these settings to the user only, because application changes can't be saved on Vista/Win 7 without admin privileges. This seems to get me the user's configuration, which appears to be saved here in Win 7 ([Drive]:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\[ApplicationName]\[AssemblyName][hash]\[Version\) Configuration config = ConfigurationManager.OpenExeConfiguration(ConfigurationUserLevel.PerUserRoamingAndLocal); Whenever I try to save any changes at all to this config I get this exception: InnerException: System.InvalidOperationException Message="ConfigurationSection properties cannot be edited when locked." Source="System.Configuration" StackTrace: at System.Configuration.SectionInformation.VerifyIsEditable() at System.Configuration.MgmtConfigurationRecord.GetConfigDefinitionUpdates(Boolean requireUpdates, ConfigurationSaveMode saveMode, Boolean forceSaveAll, ConfigDefinitionUpdates& definitionUpdates, ArrayList& configSourceUpdates) I have tried adding a custom ConfigurationSection to this config. I have tried adding to the AppSettingsSection. Whenever I call config.Save() it throws the exception above. Any ideas? I tried using the ApplicationSettingsBase class through the Project-Settings designer, but it doesn't appear that you can save custom types with this. I want similar functionality with the ability to save custom types. Thanks.

  • HttpWebRequest Timeouts After Ten Consecutive Requests

    - by Bob Mc
I'm writing a web crawler for a specific site. The application is a VB.Net Windows Forms application that is not using multiple threads - each web request is consecutive. However, after ten successful page retrievals every successive request times out. I have reviewed the similar questions already posted here on SO, and have implemented the recommended techniques into my GetPage routine, shown below: Public Function GetPage(ByVal url As String) As String Dim result As String = String.Empty Dim uri As New Uri(url) Dim sp As ServicePoint = ServicePointManager.FindServicePoint(uri) sp.ConnectionLimit = 100 Dim request As HttpWebRequest = WebRequest.Create(uri) request.KeepAlive = False request.Timeout = 15000 Try Using response As HttpWebResponse = DirectCast(request.GetResponse, HttpWebResponse) Using dataStream As Stream = response.GetResponseStream() Using reader As New StreamReader(dataStream) If response.StatusCode <> HttpStatusCode.OK Then Throw New Exception("Got response status code: " + response.StatusCode) End If result = reader.ReadToEnd() End Using End Using response.Close() End Using Catch ex As Exception Dim msg As String = "Error reading page """ & url & """. " & ex.Message Logger.LogMessage(msg, LogOutputLevel.Diagnostics) End Try Return result End Function Have I missed something? Am I not closing or disposing of an object that should be? It seems strange that it always happens after ten consecutive requests. Notes: In the constructor for the class in which this method resides I have the following: ServicePointManager.DefaultConnectionLimit = 100 If I set KeepAlive to true, the timeouts begin after five requests. All the requests are for pages in the same domain. EDIT I added a delay between each web request of between two and seven seconds so that I do not appear to be "hammering" the site or attempting a DOS attack. However, the problem still occurs.

  • Uncatchable AccesViolationException

    - by Roy
Hi all, I'm getting close to desperate.. I am developing a field service application for Windows Mobile 6.1 using C# and quite some p/Invoking. (I think I'm referencing about 50 native functions) On normal circumstances this goes without any problem, but when i start stressing the GC i'm getting a nasty 0xC0000005 error witch seems uncatchable. In my test i'm rapidly closing and opening a dialog form (the form did make use of native functions, but for testing i commented these out) and after a while the Windows Mobile error reporter comes around to tell me that there was an fatal error in my application. My code uses a try-catch around the Application.Run(masterForm); and hooks into the CurrentDomain.UnhandledException event, but the application still crashes. Even when i attach the debugger, visual studio just tells me "The remote connection to the device has been lost" when the exception occurs.. Since I didn't succeed to catch the exception in the managed environment, I tried to make sense out of the Error Reporter log file. But this doesn't make any sense, the only consistent this about the error is the application where it occurs in. The thread where the application occurs in is unknown to me, the module where the error occurs differs from time to time (I've seen my application.exe, WS2.dll, netcfagl3_5.dll and mscoree3_5.dll), even the error code is not always the same. (most of the time it's 0xC0000005, but i've also seen an 0X80000002 error, which is a warning accounting the first byte?) I tried debugging through bugtrap, but strangely enough this crashes with the same error code (0xC0000005). I tried to open the kdmp file with visual studio, but i can't seem to make any sense out of this because it only shows me disassembler code when i step into the error (unless i have the right .pbb files, which i don't). Same goes for WinDbg. To make a long story short: I frankly don't have a single clue where to look for this error, and I'm hoping some bright soul on stackoverflow does. I'm happy to provide some code but at this moment I don't know which piece to provide.. Any help is greatly appreciated!

  • How do I Unit Test Actions without Mocking that use UpdateModel?

    - by Hellfire
I have been working my way through Scott Guthrie's excellent post on ASP.NET MVC Beta 1. In it he shows the improvements made to the UpdateModel method and how they improve unit testing. I have recreated a similar project however anytime I run a UnitTest that contains a call to UpdateModel I receive an ArgumentNullException naming the controllerContext parameter. Here's the relevant bits, starting with my model: public class Country { public Int32 ID { get; set; } public String Name { get; set; } public String Iso3166 { get; set; } } The controller action: [AcceptVerbs(HttpVerbs.Post)] public ActionResult Edit(Int32 id, FormCollection form) { using ( ModelBindingDataContext db = new ModelBindingDataContext() ) { Country country = db.Countries.Where(c => c.CountryID == id).SingleOrDefault(); try { UpdateModel(country, form); db.SubmitChanges(); return RedirectToAction("Index"); } catch { return View(country); } } } And finally my unit test that's failing: [TestMethod] public void Edit() { CountryController controller = new CountryController(); FormCollection form = new FormCollection(); form.Add("Name", "Canada"); form.Add("Iso3166", "CA"); var result = controller.Edit(2 /*Canada*/, form) as RedirectToRouteResult; Assert.IsNotNull(result, "Expected to be redirected on successful POST."); Assert.AreEqual("Show", result.RouteName, "Expected to redirect to the View action."); } ArgumentNullException is thrown by the call to UpdateModel with the message "Value cannot be null. Parameter name: controllerContext". I'm assuming that somewhere the UpdateModel requires the System.Web.Mvc.ControllerContext which isn't present during execution of the test. I'm also assuming that I'm doing something wrong somewhere and just need to pointed in the right direction. Help Please!

  • How to form submit and show a different page in ASP.Net MVC?

    - by melaos
hi guys i'm new to asp.net mvc.. so basically i just build up a two page app which takes the registration information of the user and post it to the database. i use a lot of jquery and ajax calls to retrieve data from the database using linq to sql stored proc object. and currently i'm stuck at one page where after the user submits the form it should redirect him to /Home/AddProduct. What i found was the error: Validation of viewstate MAC failed. If this application is hosted by a Web Farm or cluster, ensure that <machineKey> configuration specifies the same validationKey and validation algorithm. AutoGenerate cannot be used in a cluster. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.Web.HttpException: Validation of viewstate MAC failed. If this application is hosted by a Web Farm or cluster, ensure that <machineKey> configuration specifies the same validationKey and validation algorithm. AutoGenerate cannot be used in a cluster. what used on my form are basically a combination of html controls, asp.net controls and some asp.net mvc type controls. i submit the form using action="/Home/ProductAdded" and after doing some googling i found i was supposed to add in the machine key but after doing so, the index page becomes unviewable. because it couldn't find the index file now. removing the action helps, but now it just doesn't go anywhere. so what am i missing here? i feel i'm missing a lot of fundamentals understanding about asp.net mvc and i don't even know how to submit a form and go to a different page here!!

  • VS 2008 does not understand .resource files

    - by Dmitry
I'm trying to add globalization support to my C# application. According to MSDN, there should be one embedded resource file for neutral culture and satellite DLLs with resource files for other cultures. I've created 2 satellite DLLs without any problems and got my app to automatically load right one using ResourceManager. But I can't embed default neutral culture resource file into my executable. When I remove all satellite DLLs or set culture to some culture I don't have satellite DLL for, I get exception "Could not find any resources appropriate for the specified culture or the neutral culture." when application attempts to create ResourceManager. It looks like VS 2008 does not include my .resource file into main assembly. I've tried different ways to get resource file embedded: compiling it by resgen.exe from text file and adding it to the project; changing its name to add second .resources extension; creating .resx file with same name; etc. And I still don't see the way to get resource file embedded and used by ResourceManager - I'm having same exception. What is the right way to add default neutral culture resource file to application in VS 2008 ?

  • iPhone accelerometer:didAccelerate: seems to not get called while I am running a loop

    - by AJ
An accelerometer related question. (Sorry the formatting may not look right, its the first time I am using this site). I got the accelerometer working as expected using the standard code UIAccelerometer *accel = [UIAccelerometer sharedAccelerometer]; accel.delegate = self; accel.updateInterval = 0.1; //I also tried other update values I use NSLog to log every time the accelerometer:didAccelerate: method in my class is called. The function gets called as expected and everything works fine till here. However, when I run a loop, the above method doesn't seem to get called. Something like this float firstAccelValue = globalAccel; //this is the x-accel value (stored in a global by the above method) float nextAccelValue = firstAccelValue; while (nextAccelValue == firstAccelValue){ //do something nextAccelValue = globalAccel; // note globalAccel is updated by the accelerometer method } The above loop never exits, expectedly since the accelerometer:didAccelerate: method is not getting called, and hence globalAccel never changes value. If I use a fixed condition to break the while loop, I can see that after the loop ends, the method calls work fine again. Am I missing something obvious here? Or does the accelerometer method not fire when certain processing is being done? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

  • StorageClientException: The specified message does not exist?

    - by Aaron
    I have a simple video encoding worker role that pulls messages from a queue encodes a video then uploads the video to storage. Everything seems to be working but occasionally when deleting the message after I am done encoding and uploading I get a "StorageClientException: The specified message does not exist." Although the video is processed, I believe the message is reappearing in the queue because it's not being deleted correctly. Is it possible that another instance of the Worker role is processing and deleting the message? Doesn't the GetMessage() prevent other worker roles from picking up the same message? Am I doing something wrong in the setup of my queue? What could be causing this message to not be found on delete? some code... //onStart() queue setup var queueStorage = _storageAccount.CreateCloudQueueClient(); _queue = queueStorage.GetQueueReference(QueueReference); queueStorage.RetryPolicy = RetryPolicies.Retry(5, new TimeSpan(0, 5, 0)); _queue.CreateIfNotExist(); public override void Run() { while (true) { try { var msg = _queue.GetMessage(new TimeSpan(0, 5, 0)); if (msg != null) { EncodeIt(msg); PostIt(msg); _queue.DeleteMessage(msg); } else { Thread.Sleep(WaitTime); } } catch (StorageClientException exception) { BlobTrace.Write(exception.ToString()); Thread.Sleep(WaitTime); } } }

  • "Ambigous type variable" error when defining custom "read" function

    - by Tener
While trying to compile the following code, which is enhanced version of read build on readMay from Safe package. readI :: (Typeable a, Read a) => String -> a readI str = case readMay str of Just x -> x Nothing -> error ("Prelude.read failed, expected type: " ++ (show (typeOf > (undefined :: a))) ++ "String was: " ++ str) I get an error from GHC: WavefrontSimple.hs:54:81: Ambiguous type variable `a' in the constraint: `Typeable a' arising from a use of `typeOf' at src/WavefrontSimple.hs:54:81-103 Probable fix: add a type signature that fixes these type variable(s)` I don't understand why. What should be fixed to get what I meant? EDIT: Ok, so the solution to use ScopedTypeVariables and forall a in type signature works. But why the following produces very similar error to the one above? The compiler should infer the right type since there is asTypeOf :: a -> a -> a used. readI :: (Typeable a, Read a) => String -> a readI str = let xx = undefined in case readMay str of Just x -> x `asTypeOf` xx Nothing -> error ("Prelude.read failed, expected type: " ++ (show (typeOf xx)) ++ "String was: " ++ str)

  • WPF Designer has bug with parsing generic control with overrided property

    - by Ivan Laktyunkin
I've created a generic lookless control with virtual property: public abstract class TestControlBase<TValue> : Control { public static readonly DependencyProperty ValueProperty; static TestControlBase() { ValueProperty = DependencyProperty.Register("Value", typeof(TValue), typeof(TestControlBase<TValue>)); } protected TestControlBase() { Focusable = false; Value = default(TValue); } public virtual TValue Value { get { return (TValue)GetValue(ValueProperty); } set { SetValue(ValueProperty, value); } } } Then I've made a control derived from it and overrided Value property: public class TestControl : TestControlBase<int> { public override int Value { get { return base.Value; } set { base.Value = value; } } } So I use it in a Window XAML: <TestControls:TestControl /> When I open window in designer all is OK, but when I put mouse cursor to this line, or to this control in designer I receive exception: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. at System.RuntimeMethodHandle._InvokeMethodFast(Object target, Object[] arguments, SignatureStruct& sig, MethodAttributes methodAttributes, RuntimeTypeHandle typeOwner) at System.RuntimeMethodHandle.InvokeMethodFast(Object target, Object[] arguments, Signature sig, MethodAttributes methodAttributes, RuntimeTypeHandle typeOwner) at System.Reflection.RuntimeMethodInfo.Invoke(Object obj, BindingFlags invokeAttr, Binder binder, Object[] parameters, CultureInfo culture, Boolean skipVisibilityChecks) at System.Delegate.DynamicInvokeImpl(Object[] args) at System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.InternalRealCall(Delegate callback, Object args, Boolean isSingleParameter) at System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.TryCatchWhen(Object source, Delegate callback, Object args, Boolean isSingleParameter, Delegate catchHandler) Ambiguous match found. at System.RuntimeType.GetPropertyImpl(String name, BindingFlags bindingAttr, Binder binder, Type returnType, Type[] types, ParameterModifier[] modifiers) at System.Type.GetProperty(String name) at MS.Internal.ComponentModel.DependencyPropertyKind.get_IsDirect() at MS.Internal.ComponentModel.DependencyPropertyKind.get_IsAttached() at MS.Internal.ComponentModel.APCustomTypeDescriptor.GetProperties(Attribute[] attributes) at MS.Internal.ComponentModel.APCustomTypeDescriptor.GetProperties() at System.ComponentModel.TypeDescriptor.TypeDescriptionNode.DefaultExtendedTypeDescriptor.System.ComponentModel.ICustomTypeDescriptor.GetProperties() at System.ComponentModel.TypeDescriptor.GetPropertiesImpl(Object component, Attribute[] attributes, Boolean noCustomTypeDesc, Boolean noAttributes) at System.ComponentModel.TypeDescriptor.GetProperties(Object component) at MS.Internal.Model.ModelPropertyCollectionImpl.GetProperties(String propertyNameHint) at MS.Internal.Model.ModelPropertyCollectionImpl.<GetEnumerator>d__0.MoveNext() at MS.Internal.Designer.PropertyEditing.Model.ModelPropertyMerger.<GetFirstProperties>d__0.MoveNext() at MS.Internal.Designer.PropertyEditing.PropertyInspector.UpdateCategories(Selection selection) at MS.Internal.Designer.PropertyEditing.PropertyInspector.OnSelectionChangedIdle() Who know this problem? • Registry access error when Migrating ASP.NET application to IIS7

    - by fande455
I'm running windows 7 64-bit and iis7. I'm trying to setup a web application that was previously in iis6 on XP. It's giving me the error below. I've added the network service user to the Performance Monitor Users group to no avail. Access to the registry key 'Global' is denied. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the registry key 'Global' is denied. ASP.NET is not authorized to access the requested resource. Consider granting access rights to the resource to the ASP.NET request identity. ASP.NET has a base process identity (typically {MACHINE}\ASPNET on IIS 5 or Network Service on IIS 6) that is used if the application is not impersonating. If the application is impersonating via , the identity will be the anonymous user (typically IUSR_MACHINENAME) or the authenticated request user. To grant ASP.NET access to a file, right-click the file in Explorer, choose "Properties" and select the Security tab. Click "Add" to add the appropriate user or group. Highlight the ASP.NET account, and check the boxes for the desired access.

In order to avoid annoying dialogues I wanted to load JOAL with the JNLPAppletLauncher as it is shown on https://jogl-demos.dev.java.net/applettest-joal.html Unfortunately with this approach I get this exception: JNLPAppletLauncher.loadLibrary("joal_native") loading: C:\Users\Barbara\AppData\Local\Temp\jnlp-applet\jln7379734545861869319\jln1640167325490042232\joal_native.dll Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-2" java.lang.RuntimeException: Can not get proc address for method "alcCaptureCloseDevice": Couldn't set value of field "_addressof_alcCaptureCloseDevice" in class net.java.games.joal.impl.ALCProcAddressTable at com.sun.gluegen.runtime.ProcAddressHelper.resetProcAddressTable(ProcAddressHelper.java:113) at net.java.games.joal.impl.ALProcAddressLookup.resetALCProcAddressTable(ALProcAddressLookup.java:109) at net.java.games.joal.impl.ALCImpl.alcOpenDevice(ALCImpl.java:341) at net.java.games.joal.util.ALut.alutInit(ALut.java:69) at demos.devmaster.lesson1.SingleStaticSource.initialize(SingleStaticSource.java:194) at demos.devmaster.lesson1.SingleStaticSource.access$000(SingleStaticSource.java:57) at demos.devmaster.lesson1.SingleStaticSource$1.actionPerformed(SingleStaticSource.java:79) at javax.swing.AbstractButton.fireActionPerformed(Unknown Source) at javax.swing.AbstractButton$Handler.actionPerformed(Unknown Source) at javax.swing.DefaultButtonModel.fireActionPerformed(Unknown Source) at javax.swing.DefaultButtonModel.setPressed(Unknown Source) at javax.swing.plaf.basic.BasicButtonListener.mouseReleased(Unknown Source) at java.awt.Component.processMouseEvent(Unknown Source) at javax.swing.JComponent.processMouseEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.Component.processEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.Container.processEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.Component.dispatchEventImpl(Unknown Source) at java.awt.Container.dispatchEventImpl(Unknown Source) at java.awt.Component.dispatchEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.LightweightDispatcher.retargetMouseEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.LightweightDispatcher.processMouseEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.LightweightDispatcher.dispatchEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.Container.dispatchEventImpl(Unknown Source) at java.awt.Component.dispatchEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventQueue.dispatchEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpOneEventForFilters(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEventsForFilter(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEventsForHierarchy(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEvents(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEvents(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.run(Unknown Source) Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to find and load OpenAL library at net.java.games.joal.impl.ALProcAddressLookup$DynamicLookup.dynamicLookupFunction(ALProcAddressLookup.java:66) at com.sun.gluegen.runtime.ProcAddressHelper.resetProcAddressTable(ProcAddressHelper.java:106) ... 30 more I am using Firefox 3.6.3, Java 1.6._017 and am on a Windows 7 Machine. I also tried this on another computer with Windows XP and on one with Linux, always with the same result, so it does not seem to be specific for my computer. I also get the same result for IE8. Any ideas how I could fix this? Thank you very much.

  • Selenium RC: how to capture/handle error?

    - by KenBurnsFan1
Hi, My test uses Selenium to loop through a CSV list of URLs via an HTTP proxy (working script below). As I watch the script run I can see about 10% of the calls produce "Proxy error: 502" ("Bad_Gateway"); however, the errors are not captured by my catch-all "except Exception" clause -- ie: instead of writing 'error' in the appropriate row of the "output.csv", they get passed to the else clause and produce a short piece of html that starts: "Proxy error: 502 Read from server failed: Unknown error." Also, if I collect all the URLs which returned 502s and re-run the script, they all pass, which leads me to believe that this is a sporadic network path issue. Question: Can the script be made to recognize the the 502 errors, sleep a minute, and then retry the URL instead of moving on to the next URL in the list? The only alternative that I can think of is to apply re.search("Proxy error: 502") after "get_html_source" as a way to catch the bad calls. Then, if the RE matches, put the script to sleep for a minute and then retry 'sel.open(row[0]' on the URL which produced the 502. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks! #python 2.6 from selenium import selenium import unittest, time, re, csv, logging class Untitled(unittest.TestCase): def setUp(self): self.verificationErrors = [] self.selenium = selenium("localhost", 4444, "*firefox", "http://baseDomain.com") self.selenium.start() self.selenium.set_timeout("60000") def test_untitled(self): sel = self.selenium spamReader = csv.reader(open('ListOfSubDomains.csv', 'rb')) for row in spamReader: try: sel.open(row[0]) except Exception: ofile = open('output.csv', 'ab') ofile.write("error" + '\n') ofile.close() else: time.sleep(5) html = sel.get_html_source() ofile = open('output.csv', 'ab') ofile.write(html.encode('utf-8') + '\n') ofile.close() def tearDown(self): self.selenium.stop() self.assertEqual([], self.verificationErrors) if __name__ == "__main__": unittest.main()

  • Copy folders when copying list items from source to destination

Hi, This is my code to copy files in a list from source to destination. Using the code below I am only able to copy files but not folders. Any ideas on how can I copy the folders and the files within those folders? using (SPSite objSite = new SPSite(URL)) { using (SPWeb objWeb = objSite.OpenWeb()) { SPList objSourceList = null; SPList objDestinationList = null; try { objSourceList = objWeb.Lists["Source"]; } catch(Exception ex) { Console.WriteLine("Error opening source list"); Console.WriteLine(ex.Message); } try { objDestinationList = objWeb.Lists["Destination"]; } catch (Exception ex) { Console.WriteLine("Error opening destination list"); Console.WriteLine(ex.Message); } string ItemURL = string.Empty; if (objSourceList != null && objDestinationList != null) { foreach (SPListItem objSourceItem in objSourceList.Items) { ItemURL = string.Format(@"{0}/Destination/{1}", objDestinationList.ParentWeb.Url, objSourceItem.Name); objSourceItem.CopyTo(ItemURL); objSourceItem.UnlinkFromCopySource(); } } } } Thanks

  • Data Binding to an object in C#

    - by Allen
Objective-c/cocoa offers a form of binding where a control's properties (ie text in a textbox) can be bound to the property of an object. I am trying to duplicate this functionality in C# w/ .Net 3.5. I have created the following very simple class in the file MyClass.cs: class MyClass { private string myName; public string MyName { get { return myName; } set { myName = value; } } public MyClass() { myName = "Allen"; } } I also created a simple form with 1 textbox and 1 button. I init'd one instance of Myclass inside the form code and built the project. Using the DataSource Wizard in Vs2008, i selected to create a data source based on object, and selected the MyClass assembly. This created a datasource entity. I changed the databinding of the textbox to this datasource; however, the expected result (that the textbox's contents would be "allen") was not achieved. Further, putting text into the textbox is not updating the name property of the object. I know i'm missing something fundamental here. At some point i should have to tie my instance of the MyClass class that i initialized inside the form code to the textbox, but that hasn't occurred. Everything i've looked at online seems to gloss over using DataBinding with an object (or i'm missing the mark entirely), so any help is great appreciated. ----Edit--- Utilizing what i learned by the answers, i looked at the code generated by Visual Studio, it had the following: this.myClassBindingSource.DataSource = typeof(BindingTest.MyClass); if i comment that out and substitute : this.myClassBindingSource.DataSource = new MyClass(); i get the expected behavior. Why is the default code generated by VS like it is? Assuming this is more correct than the method that works, how should i modify my code to work within the bounds of what VS generated?

  • Synchronizing a collection of wrapped objects with a collection of unwrapped objects

    - by Kenneth Cochran
I have two classes: Employee and EmployeeGridViewAdapter. Employee is composed of several complex types. EmployeeGridViewAdapter wraps a single Employee and exposes its members as a flattened set of system types so a DataGridView can handle displaying, editing, etc. I'm using VS's builtin support for turning a POCO into a data source, which I then attach to a BindingSource object. When I attach the DataGridView to the BindingSource it creates the expected columns and at runtime I can perform the expected CRUD operations. All is good so far. The problem is the collection of adapters and the collection of employees aren't being synchronized. So all the employees I create an runtime never get persisted. Here's a snippet of the code that generates the collection of EmployeeGridViewAdapter's: var employeeCollection = new List<EmployeeGridViewAdapter>(); foreach (var employee in this.employees) { employeeCollection.Add(new EmployeeGridViewAdapter(employee)); } this.view.Employees = employeeCollection; Pretty straight forward but I can't figure out how to synchronize changes back to the original collection. I imagine edits are already handled because both collections reference the same objects but creating new employees and deleting employees aren't happening so I can't be sure.
