  • Copy SQL From Access To Delphi Script

    - by Libra
    I found a difficult with SQL on Delphi, I use ADOconnection and ADOQuery. Here these Query With ADOQuery Do Begin SQL.Text:='SELECT QUnionSAPiutang.kd_Customer, T_Customer.nama_customer, ' +'CDbl(IIf(IsNull(DSum("SA","QSumSAPiutang","kd_Customer='" & [QUnionSAPiutang].[kd_Customer] & "' AND ' +'Tgl<#1/1/2010# ")),0,DSum("SA","QSumSAPiutang","kd_Customer='" & [QUnionSAPiutang].[kd_Customer] & "' ' +'AND Tgl<#1/1/2010# "))) AS SA1, Sum(QUnionSAPiutang.D) AS Debit, Sum(QUnionSAPiutang.K) AS Kredit, ' +'[SA1]+[Debit]-[Kredit] AS SAkh ' +'FROM QUnionSAPiutang INNER JOIN T_Customer ON ' +'QUnionSAPiutang.kd_Customer = T_Customer.kd_customer ' +'WHERE (((QUnionSAPiutang.Tgl) Between #1/1/2010# And #1/31/2010#)) ' +'GROUP BY QUnionSAPiutang.kd_Customer, T_Customer.nama_customer'; End That Query Above has an error.... I try to fix, but still have an error. I hope you can help my problem, please fix that Query. I use Ms.Access XP for Database, if I run that Query on Accsess, the error is nothing. I use three object T_Customer, QUnionSAPiutang, and QSumSAPiutang. Where the red text is a part of QSumSAPiutang. coz QSumSAPiutang not directly Join with the others, it is call with DSum. Please help me, Thank you for your time. I hope reply from you soon....

  • PHP Object Access Syntax Question with the $

    - by ImperialLion
    I've been having trouble searching for this answer because I am not quite sure how to phrase it. I am new to PHP and still getting my feet on the ground. I was writing a page with a class in it that had the property name. When I originally wrote the page there was no class so I just had a variable called $name. When I went to encapsulate it in a class I accidental changed it to be $myClass->$name. It tool me a while to realize that the syntax I needed was $myClass->name. The reason it took so long was the error I kept getting was "Attempt to access a null property" or something along those lines. The error lead me to believe it was a data population error. My question is does $myClass->$name have a valid meaning? In other words is there a time you would use this and a reason why it doesn't create a syntax error? If so what is the semantic meaning of that code? When would I use it if it is valid? If its not valid, is there a reason that it doesn't create a syntax error?

  • WP7 BarcodeManager - Invalid cross-thread access

    - by rpf
    I'm trying to use Windows Phone 7 Silverlight ZXing Barcode Scanning Library but I'm having some problems. I'm using a background worker to check the image, but when I do this: WP7BarcodeManager.ScanBarcode(this.Image, BarcodeResults_Finished); The code throws an exception: Invalid cross-thread access. Here is my code... void photoChooserTask_Completed(object sender, PhotoResult e) { if (e.TaskResult == TaskResult.OK) { ShowImage(); System.Windows.Media.Imaging.BitmapImage bmp = new System.Windows.Media.Imaging.BitmapImage(); bmp.SetSource(e.ChosenPhoto); imgCapture.Source = bmp; this.Image = new BitmapImage(); this.Image.SetSource(e.ChosenPhoto); progressBar.Visibility = System.Windows.Visibility.Visible; txtStatus.Visibility = System.Windows.Visibility.Collapsed; worker.RunWorkerAsync(); } else ShowMain(); } void worker_DoWork(object sender, DoWorkEventArgs e) { try { Thread.Sleep(2000); WP7BarcodeManager.ScanMode = com.google.zxing.BarcodeFormat.UPC_EAN; WP7BarcodeManager.ScanBarcode(this.Image, BarcodeResults_Finished); } catch (Exception ex) { Debug.WriteLine("Error processing image.", ex); } } How can I solve this?

  • Google Drive API invalid_grant after removing access

    - by Sparafusile
    I have been writing a desktop application that uses the Google Drive API v2. I have the following code: var credential = GoogleWebAuthorizationBroker.AuthorizeAsync ( new ClientSecrets { ClientId = ClientID, ClientSecret = ClientSecret }, new[] { DriveService.Scope.Drive }, "user", CancellationToken.None ) .Result; this.Service = new DriveService( new BaseClientService.Initializer() { HttpClientInitializer = credential, ApplicationName = "My Test App", } ); var request = this.Service.Files.List(); request.Q = "title = 'foo' and trashed = false"; var result = request.Execute(); The first time I ran this code it opened a browser and asked me to grant permissions to the App, which I did. Everything worked successfully until I realized I was using the wrong Google account. At that point I logged into the wrong Google account and revoked access to my App. Now, whenever I run the same code it throws an exception: Error:"invalid_grant", Description:"", Uri:"" When I examine the service and request objects, it looks like the oauth_token isn't getting created any more. I know what I did to mess things up, but I can't figure out how to correct it so I can use a different Google account for testing. What do I need to do?

  • How to access variables in shared memory

    - by user1723361
    I am trying to create a shared memory segment containing three integers and an array. The segment is created and a pointer is attached, but when I try to access the values of the variables (whether changing, printing, etc.) I get a segmentation fault. Here is the code I tried: #include <stdio.h> #include <stdbool.h> #include <stdlib.h> #include <errno.h> #include <sys/types.h> #include <sys/ipc.h> #include <sys/sem.h> #define SIZE 10 int* shm_front; int* shm_end; int* shm_count; int* shm_array; int shm_size = 3*sizeof(int) + sizeof(shm_array[SIZE]); int main(int argc, char* argsv[]) { int shmid; //create shared memory segment if((shmid = shmget(IPC_PRIVATE, shm_size, 0644)) == -1) { printf("error in shmget"); exit(1); } //obtain the pointer to the segment if((shm_front = (int*)shmat(shmid, (void *)0, 0)) == (void *)-1) { printf("error in shmat"); exit(1); } //move down the segment to set the other pointers shm_end = shm_front + 1; shm_count = shm_front + 2; shm_array = shm_front + 3; //tests on shm //*shm_end = 10; //gives segmentation fault //printf("\n%d", *shm_front); //gives segmentation fault //clean-up //get rid of shared memory shmdt(shm_front); shmctl(shmid, IPC_RMID, NULL); //printf("\n\n"); return 0; } I tried accessing the shared memory by dereferencing the pointer to the struct, but got a segmentation fault each time.

  • mod_rewrite: no access to real files and directories

    - by tshabalala
    Hello. I use mod_rewrite/.htaccess for pretty URLs. I forward all the requests to my index.php, like this: RewriteRule ^/?([a-zA-Z0-9/-]+)/?$ /index.php [NC,L] The index.php then handles the requests. I'm also using this condition/rule to eliminate trailing slashes (or rather rewrite them to the URL without a trailing slash, with a 301 redirect; I'm doing this to avoid duplicate content and because I like no trailing slashes better): RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^\.localhost$ [NC] RewriteRule ^(.+)/$ http://%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [R=301,L] This works well, except that I now get an infinite loop when trying to access a (real) directory (the rewrite rule removes the trailing slash, the server adds it again, ...). I solved this by setting the DirectorySlash directive to Off: DirectorySlash Off I don't know how good this solution is, I don't feel too confident about it tbh. Anyway, what I'd like to do is completely ignore "real" files and directories, since I don't need them and I only use pretty URLs with "virtual" files/directories anyway. This would allow me to avoid the DirectorySlash workaround/hack too. Is this possible? Thanks!

  • OpenSceneGraph C++ Access Violation reading location 0x00421000

    - by Kobojunkie
    Working with OpenSceneGraph, and I keep running into this violation issue that I would appreciate some help with. The problem is with the particular line below which happens to be the first in my main function. osg::ref_ptr<osg::Node> bench = osgDB::readNodeFile("Models/test.IVE"); I have my models folder right in my directory. The error is as below. Unhandled exception at 0x68630A6C (msvcr100.dll) in OSG3D.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x00421000. And this is where the problem seems to be coming up. /** Read an osg::Node from file. * Return valid osg::Node on success, * return NULL on failure. * The osgDB::Registry is used to load the appropriate ReaderWriter plugin * for the filename extension, and this plugin then handles the request * to read the specified file.*/ inline osg::Node* readNodeFile(const std::string& filename) { return readNodeFile(filename,Registry::instance()->getOptions()); } I would appreciate details on how best to tackle this kind of exception message in the future. Are there tools that make this easy to debug or are there ways to capture the exact issues and fix them? I would appreciate any help with this. My ultimate goal is to learn how to better debug C++ related issues please. With this, it means reading through the compiler error list http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/850cstw1(v=vs.71).aspx is not enough

  • codeigniter cron job with http access

    - by user1313850
    Sorry if this is a duplicate question...I've searched around and found similar advice but nothing that helps my exact problem. And please excuse the noob questions, CRON is a new thing for me. I have a codeigniter script that scrapes the html DOM of another site and stores some of that in a database. I'd like to run this script at a regular interval. This has lead me to looking into cron jobs. The page I have is at myserver.com/index.php/update I realize I can run a cron job with curl and run this page. If I want to be a bit more secure I can put a string at the end like: myserver.com/index.php/update/asdfh2784fufds And check for that in my CI controller. This seems like it would be mostly secure, but doesn't seem like the "right" way to do things. I've looked into running CI from the command line, and can execute basic pages like: php index.php mycontroller But when I try to do: php index.php update It doesn't work. I suspect this is because it needs to use HTTP to scrape the DOM of the outside page. So, my question: How do I securely run a codeigniter script with a cron job that needs HTTP access?

  • WCF hosting: Can access svc file but cannot go to wsdl link

    - by Impulse
    Hello, I have a WCF service that is hosted in IIS 7.5. I have two servers, one for test and one for production. The service works fine on test server, but on the production server I have the following error. When I access the address http//..../service.svc I can see the default page that says: You have created a service. To test this service, you will need to create a client and use it to call the service. You can do this using the svcutil.exe tool from the command line with the following syntax: svcutil.exe http://..../service.svc?wsdl This will generate a configuration file and a code file that contains the client class. Add the two files to your client application and use the generated client class to call the Service. But when I click the wsdl link, I cannot go to the wsdl page. It returns me to this default web page without any errors. I am suspecting a network/firewall authorization error but does anybody have an experience like this one? All IIS settings are the same for test and production servers. Thank you, Best Regards.

  • Android designing an app to keep me logged into a wifi access point

    - by MrGibbage
    At the gym where I work out, they have an open wifi access point. The way it is set up, once you "connect", you have to navigate to a web page (it is a 1.1.X.X ip address) and click the "I agree" button, after presumably reading the user agreement. The problem is, they have it set up to log you out once an hour, which always happens in the middle of my workout. I have the SSID remembered, so it connects automatically when I come in range, but I get an android notification that further action is needed to fully connect. What I was wondering is if there a work around so that I don't have to click-through every hour? I was thinking of writing an app that could detect when I was in range, or when "half-connected", and then have it somehow complete the registration process. Perhaps this will have to be done by loading the web page in memory and then somehow clicking the "I agree" button. What I would like help with is: 1) what is the terminology involved here? What state is the connection in when I am connected, but I haven't clicked through? What other connection states may apply? If I knew that, I might just be able to research this and come up with a solution. Are these different states "detectable"? It seems like it is since I get a notification that I need to complete the registration process when I am "half-connected". 2) I know there are plugins for desktop browsers that can click buttons (like the keepass plugins, which will log you into a site). How could I replicate this in Android? Ideally I would like to do it internally, in memory, rather than firing up a browser. Possible? Comments? Is my understanding and thought process sound here, or am I overlooking something?

  • Python - Access a class from a list using a key

    - by Fake Name
    Is there any way to make a list of classes behave like a set in python? Basically, I'm working on a piece of software that does some involved string comparison, and I have a custom class for handling the strings. Therefore, there is an instance of the class for each string. As a result, I have a large list containing all these classes. I would like to be able to access them like list[key], where in this case, the key is a string the class is based off of. It seems to me that I sould be able to do this somewhat easily, by adding something like __cmp__ to the class, but either I'm being obtuse (likely), or Im missing someting in the docs. Basically, I want to be able to do something like this (Python prompt example): >>class a: ... def __init__(self, x): ... self.var = x ... >>> from test import a >>> cl = set([a("Hello"), a("World"), a("Pie")]) >>> print cl set([<test.a instance at 0x00C866C0>, <test.a instance at 0x00C866E8>, <test.a instance at 0x00C86710>]) >>> cl["World"] <test.a instance at 0x00C866E8> Thanks!

  • Access to SQL Server 2005 from a non-domain machine using Windows authentication

    - by user304582
    Hi, I have a Windows domain within which a machine is running SQL Server 2005 and which is configured to support only Windows authentication. I would like to run a C# client application on a machine on the same network, but which is NOT on the domain, and access a database on the SQL Server 2005 instance. I thought that it would be a simple matter of doing something like this: string connectionString = "Data Source=server;Initial Catalog=database;User Id=domain\user;Password=password"; SqlConnection connection = new SqlConnection(connectionString); connection.Open(); However, this fails: the client-side error is: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Login failed for user 'domain\user' and the server-side error is: Error 18456, Severity 14, State 5 I have tried various things including setting integrated security to true and false, and \ instead of \ in the User Id, but without success. In general, I know that it possible to connect to the SQL Server 2005 instance from a non-domain machine (for example, I am working with a Linux-based application which happily does this), but I don't seem to be able to work out how to do it from a Windows machine. Help would be appreciated! Thanks, Martin

  • Are there any concerns with using a static read-only unit of work so that it behaves like a cache?

    - by Rowan Freeman
    Related question: How do I cache data that rarely changes? I'm making an ASP.NET MVC4 application. On every request the security details about the user will need to be checked with the area/controller/action that they are accessing to see if they are allowed to view it. The security information is stored in the database. For example: User Permission UserPermission Action ActionPermission A "Permission" is a token that is applied to an MVC action to indicate that the token is required in order to access the action. Once a user is given the permission (via the UserPermission table) then they have the token and can therefore access the action. I've been looking in to how to cache this data (since it rarely changes) so that I'm only querying in-memory data and not hitting a database (which is a considerable performance hit at the moment). I've tried storing things in lists, using a caching provider but I either run in to problems or performance doesn't improve. One problem that I constantly run in to is that I'm using lazy loading and dynamic proxies with EntityFramework. This means that even if I ToList() everything and store them somewhere static, the relationships are never populated. For example, User.Permissions is an ICollection but it's always null. I don't want to Include() everything because I'm trying to keep things simple and generic (and easy to modify). One thing I know is that an EntityFramework DbContext is a unit of work that acts with 1st-level caching. That is, for the duration of the unit of work, everything that is accessed is cached in memory. I want to create a read-only DbContext that will exist indefinitely and will only be used to read about permission data. Upon testing this it worked perfectly; my page load times went from 200ms+ to 20ms. I can easily force the data to refresh at certain intervals or simply leave it to refresh when the application pool is recycled. Basically it will behave like a cache. Note that the rest of the application will interact with other contexts that exist per request as normal. Is there any disadvantage to this approach? Could I be doing something different?

  • Architecture for a business objects / database access layer

    - by gregmac
    For various reasons, we are writing a new business objects/data storage library. One of the requirements of this layer is to separate the logic of the business rules, and the actual data storage layer. It is possible to have multiple data storage layers that implement access to the same object - for example, a main "database" data storage source that implements most objects, and another "ldap" source that implements a User object. In this scenario, User can optionally come from an LDAP source, perhaps with slightly different functionality (eg, not possible to save/update the User object), but otherwise it is used by the application the same way. Another data storage type might be a web service, or an external database. There are two main ways we are looking at implementing this, and me and a co-worker disagree on a fundamental level which is correct. I'd like some advice on which one is the best to use. I'll try to keep my descriptions of each as neutral as possible, as I'm looking for some objective view points here. Business objects are base classes, and data storage objects inherit business objects. Client code deals with data storage objects. In this case, common business rules are inherited by each data storage object, and it is the data storage objects that are directly used by the client code. This has the implication that client code determines which data storage method to use for a given object, because it has to explicitly declare an instance to that type of object. Client code needs to explicitly know connection information for each data storage type it is using. If a data storage layer implements different functionality for a given object, client code explicitly knows about it at compile time because the object looks different. If the data storage method is changed, client code has to be updated. Business objects encapsulate data storage objects. In this case, business objects are directly used by client application. Client application passes along base connection information to business layer. Decision about which data storage method a given object uses is made by business object code. Connection information would be a chunk of data taken from a config file (client app does not really know/care about details of it), which may be a single connection string for a database, or several pieces connection strings for various data storage types. Additional data storage connection types could also be read from another spot - eg, a configuration table in a database that specifies URLs to various web services. The benefit here is that if a new data storage method is added to an existing object, a configuration setting can be set at runtime to determine which method to use, and it is completely transparent to the client applications. Client apps do not need to be modified if data storage method for a given object changes. Business objects are base classes, data source objects inherit from business objects. Client code deals primarily with base classes. This is similar to the first method, but client code declares variables of the base business object types, and Load()/Create()/etc static methods on the business objects return the appropriate data source-typed objects. The architecture of this solution is similar to the first method, but the main difference is the decision about which data storage object to use for a given business object is made by the business layer, not the client code. I know there are already existing ORM libraries that provide some of this functionality, but please discount those for now (there is the possibility that a data storage layer is implemented with one of these ORM libraries) - also note I'm deliberately not telling you what language is being used here, other than that it is strongly typed. I'm looking for some general advice here on which method is better to use (or feel free to suggest something else), and why.

    I have a connection class for MySQL that looks like this: class MySQLConnect { private $connection; private static $instances = 0; function __construct() { if(MySQLConnect::$instances == 0) { //Connect to MySQL server $this->connection = mysql_connect(MySQLConfig::HOST, MySQLConfig::USER, MySQLConfig::PASS) or die("Error: Unable to connect to the MySQL Server."); MySQLConnect::$instances = 1; } else { $msg = "Close the existing instance of the MySQLConnector class."; die($msg); } } public function singleQuery($query, $databasename) { mysql_select_db(MySQLConfig::DB, $this->connection) or die("Error: Could not select database " . MySQLConfig::DB . " from the server."); $result = mysql_query($query) or die('Query failed.'); return $result; } public function createResultSet($query, $databasename) { $rs = new MySQLResultSet($query, MySQLConfig::DB, $this->connection ) ; return $rs; } public function close() { MySQLConnect::$instances = 0; if(isset($this->connection) ) { mysql_close($this->connection) ; unset($this->connection) ; } } public function __destruct() { $this->close(); } } The MySQLResultSet class looks like this: class MySQLResultSet implements Iterator { private $query; private $databasename; private $connection; private $result; private $currentRow; private $key = 0; private $valid; public function __construct($query, $databasename, $connection) { $this->query = $query; //Select the database $selectedDatabase = mysql_select_db($databasename, $connection) or die("Error: Could not select database " . $this->dbname . " from the server."); $this->result = mysql_query($this->query) or die('Query failed.'); $this->rewind(); } public function getResult() { return $this->result; } // public function getRow() // { // return mysql_fetch_row($this->result); // } public function getNumberRows() { return mysql_num_rows($this->result); } //current() returns the current row public function current() { return $this->currentRow; } //key() returns the current index public function key() { return $this->key; } //next() moves forward one index public function next() { if($this->currentRow = mysql_fetch_array($this->result) ) { $this->valid = true; $this->key++; }else{ $this->valid = false; } } //rewind() moves to the starting index public function rewind() { $this->key = 0; if(mysql_num_rows($this->result) > 0) { if(mysql_data_seek($this->result, 0) ) { $this->valid = true; $this->key = 0; $this->currentRow = mysql_fetch_array($this->result); } } else { $this->valid = false; } } //valid returns 1 if the current position is a valid array index //and 0 if it is not valid public function valid() { return $this->valid; } } The following class is an example of how I am accessing the database: class ImageCount { public function getCount() { $mysqlConnector = new MySQLConnect(); $query = "SELECT * FROM images;"; $resultSet = $mysqlConnector->createResultSet($query, MySQLConfig::DB); $mysqlConnector->close(); return $resultSet->getNumberRows(); } } I use the ImageCount class like this: if(!ImageCount::getCount()) { //Do something } Question: Is this an okay way to access the database? Could anybody recommend an alternative method if it is bad? Thank-you.

  • How to access Hibernate session from src folder?

    - by firnnauriel
    I would like to know how to access the Service and Domains properly in this sample class placed in src/java folder public class NewsIngestion implements Runnable { private String str; private int num; private Logger log = Logger.getLogger("grails.app"); private static boolean isRunning; private Thread t; private WorkerJobService jobService; private NewsService newsService; public NewsIngestion(String s, int n) { jobService = new WorkerJobService(); newsService = new NewsService(); str = s; num = n; isRunning = false; t = new Thread (this, "NewsIngestion"); } public void run () { while(isRunning){ try{ if(jobService.isJobEnabled("ConsumeFeedsJob") && jobService.lockJob("ConsumeFeedsJob")){ log.info("${this.class.name}: ConsumeFeedsJob started"); try{ // get all sources List sources = (List) InvokerHelper.invokeMethod(RSSFeed.class, "list", null); for(int i = 0; i < sources.size(); i++) { RSSFeed s = (RSSFeed) sources.get(i); // check if it's time to read the source int diff = DateTimeUtil.getSecondsDateDiff(s.getLastChecked(), new Date()); if(s.getLastChecked() == null || diff >= s.getCheckInterval()){ List keyword_list = (List) InvokerHelper.invokeMethod(Keyword.class, "list", null); for(int j = 0; j < keyword_list.size(); j++) { String keyword = (String) keyword_list.get(j); try{ newsService.ingestNewsFromSources(keyword, s); }catch(Exception e){ log.error("${this.class.name}: ${e}"); } log.debug("Completed reading feeds for ${keyword}."); log.info("${this.class.name}: Reading feeds for '${keyword}' (${s.feedName}) took ${Float.toString(st2.getDuration())} second(s)."); } s.setLastChecked(new Date()); InvokerHelper.invokeMethod(RSSFeed.class, "save", null); } log.info("${this.class.name}: Reading feeds for '${s.feedName}' for all keywords took ${Float.toString(st.getDuration())} second(s)."); } }catch(Exception e){ log.error("${this.class.name}: Exception: ${e}"); } log.info("${this.class.name}: ConsumeFeedsJob ended."); // unlock job jobService.unlockJob("ConsumeFeedsJob"); } log.info("alfred: success"); } catch (Exception e){ log.info("alfred exception: " + e.getMessage()); } try { Thread.sleep(5000); } catch (InterruptedException e) { log.info(e.getMessage()); } } } public void start() { if(t == null){ t = new Thread (this, "NewsIngestion"); } if(!isRunning){ isRunning = true; t.start(); } } public void stop() { isRunning = false; } public boolean isRunning() { return isRunning; } } I'm encountering this error message: No Hibernate Session bound to thread, and configuration does not allow creation of non-transactional one here Thanks.

  • Am I allowed to display a small image on top of a Google Maps Static Api map?

    - by Fábio Santos
    I am the webmaster to my company's website. I was asked to make the Google Map on this page smaller, but the interactive map doesn't work well at all at 300x200. I was asked to place a screenshot there but since that seems to be a violation of Google's terms I decided to use the Static Maps API. As you can see, on the page, I have a custom pointer icon. I don't want to lose it, so I intend to use HTML and CSS to place the pointer over the map, thus replacing the original pointer on the client side. Am I allowed to do that?

  • Assemble static site from templates? (don't want to reinvent the wheel)

    - by raindog308
    I have a site that is 100% static content (no php, just some javascript). There's several "blocks" like the header, menu, footer, etc. that are the same on each page. Rather than do a lot of copy/pasting, I was thinking of some kind of template system where I could run a CLI command (in php, perl, python, shell, whatever) and have it replace all the block tags with the actual block text. I did see some answers in this question, but those seem oriented towards "we provide the style and layout, you provide the text". In my case, I have everything as far as layout, css, etc. - just want to do a glorified sed. Before I invent the wheel, I was wondering if there was a tool out there already.

  • How to create a Request Specific Thread Safe Static int Counter?

    - by user960567
    In one of my server application I have a class that look like, class A { static int _value = 0; void DoSomething() { // a request start here _value = 0; _value++; // a request end here } // This method can be called many time during request void SomeAsyncMethods() { _value++; } } The problem is SomeAsyncMethods is async. Can be called many times. What I need when a request start set _value = 0 and then asynchrosnously increment this. After end of request I need the total. But the problem is that another request at the same time can access the class.
