  • Regex problem in Java in code sample

    - by JaneNY
    I have job with regex in my expressions: example !(FA1_A.i & FA1_M.i) I have operators ! ( ) & | operands have names [a-zA-Z_]*.[a-zA-Z_] I wrote in Java to split on tokens, but it doesn't split on operators and operands If should be !, (, FA1_A.i, &, FA1_m.i, ) . Can anybody tell me what is wrong ? String stringOpеrator = "([!|&()])"; String stringOperand = "(([a-zA-Z_]*)\\.([a-zA-Z_]*))"; String reg=stringOpеrator+"|"+stringOperand; Pattern pattern = Pattern.compile(reg); Matcher m = pattern.matcher(expression); // System.out.println("func: " + function + " item: " + item); while (m.find()) { int a=m.start(); int b=m.end(); String test=expression.substring(m.start(), m.end()); String g=test; tokens.add(new Token(expression.substring(m.start() , m.end()))); //m = pattern.matcher(expression); }

  • Parsing tnsnames.ora using regex...

    - by Welton v3.50
    I am attempting to pull some information from my tnsnames file using regex. I started with the following pattern: MYSCHEMA *? = *?[\W\w\S\s]*\(HOST *?= *?(?<host>\w+\s?)\)\s?\(PORT *?= *?(?<port>\d+)\s?\)[\W\w\S\s]*\(SERVICE_NAME *?= *?(?<servicename>\w+)\s?\) which worked fine when MYSCHEMA was the only schema in the file, but when there are other schemas listed after MYSCHEMA it matches all the way to the last schema. I have since created a new pattern: MYSCHEMA *=\s*\(DESCRIPTION =\s*\(ADDRESS *= *\(PROTOCOL *= *TCP\)\(HOST *= *(?<host>\w+)\)\(PORT *= *(?<port>\d+)\)\)\s*\(CONNECT_DATA *=\s*(?<serverdedicated>\(SERVER *= *DEDICATED\))\s*\(SERVICE_NAME *= *(?<servicename>[\w\.]+) *\)\s*\)\s*\) This pattern matches MYSCHEMA only, but I had to add every element that appeared in MYSCHEMA entry, and it won't match MYOTHERSCHEMA if it does not contain all the same elements. Ideally, I'd like a pattern that matches MYSCHEMA entry only, and captures HOST, PORT and SERVICE NAME, and optionally (SERVER = DEDICATED) (which I didn't have in the first pattern) to named groups. Below is the sample tnsnames that I've been using for testing: SOMESCHEMA = (DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS_LIST = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = REMOTEHOST)(PORT = 1234)) ) (CONNECT_DATA = (SERVICE_NAME = REMOTE) ) ) MYSCHEMA = (DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = MYHOST)(PORT = 1234)) (CONNECT_DATA = (SERVER = DEDICATED) (SERVICE_NAME = MYSERVICE.LOCAL ) ) ) MYOTHERSCHEMA = (DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS_LIST = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = MYHOST)(PORT = 1234)) ) (CONNECT_DATA = (SERVICE_NAME = MYSERVICE.REMOTE) ) ) SOMEOTHERSCHEMA = (DESCRIPTION = (ADDRESS_LIST = (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = LOCALHOST)(PORT = 1234)) ) (CONNECT_DATA = (SERVICE_NAME = LOCAL) ) )

  • Need to search email body for regex using VBA

    - by user6620
    I am trying to write a script that I can run from a rule withing outlook. The goal of this script is to search the email body for a regex pattern, \d{8}-\d{3}\(E\d\) in this case. I want to take that pattern and see if a folder with the name of the match exists and if not create one. I am not super familiar with VBA as I write mostly in python. I have copied and pasted the following bit of code together but at this time I am unable to get the MsgBox to appear when I send an email with 20120812-001(E3) in the body. I have two different versions below. --version 2-- Sub Filter(Item As Outlook.MailItem) Dim Matches, Match Dim RegEx As New RegExp RegEx.IgnoreCase = True RegEx.Pattern = "\d{8}-\d{3}(E\d)" If RegEx.Test(Item.Body) Then MsgBox "Pattern Detected" End If End Sub --Version 1-- Sub ProcessMessage(myMail As Outlook.MailItem) Dim strID As String Dim objNS As Outlook.NameSpace Dim objMsg As Outlook.MailItem Dim objMatch As Match Dim RetStr As String Set objRegExp = New RegExp objRegExp.Pattern = "\d{8}-\d{3}\(E\d\)" objRegExp.IgnoreCase = True objRegExp.Global = True strID = myMail.EntryID Set objNS = Application.GetNamespace("MAPI") Set objMsg = objNS.GetItemFromID(strID) MsgBox objMsg.Body Set objMatch = objRegExp.Execute(objMsg.Body) MsgBox objMatch End Sub

  • Create an SQL Express 2008 database in C# code, but login fails when trying to connect with a sysadm

    - by Andrés Gonzales
    I have a piece of code that creates an SQL Server Express 2008 in runtime, and then tries to connect to it to execute a database initialization script in Transact-SQL. The code that creates the database is the following: private void CreateDatabase() { using (var connection = new SqlConnection( "Data Source=.\\sqlexpress;Initial Catalog=master;" + "Integrated Security=true;User Instance=True;")) { connection.Open(); using (var command = connection.CreateCommand()) { command.CommandText = "CREATE DATABASE " + m_databaseFilename + " ON PRIMARY (NAME=" + m_databaseFilename + ", FILENAME='" + this.m_basePath + m_databaseFilename + ".mdf')"; command.ExecuteNonQuery(); } } } The database is created successfully. After that, I try to connect to the database to run the initialization script, by using the following code: private void ExecuteQueryFromFile(string filename) { string queryContent = File.ReadAllText(m_filePath + filename); this.m_connectionString = string.Format( @"Server=.\SQLExpress; Integrated Security=true;Initial Catalog={0};", m_databaseFilename); using (var connection = new SqlConnection(m_connectionString)) { connection.Open(); using (var command = connection.CreateCommand()) { command.CommandText = queryContent; command.CommandTimeout = 0; command.ExecuteNonQuery(); } } } However, the connection.Open() statement fails, throwing the following exception: Cannot open database "TestData" requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user 'MYDOMAIN\myusername'. I am completely puzzled by this error because the account I am trying to connect with has sysadmin privileges, which should allow me to connect any database (notice that I use a connection to the master database to create the database in the first place).

  • Factory, Abstract Factory and Factory Method

    - by skydoor
    Hi, I am really confused about these three terms. My understanding is that: in the Factory pattern, there is no concrete factory. The factory builds the new objects according to the parameters. in Abstract Factory pattern, there are multiple concrete factories. The client has to create different concrete factories explicitly. Is that right? What are the other differences? Furthermore, what is the Factory Method pattern? Is it same as the Factory pattern?

  • JME: How to get the complete screen in WHITE without buttons, etc etc

    - by Sepala

In here, I am making the light on and vibrate on when user click the button. However, I really wanted to create a SOS application which turn the whole screen into white, and go to black, like that, in the thread. I guess I didn't achieve that by this app because even the lights are on, the buttons are still there. I tried to turn the "Form" color to "white" but it seems like JME has no "Color" class! Please help!

  • HowTo make a marching ants border in Morphic?

    - by Helene Bilbo
    I am looking for a marching ants border or line in Morphic: Wikipedia describes a possbile algorithm: The easiest way to achieve this animation is by drawing the selection using a pen pattern that contains diagonal lines. If the selection outline is only one pixel thick, the slices out of the pattern will then look like a dashed line, and the animation can easily be achieved by simply shifting the pattern one pixel sideways and redrawing the outline. As there is probably none readymade, has anybody a hint for me how to create such a border or line? (The marching ants pattern as a GIF animation is licensed under CC by Uli Kusterer)

  • Replacing values using preg_replace

    - by Jeepstone
    I have a Joomla plugin (not important in this context), which is designed to take an input with a load of numbers (within a paragraph of text) and replace them with a series of s. My problem is that I need to do a preg_replace on my $article-text, but I don't know how to then apply the changes to the matched terms. I've seen the preg_replace_callback, but I don't know how I can call that within a function. function onPrepareContent( &$article, &$params, $limitstart ) { global $mainframe; // define the regular expression $pattern = "#{lotterynumbers}(.*?){/lotterynumbers}#s"; if(isset($article->text)){ preg_match($pattern, $article->text, $matches); $numbers = explode("," , $matches[1]); foreach ($numbers as $number) { echo "<div class='number'><span>" . $number . "</span></div>"; } }else{ $article->text = 'No numbers'; } return true; } AMENDED CODE: function onPrepareContent( &$article, &$params, $limitstart ) { global $mainframe; // define the regular expression $pattern = "#{lotterynumbers}(.*?){/lotterynumbers}#s"; if(isset($article->text)){ preg_match($pattern, $article->text, $matches); $numbers = explode("," , $matches[1]); foreach ($numbers as $number) { $numberlist[] = "<div class='number'><span>" . $number . "</span></div>"; } $numberlist = implode("", $numberlist); $article->text = preg_replace($pattern, $numberlist, $article->text); }else{ $article->text = 'No numbers'; } return true; }

  • Configuring web.xml for webservices and servlet.

    - by Win Man
    Hi, I am new to Restlets. Trying to configure the web.xml (on JBoss). I have 2 entries, one for a servlet (got nothing to do with webservices) other for webservices, using Restlet. Here are the entries.. <servlet> <servlet-name>AuthenticationServlet</servlet-name> <servlet-class>com.safeid.web.server.api.servlet.AuthenticationServlet</servlet-class> <load-on-startup>2</load-on-startup> </servlet> <servlet-mapping> <servlet-name>AuthenticationServlet</servlet-name> <url-pattern>/authenticate/*</url-pattern> </servlet-mapping> <!-- Start of Entries for the REST Web Services. --> <context-param> <param-name>org.restlet.application</param-name> <param-value>com.safeid.web.server.SafeIDRouterApplication</param-value> </context-param> <servlet> <servlet-name>RestletServlet</servlet-name> <servlet-class>com.noelios.restlet.ext.servlet.ServerServlet</servlet-class> <load-on-startup>1</load-on-startup> </servlet> <servlet-mapping> <servlet-name>RestletServlet</servlet-name> <url-pattern>/*</url-pattern> </servlet-mapping> <!-- END of Entries for the REST Web Services.--> Both don't work together. In the above setup the Restlet works. However when I change the RestletServlet /* to something like <servlet-mapping> <servlet-name>RestletServlet</servlet-name> <url-pattern>/credential/*</url-pattern> </servlet-mapping> the Restlet stop working and the AuthenticationServlet works fine. What am I missing here?

  • How do I create regex groups for replacement?

    - by resting
    I have this sample string: Image: SGD$45.32 SKU: 3f3f3 dfdfd grg4t BP 6yhf Pack Size: 1000's Color: Green Price: SGD$45.32 SGD$45... I would like to remove all the prices namely: SGD$45.32 Price: SGD$45.32 SGD$45 I have this expression thats supposed to match the 3 groups: $pattern = '/(Price.+\sSGD\$\d+\.\d{2})(SGD\$\d+\.\d{2})(SGD\$\d+)/'; $new_snippet = preg_replace($pattern, '', $snippet);` But apparently its not working. It works if I replace a single group at a time. But, I'd like to know if it possible to replace all possible matching groups with a single statement. Tried preg_match_all($pattern, $snippet, $matches); to show matches based on the above pattern, but no matches are found if I put all 3 groups together.

  • Possible to split one JAX-WS service across multiple source files?

    - by Rob S.
    Hi everyone, Is it possible to split a web service in to multiple classes and still provide a single path to the web service? I know this isn't possible because of the duplicate url-pattern values. It sort of illustrates where we're wanting to go :) <endpoint name="OneBigService" implementation="SmallImpl1" url-pattern="/OneBigService"/> <endpoint name="OneBigService" implementation="SmallImpl2" url-pattern="/OneBigService"/> Basically, how do avoid having one monolithic @WebService class? Thanks! Rob

  • Is MVVM killing silverlight development?

    - by DeanMc
    This is a question I have had rattling around in my head for some time. I had a chat with a guy the other night who told me he would not be using the navigational framework because he could not figure out how it works with MVVM. As much as I tried to explain that patterns should be taken with a pinch of salt he would not listen. My point is this, patterns are great when they solve some problem. Sometimes only part of the pattern solves a particular problem while the other parts of it cause different problems. The goal of any developer is to build a solid application using a combination of patterns know how and foresight. I feel MVVM is becoming the one pattern to rule them all. As it is not directly supported by .Net some fancy business is needed to make it work. I feel that people are missing the point of the pattern, which is loosely coupled, testable code and instead jumping through hoops and missing out on great experiences trying to follow MVVM to the letter. MVVM is great but I wish it came with a warning or disclaimer for newbies as my fear is people will shy away from silverlight development for fear of being smacked with the mvvm stick. EDIT: Can I just add as an edit, I use and agree with MVVM as a pattern I know when it is and isn't feasible in my projects. My issue is with the encompassing nature it is taking, as if it HAS to be used as part of development. It is being used as an integral feature and not a pattern, which it is.

  • Powershell 2.0 Hang When Run From MsDeploy pre- post- ops using c/

    - by SonOfNun
    I am trying to invoke powershell during the preSync call in a MSDeploy command, but powershell does not exit the process after it has been called. The command (from command line): "tools/MSDeploy/msdeploy.exe" -verb:sync -preSync:runCommand="powershell.exe -NoLogo -NoProfile -NonInteractive -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Command C:/MyInstallPath/deploy.ps1 Set-WebAppOffline Uninstall-Service ",waitInterval=60000 -usechecksum -source:dirPath="build/for-deployment" -dest:wmsvc=BLUEPRINT-X86,username=deployer,password=deployer,dirPath=C:/MyInstallPath I used a hack here (http://therightstuff.de/2010/02/06/How-We-Practice-Continuous-Integration-And-Deployment-With-MSDeploy.aspx) that gets the powershell process and kills it but that didn't work. I also tried taskkill and the sysinternals equivalent, but nothing will kill the process so that MSDeploy errors out. The command is executed, but then just sits there. Any ideas what might be causing powershell to hang like this? I have found a few other similar issues around the web but no answers. Environment is Win 2K3, using Powershell 2.0. UPDATE: Here is a .vbs script I use to invoke my powershell command now. Invoke using 'cscript.exe path/to/script.vbs': Option Explicit Dim oShell, appCmd,oShellExec Set oShell = CreateObject("WScript.Shell") appCmd = "powershell.exe -NoLogo -NoProfile -NonInteractive -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Command ""&{ . c:/development/materialstesting/deploy/web/deploy.ps1; Set-WebAppOffline }"" " Set oShellExec = oShell.Exec(appCmd) oShellExec.StdIn.Close()

  • Objective C loop logic

    - by Graham
    Hi guys, I'm really new to programming in Obj-C, my background is in labview which is a graphical programming language, I've worked with Visual Basic some and HTML/CSS a fair amount as well. I'm trying to figure out the logic to create an array of data for the pattern below. I need the pattern later to extract data from another 2 arrays in a specific order. I can do it by referencing a = 1, b = 2, c = 3 etc and then creating the array with a, b, c but I want to use a loop so that I don't have 8 references above the array. These references will be used to generate another generation of data so unless I can get help figuring out the logic I'll actually end up with 72 references above the array. // This is the first one which gives the pattern 0 0 0 0 (etc) // 1 1 1 1 // 2 2 2 2 NSMutableArray * expSecondRef_one = [NSMutableArray array]; int a1 = 0; while (a1 < 9) { int a2 = 0; while (a2 < 8) { NSNumber * a3 = [NSNumber numberWithInt:a1]; [expSecondRef_one addObject:a3]; a2++; } a1++; } // This is the second one which I'm stumbling over, I am looking for the pattern 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 // 0 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 // 0 1 3 4 5 6 7 8 // 0 1 2 4 5 6 7 8 // etc to -> // 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 If you run it in a line every 9th number is -1 but I don't know how to do that over a pattern of 8. Thanks in advance! Graham

It seems that the $@ and the . get swapped when it's actually executed.

  • Using nohup mysqldump from php script is inserting a '!' and breaking to a new line.

    - by Aglystas
    I'm trying to run a mysqldump from php using the nohup command to prevent the script from hanging. Here's the command (The database is mc6_erik_test, everything else is just a table list until you get to the end) exec("mysqldump -u root -pPassword -h vfmy1-dev.mountainmedia.com mc6_erik_test access_log admin affiliate affiliate_2_product authorized_ip category category_2_product claim_code claim_code_log country_exclude customer customer_2_subscription customer_account_log customer_address customer_bill customer_discount customer_ip customer_key email_bulk_log email_draft email_queue email_queue_log email_template endicia_log gift_wrap image_bulk_upload log mailing_list manufacturer merchant merchant_checkout merchant_ip merchant_ship merchant_ship_conf new_account_temp order_dest order_item order_item_2_dest order_item_2_package order_item_log order_item_registrant order_note order_package order_package_label orders package package_2_product pref product product_2_supplier product_also product_event_date product_image product_option product_related product_review product_review_helpful product_ship_disable report search_log subscription supplier temp_product transaction_account transactions wish_list wish_list_fill wish_list_item --opt --where='merchant_id=\'6\'' /tmp/sync_db_card_20100519105358.sql"); As you can see it's really long, because I have to specifically include only the tables I want to dump. The command works great from the command line, however when I run it through a web script towards the end the following is being used as the command... supplier temp_product transaction_account transactio! ns wish_list wish_list_fill wish_list_item --opt --where='merchant_id="6"' > /tmp/sync_db_card_20100519105358.sql So the table 'transactions' is being split by an exclamation point and newline. The rest of the command is exactly the same. And if I run this through the php-cli interface it doesn't happen only when I try running it via the webserver using nohup. I'm wondering if there is some inherit string length to using the exec command within a php script, or really if anyone has any general idea what is going on here.

  • How can I match end-of-line multiple times in a regex without interpolation?

    - by harschware
    Hi, if I have a input with new lines in it like: [INFO] xyz [INFO] How can I pull out the xyz part? I tried a pattern like /^\[INFO\]$(.*?)$\[INFO\]/ms, but perl gives me: Use of uninitialized value $\ in regexp compilation at scripts\t.pl line 6. I've been trying things to get interpolation to stop like using qr// but alas, no love. EDIT: The key is that the end-of-line anchor is a dollar sign but at times it may be necessary to intersperse the end-of-line anchor through the pattern. If the pattern is interpolating then you might get problems such as uninitialized $\. For instance an acceptable solution here is /^\[INFO\]\s*^(.*?)\s*^\[INFO\]/ms but that does not solve the crux of the first problem. I've changed the anchors to be ^ so there is no interpolation going on, and with this input I'm free to do that. But what about when I really do want to reference EOL with $ in my pattern? How do I get the regex to compile?
