  hey all i am using lightbox to show an enlarge image of the thumbnail images, where in each enlarged image there is a submit button, when that button is clicked it addes to jcart and refreshes the pages, for demo please visit secure.sabayafrah.com username = mahmud password = mahmud now as you can see when you click at the thumbnail lightbox well show you an enlarge image in a bubble, where there is an submit image below the enlarged image if it was clicked it must add to cart and not refresh the page. i am using jcart as add to cart and lightbox to enlarge the images i asked so many people and all suggested that i use jquery live but i never used ajax so i am stuck here is it possible if yes is their a demo or a code well do this feature

• jQuery get request against Sinatra does not get text

  I have a very simple sinatra site that I'm trying to access via ajax through jQuery. To keep things incredibly simple, this code snippet: get '/behavior_count' do "60" end which returns "60" in the browser, shows up as an empty string when attempting to access the site via $.get in jQuery. The strange part is in Firebug, while the Response is empty, the HTTP header correctly describes Content-Length as 2, and I can see the request show up on the server. Is there something specific to Sinatra that isn't returning my data, or am I not using jQuery correctly? If it helps, I also tried this code: get '/behavior_count' do content_type 'text/plain', :charset => 'utf-8' "60" end and my jQuery looks like $.get('http://mysite:4567/behavior_count'); // Ignore the response, but // watch the request in firebug Any ideas?

  I have a problem with calling soap service from php page. I was implemented two page,first page was created in php, and second page was created in asp.net. In asp.net application I have SOAP service, which methods should be called from php.   Hello, I have a table in my php code. In the second column of the table, normally it displays "---", and after i click the submit button, it will display the calculating result in the same page. For example, <table> <tr><td>1</td><td>---</td></tr> <tr><td>2</td><td>---</td></tr> <tr><td>3</td><td>---</td></tr> </table> And in the same page, it should receive the variables $var1 = $_POST['variable1']; I'm not sure which way to use, ajax or javascript or just css? • Switching to FormViewMode.Edit is very slow

  When i switch an ASP.Net Formview from readonly mode to edit mode it takes more than 6 seconds(from edit to readonly takes a split second). I have no idea whats the reason for it. The EditItemTemplate contains a lot of controls(table,textboxes,dropdownlists) but in fact not more than the ItemTemplate has. Yet i have even commented out the complete FormView.DataBound where the controls are data bounded but without significant change. My ASP.Net Web Apllication is using Ajax and the Formview is completely nested in an UpdatePanel. Any suggestions or assumptions for this behaviour?

• Convert UTC date to actual date and time

  I have a chart of bitcoin prices. I have the correct prices on the Y-axis, but I cannot get the correct time on the X-axis. The time shows up in a UTC format in my console. I am adding price and date to the series each iteration. I need to get the date of that particular result and find the YEAR, MONTH and DAY of that so I can put it in the right format.   Hello, I have an MVC project where I have a form with fields a user can enter and save. On that same page I have a table which shows a brief listing of information that the user just saved. The problem I am having is trying to update only the table after a save and not an entire page refresh. Is this possible in jquery or MVC? If so does anyone have an example.   Hello guys i have a problem i wish i could find a solution i created this instant chat system works fine i created this seTimeout to retrieve data when the messages exceeded an extent slow script alert started to appear when i tracked down the problem i found out that the data is retrieved in time longer than the call to setTimeout and since i use jquery table sorter don't realize that the data is a table until it is all retrieved so continuous slow script alerts are displayed till all table is retrieved.one more thing i retrieve data using an ajax request. Note: The number of rows to be retrieved is 257 rows How could i solve this problem?Any ideas .

  I can listen to events from a certain topic in an ActiveMQ server using a simple asynchronous listener and print the incoming events to the console (code to that actually comes as an example in the activemq-cpp library). I would like to create clients on other machines that will listen to these events and update their displays. My question is: how to best go about doing this? Are there any Ajax examples you can point me that implement similar functionality? Or is there another technology (comet?) that is better to use for this scenario? • Forming a SOAP request message through WSDL

  I'm very new to webservices. I'm trying to figure out how I can formulate a request message (and determine what the response message) would be based on the wsdl description that I have. This is from a third party web service. The WSDL description that I have access to gives me a bunch of information like <types> <message> <operation> etc. But in the examples that I've seen online, it's showing the request mesage within the "soap:envelope" tag. What am I missing? Eventually I'd like to be able to call this webservice using JQuery. But I can't even figure out how to formulate the request message let alone make an ajax call to it. any help would be appreciated.

I'm building a point of sale program, so I don't want the page to refresh. How do I send the form data to the controller to process and store in the database without refreshing?
