  OpenCV 2.0a does not include pre-compiled OpenCV libraries for Visual Studio users. I am trying to build the libraries from source using Visual Studio 2010 Beta and CMake, but I am getting lot of errors. I even tried generating the libs from dlls using dumpbin but the linker errors are still persisting. Please guide me to generate the static libs for VS2010.

  I am attempting to link an Excel source to a SQL Server DB on the Go Daddy website.  When I execute the sp in SQL Server, it shows it executed successfully, but no data is linked.   With IMFMediaSource and IMFByteStreamHandler I can access bytes from media source to determine media type and audio/video stream parameters, such as duration, quality, number of streams, etc. But can I replace these bytes and send them back to client? E.g. I receive zip file bytestream, extract actual media and send another bytestream with asf (for example) data. Is this possible?

After some experimentation on the design side the font that people like is Segoe UI. Now I can embed this font and although the font is freely available in Windows we don’t have distribution rights for this font. I am looking for an open source font visually equivalent of the Segoe family that can be freely distributed. Does such a font exist?

• Clear Asp.Net cache from outside of application (not using source code)

  Hi, I have a asp.net web application and I'm using cache (HttpRuntime.Cache) to save some stuff from db. I also update db from time to time so that data in db does not match the data in my application's cache. Is there any way how to clear my application's cache without modifying any source code or republishing the page? I tried to restart IIS and to clear browsers cache but nothing helps. Please help.

  Writing an app that will include the ability to decompress zip and rar files. I think I'm OK on how to handle the .zips but .rars seem a little more trouble. I noticed that rarlabs has source available but it's C++. Is there a way to compile, wrap or otherwise use this code within an iPhone app?
