• cURL gets Internal Server Error when posting to aspx page

  I have a big problem. I have some applications made on an unix based system, and I use PHP with cURL to post an XML question to an IIS server with asp.net. Every time I ask the server something I get error: HTTP/1.1 500 Internal Server Error Date: Tue, 04 May 2010 07:36:08 GMT Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0 X-Powered-By: ASP.NET X-AspNet-Version: 2.0.50727 Cache-Control: private Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Content-Length: 3032 But if I ask same question on another server, almost identically to this one (BOTH configured by me) I get results like it should and the headers: HTTP/1.1 200 OK Date: Tue, 04 May 2010 07:39:37 GMT Server: Microsoft-IIS/6.0 X-Powered-By: ASP.NET X-AspNet-Version: 2.0.50727 Cache-Control: private Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 Content-Length: 9169 I tried everything, searched hundreds of forums, but i don't find anything.   Following are two pieces of jquery code. First one prints a text message when clicked on a link, and the second slides down a div when click on a link. I want to merge second code into first one, so that when I click the link, it displays the message (as the first code does), and also slides down the #votebox (as done in second code, and show content in that. • Nerd Dinner tutorial question (can't pull data off Model)

  I am just following the tutorial about NerdDinner and was stuck because when I am implementing the "Index" View Template I got no data from it. • MVC View Model Intellesense / Compile error

  I have one Library with my ORM and am working with a MVC Application. I have a problem where the pages won't compile because the Views can't see the Model's properties (which are inherited from lower level base classes). They system throws a compile error saying that 'object' does not contain a definition for 'ID' and no extension method 'ID' accepting a first argument of type 'object' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) implying that the View is not seeing the model. In the Controller I have full access to the Model and have check the Inherits from portion of the view to validate the correct type is being passed. Now, I would like to completely restore the previously saved state from 'test.ser', but seem to have a misconception of how to properly deserialize an objects state.   this one puzzles me. I have an Image with a width of 1600 pixels and height of 1819 pixels. But this time the result is Frame - width 405.000000, height 411.000000 - Bounds - width 1601.510864, height 1625.236938 Content size width 404.617920, height 460.000000 Why is the frame size suddely 405 by 411 pixels? How can the Bounds be 1601 by 1625 where 1625 is roughly 200 pixels less than the original size? When Positioning a further UIImageView at the coordinates of 20 by 1625, the UIImageView is displayed an estimated 200 pixels above the bottom of the content of the UIScrollView. I'm lost ...

• RemoteViewsService never gets called whenever we update app widget

  I am making one task widget application. This is a simple widget application which can be used to add new tasks by clicking on "+New Task". So ideally what I have done is, I've added a widget first, then when we click on "+New Task" a new activity opens up from where we can type in a new task and it should get updated in the ListView inside the home screen widget. Problem: Now whenever I add a new task, the ListView does not get updated. The data gets inside the database a new is created as well. My onUpdate(...) method gets called as well. There is a WidgetService.java which is a RemoteViewService that is being used to call the RemoteViewFactory but WidgetService.java gets called only when we create the widget, never after that. WidgetService.java never gets called again. How can this be achieved (preferably without editing any of the code auto-generated by Netbeans)?

• SOLR not searching on certain fields

  hey guys, just installed solr, edited the schema.xml, and am now trying to index it and search on it with some test data. In the XML file I'm sending to SOLR, one of my fields look like this: <field name="PageContent"><![CDATA[<p>some text in a paragrah tag</p>]]></field> There's HTML there, so I've wrapped it in CDATA. In my SOLR schema.xml, the definition for that field looks like this: <field name="PageContent" type="text" indexed="true" stored="true"/> When I ran the POSTing tool, everything went ok, but when I search for content which I know is inside the PageContent field, I get no results. However, when I set the node to PageContent, it works. But if I set it to any other field, it doesn't search in PageContent. Am I doing something wrong? what's the issue? thanks very much for any help cheers! UPDATE Just to clarify on the error.   Hello, Really getting in to javascript and looking around at some patterns. One I have come accross is the module pattern. Its seems like a nice way to think of chucks of functionality so I went ahead and tried to implement it with jQuery. I ran in to a snag though. These both use jQuery methods. The problem is that the .html() method works fine however i can not add the class. No errors result and the class does not get added. What is happening here? • Details View and integration with TinyMCE <%@ Page validateRequest="false" %>

  I use TinyMCE in a DetailView in in EDIT MODE. I would like to know if there is a solution which can prevent Request Validation to trigger an error WITHOUT USING <%@ Page validateRequest="false" %> for my page. The only way I found out at the moment is to encode TextBox used by TinyMCE using option: "xml" tinyMCE.init({ encoding: "xml", In this way Request Validation does not trigger error but at the time to read the data in the TextBox the result it is Encoded. I also tried to Decode on PageLoad the content of the TextBox using this code myTextBox.Text = HttpUtility.HtmlDecode(myTextBox.Text) But the result is not as expected, so I can visualize it just Encoded text. Any Ideas? Thanks UPDATE I found a solution to my problem. I added in _DataBound event for the DetailsView this code TextBox myContentAuthor = (TextBox)uxAuthorListDetailsView.FindControl("uxContentAuthorInput"); myContentAuthor.Text = HttpUtility.HtmlDecode(myContentAuthor.Text); So on DataBound event, (should work even on post back) the content will be decodene for textbox tinymce. Here how should work: 01 - TinyMCE ESCAPE data inserted in textbox using function encoding: "xml", 02 - Data has been stored as ESCAPED 03 - To read the data and add its content to a TextBox where apply TinyMCE use in DATABOUND EVENT for DetailView and HttpUtility.HtmlDecode (so it will look decoded) 04 - You can modify content in the textbox in edit mode. On post back TinyMCE will encoded again using encoding: "xml" an so on Hope guys can help some one else. But please give me your comment on this solution thanks! Mybe you come up with more elegant solution! :-)

  Hi, I'm aware about Google ignore most of the time, meta tag and use content. (This is not the point here) I'm working on an existing web site, not created by me. I need a quick solution, I guess with variables. The website construction: (no known template system) index.html which is presentation page with language selection index.php which embeding menu, content, footer several content pages that are embedded by index.php What I need to do only for those 2 pages welcome_en.html and welcome_fr.html (these pages are embedded so no header possible on these page) to have different page title (browser title) and different META tag.   Hi, I'm trying to do something that is fairly simple, but my code looks terrible and I am certain there is a better way to do things in javascript. I am new to javascript, and am trying to improve my coding. This just feels very messy. All I want to do is to randomly change the order some words on a web page. • SL3 Grid RowDefinition Height Problem

  I have a parent grid that contains multiple row definitions, all of which have their height set to 'auto'. Within the parent grid are individual grids - each individual grid contains a custom content control. When the custom content control loads, the height may increase. What I am noticing is that when the height does increase, the content overlaps with the content in other rows. I have specified the horizontal and vertical alignments - am I missing something?   Hi, I want to update this very simple JS to Mootools 1.2 and it's not easy. • How do you use FastInfoset with JAXWS?

  I've got code that looks like it should be correct based on what I can find, but the spewed output doesn't indicate that it's using FastInfoset. My understanding is the Accept should indicate it can accept Fastinfoset and the response would actually use it, meaning it's not text/xml as the response type. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I've scoured with Google and I'm having a hard time finding much detail on how to use FastInfoset at all. For database simplicity it uses a where clause on the bag to filter the joining table. this works well until I start to test and I use the hbm file to create a database from the generated schema. The root and user tags columns aren't created. In the hbm file how do I define these two columns so they are generated in the schema?

• using AsyncTask class for parallel operationand displaying a progress bar

  I am displaying a progress bar using Async task class and simulatneously in parallel operation , i want to retrieve a string array from a function of another class that takes some time to return the string array. The problem is that when i place the function call in doing backgroung function of AsyncTask class , it gives an error in Doing Background and gives the message as cant change the UI in doing Background .. Therefore , i placed the function call in post Execute method of Asynctask class . It doesnot give an error but after the progress bar has reached 100% , then the screen goes black and takes some time to start the new activity.
