  • Django: auto minifying css/js files before release

    Hi, I have following case: I want to use uncompressed js/css files during development (to debug js for example) but on production I want to switch automatically to minified versions of that files. some simple solution is to put in your template: <script src="some_js.{% if not debug %}min.{% endif %}js".... but this require manully providing that such file exist and to do minifaction manullay after original file change. How do you accomplish this in your projects? Is there any tool for this?

Something like this: doc1: 1,0.45 6,0.001 94,0.1 ... doc2: 3,0.5 98,0.2 ... ... each position of the vector represent a word, and the score is given by something like TF-IDF. Do you know some library/tool/whatever for this? (java is better)

  • Using pydev with Eclipse on OSX

    I setup PyDev with this path for the python interpreter /System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.5/Python since the one under /usr/bin were alias and Eclipse won't select it. I can run my python script now but cannot run the shell as an external tool. The message I get is variable references empty selection ${resource_loc} Same if I use {container_loc} Any thoughts ?     I have a string (R(46 - 9900)) AND ( NOT (R(48 - 9900))) where R denotes Range . If you evaluate the expression it results in R(46-47) , considering the logical operators (AND,NOT).     Working with Python in Emacs if I want to add a try/catch to a block of code, I often find that I am having to indent the whole block, line by line. In Emacs, how do you indent the whole block at once. I am not an experienced Emacs user, but just find it is the best tool for working through ssh. I am using Emacs on the command line(Ubuntu), not as a gui, if that makes any difference.

    I have a complex XSD schema and hundreds of XML files conforming to the schema. How do I automate the creation of related SQL Server tables to store the XML data? I've considered creating C# classes from the XSD schema using the xsd.exe tool and letting something like Subsonic figure out how to make a shiny database out of it, but not sure if it's the best way to approach it. Has anyone managed to elegantly import XSD files into SQL Server?
