Is anybody out there using Project Lombok for a large scale production system? How does it influence your compile process (i.e. does it do two-pass compilation, slow it down, make it more fragile)?
Hi,
I add an excel file to my project resource, and I would like to open it, but method woorkobook.open() take only path string as parameter :-(
What is the proper way to open and use those excel files from resource?
Hi there,
I'm in the need for a SCP library (free or commercial) to be used in a .Net 3.5 project. I've already had a look at SharpSSH but it lacks the a couple of basic features (like enumerating all files in a remote directory). Do you know a good, solid and cheap library?
I was trying to get fresh copy of my project from github using tortoise svn client. But I am getting following exception.
The PROPFIND request returned invalid XML in the response: XML parse

When I tried to checkout using subeclipse on Eclipse, it saying "Folder does not exist.".
I am able to checkout same repository on my other system.
I'm looking for what specifically the "Edit project-level information" permission allows you to do. So far I've noticed that by default you need this to add/delete areas & iterations, manage check-in policies, create team work item queries. What else am I forgetting?
noob question right here. How do you pass values between 2 different cpp files in the same project? Do you make objects? if yes, how does the other cpp file see it?
some enlightment pls..
I have a project which is source controlled using Subversion and VisualSVN. Since the version of web.config is different on the server and the developers' computers I want the file to remain on the computers but to be ignored by Subversion. I added it to the svn:ignore but it still remains (and still has a red exclamation mark too since we are not committing it).
How can I remove it from Subversion safely without it being deleted from the files system
Thanks,
Adin
Is there away to prevent eclipse from rebuilding the entire project every time I change an entry in the class path. Unfortunately, I have to play around with the build path often and rebuilding the projects takes a long time (easily 20-30 mins). Is there away to avoid this?
Is it normal the GWT to be so slow?
I'd created a new project in Eclipse, and run the default code created. The text field take almost a minute to show... is this slow normal?
Does anyone know how to diagnose why eclipse (using Ant) takes over an hour to build a project on a windows box that takes a Mac only 3 minutes to build?
I've checked my eclipse.ini file and it is as identical as a Mac and Windows implementation can be.
when i open a new xxx.xml file it doesnt write to the R.id my new var
example
when i write in xml :
<__Button android:text="New Game"
android:id="@+id/newGameButton"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"</Button
(the _ r from this web format boundaries )
in R it should write :
public static final int newGameButton=0x7f050013;
note : this is a xml i added as new to my project should i make something so the eclipse tool will write automatically to the R file?
We have a an iPhone app project that we wish to deploy multiple times under different client names. The individual apps will be very similar but will have different resources (icon, images etc) and config settings stored in plists (server names, options etc). What is the preferred means to manage this in Xcode? Obviously we really don't want different XCode projects for each App deployment since it's 90% shared code.
I'm writing an essay about ORM and SubSonic and I'm looking for some details regarding the project history (initial release, milestones, etc).
Anyone knows where I can find it? anyonce can give me a quick briefing?
Thanks
So I can add new templates for single files, but I want Xcode to uses these files when setting up the new project (most noticeably the Controller and Delegate .h and .m files). How do I do that?
This might sound stupid but whenever I run my app in Eclipse I get this annoying pop up asking me how to run it: Android app, JUnit, Eclipse app, etc'
I'm always running this project as an Android app, is there any way to tell Eclipse to stop asking me this.
I'm using Eclipse 3.5 on Snow Leopard.
Thanks
** EDIT
Screen shot of the pop up I'm getting
I having an XML file and that file is under the Documents folder.
If I actually give the entire path in C# then I am able to retrieve the XML values, but if I give the project path then it is not getting the values.
For example:
string fileNamePath=ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["XMLDocPath"].ToString() + fileName;
m_xmld.Load(fileNamePath);
It is throwing a runtime error.
Hi there,
Is anyone aware of any documented Student-Project allocation algorithms (similar to the Hospitals-Residents problem, which is a subset of a two-sided matching problem)?
Getting the following error when trying to open a word document with macros to fill in the form fields:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Word\Security\AccessVBOM.
The user opening the word document does not have admin rights and the AccessVBOM flag is either not available or set to zero.
I can set the flag for the HKCU (Current user) programmaticallybut cannot change setting for inunder HKLM .
Please advise how can we enable the trust for the VBA project programmatically.
Thx
Kumar
Hi,
I'm learning CodeDom scripting, I started with http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/uploadfile/mgold/codedomcalculator08082005003253am/codedomcalculator.aspx
Now I'd like to allow script modify the project's form (for learning purposes only).
I suppose I need to create new field for a class I'm generating which refers "this". However I have no idea how can I set a reference for script-accessible object ... ?
Or can I directly publish some class member (like "this" or "button1") to a CodeDom script structure?
How to change the Windows Application's default icon with other one in C# desktop application. I am trying to change it in Setup Project but it is not. I want to show my own icon with Application's shortcut rather then windows default icon
What's the best practice of making a variable that would be accessible by almost all classes in a Grails project? Is there a config file that I can use for storage of that data (i.e. application.properties)?
Thanks.
E.g. what "Use Core Data for storage" checkbox option means when creating new Window or Navigation based project?
How to add Core Data for Tab Bar Application?
How to initialize managedObjectModel, managedObjectContext, persistentStoreCoordinator?
