    Hi I am completely new to Java, so sorry if my question may sound a bit stupid. I am following a tutorial on hibernate and i am trying to get the context definition files from the file system. ApplicationContext ctx = new FileSystemXmlApplicationContext( new String[] { "conf/rssWebApplication-services.xml", "conf/rssWebApplication-data-hibernate.xml" }); But i get the following error: found : org.springframework.context.support.FileSystemXmlApplicationContext required: org.jboss.weld.context.ApplicationContext ApplicationContext ctx = new FileSystemXmlApplicationContext( new String[] { "conf/rssWebApplication-services.xml", Any idea what is the problem?   • WPF Binding to IDictionary<int,MyType>.Values Doesn't Respond to Property Changes?

    I am binding a ListView a property that essentially wraps the Values collection (ICollection) on a generic dictionary. When the values in the dictionary change, I call OnNotifyPropertyChanged(property). I don't see the updates on the screen, with no binding errors. When I change the property getter to return the Linq extension dictionary.Values.ToList(), without changing the signature of the property (ICollection) it works with no problem. Any reason why the Values collection bind and notify properly without projecting to an IList<?

    i tried making library with ar -r -c -s libtestlib.a *.o as given in this tutorial http://matrixprogramming.com/Tools/CompileLink.html But on linking with library following error comes g++ -o uni2asc uni2asc.o -L../Modules -ltestlib ../Modules/libtestlib.a: could not read symbols: Archive has no index; run ranlib to add one collect2: ld returned 1 exit status i tried with ranlib also but still the error comes.. im working with ubuntu9.10 Please suggest me some solution for this

    Hello, I know how to generate rounded corners using images. But please have a look at the link :- http://roundedbox.andreas-kalt.de/ The rounded corners on all four corners are all images, but my question is how are those borders in the middle done? Those green color borders that surround the whole div. The tutorial is given but it is German :(. Also i don't want to use Css3 like -webkit-border-radius etc as they are not yet supported in IE Thanks in advance :)

I have come across this one, but it has not been updated since 2008. If not can anyone recommend a good book/tutorial site for this kind of set up? Since we send HTTP request through XmlHttpRequest, the sent data can be anything, not necessary input in form. So, is there any reason to have form tag in HTML for AJAX application?

  • Is there a way to close a Unix socket for only reading or writing?

    Is there a way to only close "one end" of a TCP socket to cleanly indicate one side of a connection is done writing to the connection? (Just like you do with a pipe in every Unix pipe tutorial ever.) Or should I use some in-band solution like a sentinel value or some such? I only found shutdown() in the libc documentation and that doesn't seem like it does what I want.

    I'm using : $(window).scroll(function () { if ($(window).scrollTop() + 10 >= ($(document).height() - $(window).height())) { loadContent(); } } It works fine with Chrome, IE, Firefox but except in Safari. In function loadContent, I used JSON to load data, as this tutorial. But while I test in Safari, It takes the content twice from JSON. If the other takes 9 items, then Safari takes 18 items. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Thanks.
