If I just put in XUL file
<label value="°C"/>
it works fine. However, I need to assing ° value to that label element and it doesn't show degree symbol, instead literal value.
Hi

});
I recently read that using flexible array members in C was poor software engineering practice. However, that statement was not backed by any argument. Is this an accepted fact?
(Flexible array members are a C feature introduced in C99 whereby one can declare the last element to be an array of unspecified size. For example: )
struct header {
size_t len;
unsigned char data[];
};
Hello,
I have a div element in HTML document.
I would like to extract all elements inside this div that starts with a known text (e.g. "q17_").
How can I achieve this using JavaScript ?
(If needed, for simplicity, I can assume that all elements inside the div are of type input or select.)
Thanks !
I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing wrong, and I can't figure out how to Google it because a common mistake is very prevalent. I have the parent's height explicitly set, but I can't get #main-sub-content 's height to 100%.
Here's the page:
http://coloryourspot.vadremix.com/
And the corresponding CSS:
http://coloryourspot.vadremix.com/styles/primary/main.css
Can anyone spot the issue?
Solved: The problem was the parent element had height:auto!important;
Hi All,
I want my submit button to be positioned somewhere that outside my form element? Do I have any options? With the exception of jquery.

I have the following dilemma: I have a list of strings, and I want to find the set of string which start with a certain prefix. The list is sorted, so the naive solution is this:
Perform binary search on the prefixes of the set, and when you find an element that starts with the prefix, traverse up linearly until you hit the top of the subset.
This runs in linear time, however, and I was wondering if anyone can suggest a more efficient way to do it.
sub DirectoryExists {
my $param = shift;
# Remove first element of the array
shift @{$param};
# Loop through each directory to see if it exists
foreach my $directory (@{$param}) {
unless (-e $directory && -d $directory) {
return 0;
}
}
# True
return 1;
}
is there any way to optimize this code ?

jQuery.noConflict();
jQuery(document).ready(function(){
$("#mytabset").semantictabs({
panel:'.mypanelclass', //-- Selector of individual panel body
head:'headelement', //-- Selector of element containing panel header, i.e. h3
active:':first' //-- Which panel to activate by default
});
});
Hi I'd like to inquire on how i can load a WPF Xaml into code so that I can change the values of the attributes of some XAML elements and output it by creating another XAML files. This is so that I can output the same file with values dynamically input by the user.
the XamlReader.Load() method cannot be used; it will throw an exception (because they are unable to recognise Window as the root element). I'm using VS2013 and C#.
Do you know any good article on "When to use display:block when :inline and when :inline-block" and why?
and when we will have to override display:?? through css for any HTML tag/element?
Is it possible to control the placement of a generated control in asp .net 2.0 (c#)?
So for example in my page_load I create a new Panel() and then do Form.Controls.Add(pnl). However I'm finding it renders right at the end of the form.
I would like it rendering as the first element in the form.
I'm trying to make a page scroll down 150px from the current position when an element is clicked. So lets say you're roughly halfway scrolled down a page. You click this link, and it will slide you down an additional 150 pixels.
Is this possible with jQuery?
I've been looking at scrollTop and the scrollTo plugin, but I can't seem to connect the dots.
Hey everybody. Given an array of n integers, i need to find the product of each of the (n-1) subsets i.e:
ith subset = the product of all the elements except the ith element itself. e.g:
S = {1,0,3,2};
subset_product(1) = 0*3*2=0;
subset_product(2) = 1*3*2=6; etc.
So Any help?
I tried to program a little Application

Hi!
I want to add some style to head tag in html page using javascript.
var h = document.getElementsByTagName('head').item(0);
h.innerHTML += '<style>a{font-size:100px;}</style>';
But when I run this code in IE8 I see this error message:
Could not set the innerHTML property. Invalid target element for this operation.
Any ideas?
i need to make a drag and drop list for re-ordering which is longer than the screen height.
in order to make this usable, the window needs to scroll while the element selected and the mouse is near the boundaries of the screen.
what is the best way to achieve this?
thanks :)
I need to check if an element is x pixels from the bottom of the page, to dynamically load new content. currently, scrollTop and height do not match even if the bar is on the bottom.
jquery is allowed, although basic javascript would be more helpful.
Is it bad to be semantic purist all

Or both every time.
When I use the annotation:
@XmlRootElement(name="RootElement", namespace="namespace")
class RootElement {
to create xml file from java, it creates the root element as:
<ns2:RootElement xmlns:ns2="namespace">
but I wanted to create without the "ns2", like:
<RootElement xmlns="namespace">
Any idea how to fix it?

When i push the button i want to open the specified URL (it's local html files) and highlight the word at the "word number" position
Of course the code must ignore element nodes (<p>,<b>,<table> and so on)
Hi,
I like to display some (X)HTML content in a Qt application using QtWebKit.
The content should be generated from XML documents via XSLT.
As I am new to Qt, my questions are as follows:
1) Can QtWebKit display XML documents with the xml-stylesheet element set?
2) Can Qt apply XSLT to an XML document and return the result as a string or write it to a file?
After a bunch of animating, adding classes and setting css styles. is there an easy way to reset an element to be back in its original server delivered state?
