  • Missing Countries & locations from CultureInfo when trying to

    Hi All, I need to localize an application and have noticed that several countries don't appear in the list of county codes associated to cultureInfo. One example is Cyprus, I assume there might be others. If i need to localize settings for Cyprus (or other missing ones) how would I rename my resource files that they would render the correct text and such? Thanks

    Is there a way to force the MVC automatically generated code to follow the conventions you have set in your preferences? For example, I keep all curly braces on the same lines as their declaring class, method, etc, but when generating a controller, it completely disregards my settings. Is there a setting someplace to force the same code generation as other parts of project?

    When I run in visual studio I am able to connect to openid provider, But if I host app in IIS ,I am not able to connect to openid provider.     I am working on a Visual Studio 2008 project that is already added to TFS server. I am not sure which settings and policies have been configured for the TFS (this is done by a separate dept, not developers) Every time I make an edit to a code file , the file is checked out automatically (without explicitly checking out the code file myself) Please help me locate this setting or policy because it is not very useful at the moment. Sometime you want to make a local change to try out something, and not necessarily check out the code....

    I'm building a django app and I can't get the templates to see the CSS files... My settings.py file looks like: MEDIA_ROOT = os.path.join(os.path.abspath(os.path.dirname(__file__)), 'media') MEDIA_URL = '/media/' I've got the CSS files in /mysite/media/css/ and the template code contains: <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="/media/css/site_base.css" />` then, in the url.py file I have: # DEVELOPMENT ONLY (r'^media/(?P<path>.*)$', 'django.views.static.serve', {'document_root': '/media'}), but the development server serves the plain html (without styles). What am I doing wrong?

  • Issue building C++ DLL with Visual Studio 2010

    I have a very simple DLL written in unmanaged C++ that I access from my application. I recently switch to Visual Studio 2010, and the DLL went from 55k down to 35k with no code changes, and now it will no longer load in Windows 2000. I didn't change any code or compiler settings. I have my defines setup for 0x0500, which should include Windows 2000 support. Has anyone else run into this, or have any ideas of what I can do?

    Hi, I am getting the following error: Invalid authorization specification I've narrowed down the error to my connection string. I have verified the server name, database, user & password are correct. Here is the string: "Provider=SQLOLEDB;Server=xxxxx.db.12345.hostedresource.com;Database=foo;UID=fooUser;PWD=fooPW" The SQL server is hosted on Godaddy so I don't have access to its settings. Please help, I've scoured the internet for a solution!

  • how do I get all checkbox variables even if not checked from HTML to PHP?

    I noticed that PHP seems to return only values of checked checkboxes. I would like to see a list of checkboxes, not just values of checked checkboxes. Is there a way to detect variables of unchecked boxes? I asked because I want to be able to update settings. For example, I have a few options that are already checked but if an user decides to uncheck an option, I need to know that unchecked value so I can update the option to be disabled.

I can't find anything that tells me what settings to use to get the build process to copy the headers into Headers directory in the framework, or alternately where I have to put those files.     I have a main activity where I call VersionSettings vs = new VersionSettings(this); if (vs.firstRun2()) vs.versionCheckbox(); What I'm trying to do is set a checkbox (checkboxVideoType) to an unchecked state if the Android version is 1.6-2.1 I only want to do this the very first time the app is ever run, it never needs to run again. I think I'm running into the problem when the main activity calls versionCheckbox(), I get a force close if it attempts to run the code inside that is going to set the checkbox to false. I've written an app that is very simple in C#. I want this to compile to a stand alone exe file, but I can't seem to find the proper settings to do this.   • Is arithmetic overflow/underflow generally checked in .Net framework methods?

    For example, let's use the Add method of the ArrayList class. If I am using the default compiler settings in Visual Studio C# project in which arithmetic overflow is not checked, would ArrayList.Add() throw an OverflowException if I added too many items? Would surrounding the method call with checked or unchecked make any difference? BTW, I would write a test program to determine the answer to this question if I had Visual Studio available to me right now.
