  • Forward DB requests after a DB move in SQL Server

    I've moved database from one SQL Server instance on a machine to another machine completely. Is there any way to forward requests to the new server automatically so it doesn't require client config changes? Keep in mind it's only one DB out of many on the original server so I can't just forward all requests.

  • jquery loop hover button

    ok i have 6 buttons, im trying to have a jquery listener for when you hover over one of the 6 buttons, it changes class. im using a for loop to do this, heres my code: $(document).ready(function() { for($i=1;$i<7;$i++) { $('#button'+i).hover(function() { $(this).addClass('hovering'); }, function() { $(this).removeClass('normal'); }); } }); each button has an id of "buttonx" ( the x being a number ) help?

  • PHP Netbeans 6.8 subversion integration (Windows 7)

    I am using Netbeans 6.8 for PHP (under Windows 7) and the subversion integration doesn't work. I am able to checkout a module but I don't see the subversion features in the menus or the outine in the editor left margin that shows the changes in the files. I am using it under Ubuntu with no problems. Did any of you experimented the same problem? If yes, were you able to make it work? Thanks!

    I'm customizing work item templates in TFS 2008 through the PowerTools and I'm wondering is it possible to hide a field (or it's value) for certain users? For example, let's say I open TFS to my clients so they can submit feature requests. I'd like them to see the work item created, to see the history, changes etc. but I'd like to keep some of the field private and for our internal use. Is it possible?

I am wondering if there is local version control/snapshots for emacs independent of VC? let me clarify: every time I save buffer, I would like to be able to keep track of changes of each save in session. I know I can do something similar with backup files, but they are not automated like VC and a somewhat cumbersome. I have searched Google, but did not find the solution. I implemented this in Qt4 and internally used QStackWidget (basically, it's a series of controls, which only one can be visible each time). I am currently using a TabControl - what are my alternatives in C#? EDIT: I wrote a Qt4 application which was using QStackWidget. Now I am re-writing the same application in C#. No code is shared, this is a different application.

    I'd like to make my local repo point to a different fork of the same project. Will this work? Do a merge with the 'target origin' Change the origin repo in my config file to the 'target origin' Also, if my local repo is not entirely identical to the new origin (say, I've resolved some merge conflicts in my favor), will these changes be pushed to the new origin when I do a git push, or will only commits made after the change of origin get pushed?

  • Possible to use Bindings only for the SourceChanged event?

    Basically I want to use the WPF Binding framework to "observe" a property in the data context, and when that value changes to call an event handler. I do not actually want to bind it to any target. Sounds simple but from what I can see Binding is too coupled (to the visual tree and various other bits) to be able to use it flexibly. Any thoughts?

    I have an application with existing data, that has Zero in the date column. When I look at it from sqlplus I see: 00-DECEMB when I use the dump function on this column, I Get: Typ=12 Len=7: 100,100,0,0,1,1,1 I need to work with the existing data from .Net (no changes to the data,or the data structure or even existing sql statements) How the hack do I read this value, or write it. The db version varies, from 8 to 11. Help would be appreciated
