    How can I specify an element where the content is to be retrieved from within the pageurl in the code below? $(function () { $("a[rel='sort']").click(function (e) { //e.preventDefault(); /* if uncomment the above line, html5 nonsupported browers won't change the url but will display the ajax content; if commented, html5 nonsupported browers will reload the page to the specified link. */ //get the link location that was clicked pageurl = $(this).attr('href'); //to get the ajax content and display in div with id 'content' $.ajax({ url: pageurl + '?rel=sort', success: function (data) { $('#content1').html(data); } }); //to change the browser URL to 'pageurl' if (pageurl != window.location) { window.history.pushState({ path: pageurl }, '', pageurl); } return false; }); });

  • JQuery identify current CSS background-image in three-state icon/button?

    - by T9b
Hi I have three images being used to indicate an application icon state and I'm attempting to use css to do this. No problem with the original or hover states: #myDIV { background-image: url(icons/homeBlack.png); } #myDIV:hover { background-image: url(icons/homeWhite.png); } but I need to do two other things: 1) when the item is clicked it should use the third image $("#myDIV").click(function(event){ // change this button $(this).css("background-image", "url(icons/homeBlue.png)"); }); 2) if it is clicked again it should not apply the third image again because it's already applied - so it needs to check if it has been applied My questions are: 1) simply am I missing a css trick somewhere or is Jquery the best way to do this? 2) can I check which background-image is in place and how? I can't seem to find anything in JQuery that would allow me to determine which image is "currently" in place. Thanks in advance for any help.

  • Cannot pass a input from text box to a query string and then keep the string in this box.

    - by Nikita Barsukov
I have a simple ASP.net page: <form id="form1" runat="server"> <p><asp:TextBox id="input_box" runat="server"></asp:TextBox> <asp:Button Text="OK" runat="server" OnClick="run" /></p> </form> I want to send input from input_box to a query string, and then keep this input in the input_box when the page reloads. That's the code behind page: protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { input_box.Text = Request.QueryString["input"]; } protected void run(object sender, EventArgs e) { string url = string.Format("?input={0}", input_box.Text); Response.Redirect(Request.Url.AbsolutePath + url); } Problem is that when query string is not empty, string from input_box cannot be passed to query string. How to correct it?

  • How to add jquery lightbox to content added to page via ajax?

    - by laurenmichell
I am loading a gallery onto a page using the Instagram API. The AJAX looks something like this $.ajax ({ type: 'GET', dataType: 'jsonp', cache: false, url: 'https://api.instagram.com/v1/tags/food/media/recent?client_id='+instagramCID, success: function(data) { for (i in data.data) { $('.instagram').append('<div class="instagram-placeholder"><a href="' + data.data[i].images.standard_resolution.url + '" title="Photo via '+ data.data[i].user.username +' on Instagram" rel="lightbox[gallery]"><img class="instagram-image" src="' + data.data[i].images.thumbnail.url +'"/></a></div>'); } } }); The HTML renders something like this after the AJAX has loaded the content to the page: <a href="http://distilleryimage1.instagram.com/5184cfc4754211e181bd12313817987b_7.jpg" title="Photo via washingtonwoman on Instagram" rel="lightbox[gallery]"><img class="instagram-image" src="http://distilleryimage1.instagram.com/5184cfc4754211e181bd12313817987b_5.jpg"></a> I know I need to load lightbox after the dynamic content is added to the page, but can't seem to figure out how to do that. All the other advice I've tried from stackoverflow has created crazy recursiveness that has crashed my browser. Using this jquery lightbox plugin: http://leandrovieira.com/projects/jquery/lightbox/

So I have Jquery Ajax working real nice, but an issue I am having is in my XML if I want to bold a work or Italicize a sentence, if I do it in the XML using HTML tags it will not show up. • Spotlight on an office - Moscow

    - by Maria Sandu
Probably the most famous place in Moscow, after Red Square, is the centre of Moscow. Here you can find beautiful buildings that seem to touch the sky, located on the banks of the river. In one of these high towers you can find the Oracle offices, friendly and modern. The stunning view will keep capture your attention for a couple of minutes and then you can enjoy a delicious coffee and take a seat at your desk, starting a new day. My name is Dmitry and I can tell you that we’re enjoying every minute spent in the office and that’s because of the pleasant atmosphere. As soon as you enter the offices, the friendly environment will make you feel more relaxed. Even though the space is split between the different departments, we interact and communicate a lot. We take our cup of coffee or tea together and discuss our achievements and all sort of subjects in the kitchen or in the open space. One of my favorite parts are the festive events when we celebrate with cakes and goodies. Any birthday or new arrival is a good reason for a tea party! We have some work-related traditions that help us as employees. One of them is the monthly Tech Hour when Experts from the Pre-sales team discuss technical topics and about the most recent innovations within the company. Lunch is another good opportunity to interact and chat. We have a variety of options, such as the two kitchens or the vast number of restaurants where you can serve up anything you want. As we are right in the centre of Moscow, you can choose between Sushi, Italian Pasta and all sorts of food. We usually go with our colleagues to have lunch. If you care about your health, I have very good news for you as nearby there are two first-class fitness centres with swimming pools, yoga and various sport classes that you can attend. My suggestion would be to either start or end your day with a visit to the swimming pool for a well-deserved hour of relaxation. As I mentioned before, we’re right in the heart of Moscow, so after work you can spend some time in the large shopping centers where you can choose between many different entertainment options. We often go to bowling or to the cinema. I hope I have given you a glimpse into working life at the Oracle offices in Moscow, a really great and pleasant place to work in, so follow us on http://campus.oracle.com for our latest vacancies and internships.

  • Managed HttpListener vs C++ Network Lib - Requires admin rights?

    - by Max
So, I have noticed that starting an HttpListener is considered impolite according to Win 7. I cannot do so without administrative rights without adding myself to some URL reservation list. In theory, this is alright, but I'd like to make my program as little invasive as possible. My main other alternative is something like the c++ Network Library, which utilizes boost. This is probably not as simple as a HttpListener though. Will this circumvent the admin rights requirement for listening to some HTTP url? How does windows handle http listening? Right now I'm just listening to http://+:xxxx/url, I guess it's fully possible to just create a Socket listening at port xxxx and provide my own/third party http implementation?

  • Javascript string.replace with regex

    - by Jimbo
I want to replace a url querystring parameter with a new value if it already exists or add it on if not. e.g. The current url could be: a. www.mysite.com/whatever.asp?page=5&version=1 OR b. www.mysite.com/whatever.asp?version=1 I need the resulting url to be www.mysite.com/whatever.asp?page=1&version=1 I suspect I can use string.replace with a regex to do this the most intelligent way but am hoping for a little help with it from someone more experienced with regexs :) Thanks!

However the web archive doesn't appear on the manager list applications page. Thanks.

  • WebUIView is very slow

    - by Shamil
Hello, I'm building a custom RSS reader app with incorporated feed link view (UIWebView). Using the following code, when the view, containing WebUIView is loaded, it takes about 6 seconds before anything is outputted to the user: -(void)viewDidLoad{ [super viewDidLoad]; NSString *urlString = [[[self appDelegate] currentlySelectedBlogItem]linkUrl]; NSURL *url = [NSURL URLWithString:urlString]; NSURLRequest *requestObj = [NSURLRequest requestWithURL:url]; [_webview loadRequest:requestObj]; [_webview setScalesPageToFit:YES]; } Any ideas why UIWebView is being so slow? I've checked the URL input, it's clean and what I'd expect it to be. I'm building for iOS 3.0 as base deployment target.

  • PHP CURL sending POST to Django app issue

    - by Felipe Pelá
This code in PHP sends a HTTP POST to a Django app using CURL lib. I need that this code sends POST but redirect to the page in the same submit. Like a simple form does. The PHP Code: $c = curl_init(); curl_setopt($c, CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION, true); curl_setopt($c, CURLOPT_URL, "http://www.xxx.com"); curl_setopt($c, CURLOPT_POST, true); curl_setopt($c, CURLOPT_POSTFIELDS, 'Var='.$var); curl_exec($c); curl_close ($c); In this case, the PHP is sending the HTTP POST, but is not redirecting to the page. He is printing the result. My URL still .php and not a django/url/ I need be redirected to the django URL with the Post like a simple form in HTML does. Any Idea? Thanks.

  • ext-js update params dynamically

    - by jeffkolez
I'm building a search using ext-js. I have an event that fires on keyup. I want to be able to change either the URL I'm searching, or the params. I've had luck with neither. Here's my snippit of code: Ext.get("search").on('keyup', function() { proxy.url = '/customer/list?key=' + $('search').value; store.load(); }); But, no love for me. The store loads, but the proxy.url is the old value. Is what I'm trying to do possible? Thanks in advance!

  • How can I relocate to a new repository address with TortoiseSVN?

    - by Jesse McGrew
I have a working copy checked out from: https://oldserver/svn/myproject/branches/mybranch The server address has changed (actually, the repo was copied over to a new server) so I want to relocate my working copy to the new address: https://newserver/svn/myproject/branches/mybranch Note that only the address changed, not the path. But if I type that URL in TortoiseSVN's "Relocate" dialog box, I get the error "'https://newserver/svn/myproject/branches/mybranch' is not the root of the repository" ... well, of course it isn't, but so what? Then I thought maybe SVN wanted the repository root URL, so I tried giving it https://newserver/svn instead, but that produced the error "Relocate can only change the repository part of an URL". Are there any options besides backing up my changes and checking out a fresh WC from the new server?
