• Eclipse JPA structure view, detail view, and persistence.xml editor not working?

  Eclipse has pretty cool JPA Structure and JPA Detail views along with a persistence.xml editor and a JPA perspective. However, I cannot seem to get them to "turn on".   Is it possible to deceive SQL Server to return a different date on GetDate() without actually changing the machine date? This would be great, since we have a database with old data and I'm trying to test some queries that use getdate(). I can change my machine date but that brings some other problems with other applications... Any tips? Thanks!

  I have some xml files with figure spaces in it, I need to remove those with php. The utf-8 code for these is e2 80 a9. If I'm not mistaken php does not seem to like 6 byte utf-8 chars, so far at least I'm unable to find a way to delete the figure spaces with functions like preg_replace. Anybody any tips or even better a solution to this problem?
