• Cisco PIX 515 doesn't seem to be passing traffic through according to static route

  Ok, so I am having a spot of bother with a Cisco PIX515, I have posted the current running config below, now I am no cisco expert by any means although I can do basic stuff with them, now I am having trouble with traffic sent from the outside to address: 10.75.32.25 it just doesn't appear to be going anywhere. Now this firewall is deep inside a private network, with an upstream firewall that we don't manage. I have spoken to the people that look after that firewall and they say they they have traffic routing to 10.75.32.21 and 10.75.32.25 and thats it (although there is a website that runs from the server 172.16.102.5 which (if my understanding is correct) gets traffic via 10.75.32.23. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as to me it should all just work, but its not (obviously if the config is all correct then there could be a problem with the web server that we are trying to access on 10.75.32.25, although the users say that they can get to it internally (172.16.102.8) which is even more confusing) PIX Version 6.3(3) interface ethernet0 auto interface ethernet1 auto • Linking Boost to my C++ project in Eclipse

  I'm trying to get the Boost library working in my C++ projects in Eclipse. I can successfully build when using header-only libraries in Boost such as the example simple program in the "Getting Started" guide using the lambda header. I cannot get my project to successfully link to the regex Boost library as shown later in the guide. Under my project properties - c/c++ build - settings - tool settings tab - libraries, I have added "libboost_regex" to the Libraries box, and "C:\Program Files\boost\boost_1_42_0\bin.v2\libs" to the Library search path box since this is where all the .lib files are. I've even tried adding "libboost_regex-mgw34-mt-d-1_42.lib" to the libraries box instead of "libboost_regex" since that is the exact file name, but this did not work either. I keep getting an error that says "cannot find -llibboost_regex" when I try to build my project. Any ideas as to how I can fix this?

  i have a dll, built with mingw one of the header files contains this: extern "C" { int get_mac_address(char * mac); //the function returns a mac address in the char * mac } I use this dll in another c++ app, built using Visual C++ (2008SP1), not managed, but plain c++ (simply include the header, and call the function) But now I have to use it in a C# application The problem is that i can't figure out how exactly (i'm new in .net programming) this is what i've tried public class Hwdinfo { [DllImport("mydll.dll")] public static extern void get_mac_address(string s); } When i call the function, nothing happens (the mydll.dll file is located in the bin folder of the c# app, and it gives me no errors or warnings whatsoever)

• What does LAME text does in MP3 file?

  I see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MP3 that MP3 file consists of MP3 headers interchanged with MP3 data. MP3 header consist of few bytes. But here is my MP3 file dump with ID3 tag cut. Header is highlighted with blue. You can see that "LAME3.96" text is highlighted with green. What does it does there? Is this a part of MP3 elementary stream? Or this is the part of some headers I didn't tag?

• CFLAGS vs CPPFLAGS

  I understand that CFLAGS (or CXXFLAGS for C++) are for the compiler, whereas CPPFLAGS is used by the preprocessor. But I still don't understand the difference. I need to specify an include path for a header file that is included with #include -- because #include is a preprocessor directive, is the preprocessor (CPPFLAGS) the only thing I care about? Under what circumstances do I need to give the compiler an extra include path? In general, if the preprocessor finds and includes needed header files, why does it ever need to be told about extra include directories? What use is CFLAGS at all? (In my case, I actually found that BOTH of these allow me to compile my program, which adds to the confusion... I can use CFLAGS OR CPPFLAGS to accomplish my goal (in autoconf context at least). What gives?)

• $_GET loading content before head tag instead of in specified div.

The problem is that the content loads it displays UNDER the div i placed #CONTENT# inside so the styles are being ignored and it's posting #CONTENT# outside the divs at positions 0,0 any suggestions? Found out whats happening by using "View Source" seems that it's putting all of the #CONTENT#, content that's being loaded in front of the <head> tag. • fixed vertical positioning of css within an iframe

  I am trying to get my bottom header to stick to the bottom of the screen inside of my iframe application and have it always appear in view for the user even when the page is scrolling. I have no control over the outer iframe as it is on a different domain. The header itself must be inside of the iframe as I have no control outside the iframe. The iframe always expands to the height of its contents so that it has no scrollbars, but the bar still has to be visible in the viewport at all times.

• PHP auto refresh page without losing user input

  I'm working on a PHP collaboration software project. I have a page that shows the latest updates from other users who are adding content to the database, but also has a form input to allow the user to enter text. I am currently using this code to refresh the page automatically every 30 seconds: header('Refresh: 30'); The problem is that the header code refreshes the entire page, and not just what is pulled from the database. Is there any PHP code that will just pull any new data from the database without refreshing the entire page? If someone could point me in the right direction I'd appreciate it.

• PHP: Infinity loop and Time Limit!

  Hi, I have a piece of code that fetches data by giving it an ID. If I give it an ID of 1230 for example, the code fetches an article data with an ID of 1230 from a web site (external) and insert it into a DB. Now, the problem is that I need to fetch all the articles, lets say from ID 00001 to 99999. If a do a 'for' loop, after 60 seconds the PHP internal time limit stops the loop. If a use some kind of header("Location: code.php?id=00001") or header("Location: code.php?id=".$ID) and increase $ID++ and then redirect to the same page the browser stops me because of the infinite loop or redirection problem. Please HELP!

  i have this controller(visits.php) that use 3 models to build page, then it pass 4 vars to a view. this view contain a form that submit to another page (add_user.php) my question is how can i send the user back to visits.php in case the for_validation is false ? do i have to reload visits.php allover again ?-waste of resourss- or i should just send him back in history with js or php header for example ? can u plz show me an example of how u best handle false result of form_validation ?   Hi there.. So I have never attempted to use a cookie and was wondering if someone could possibly help me with some functionality I am trying to achieve.. Essentially I have a jQuery function that is fired when a user visits a webpage. What I would like to do is make it to where that animation only plays once.. Possibly leveraging some cookie that would tell it not to play again for x amount of days. I noticed that alot of people having questions about cookies and jQuery have been mentioned the following cookie plugin, but I dont even really know how to leverage it. Any ideas? Right now the animation is: $('#header, #footer, #secondary-column').fadeTo(600, 1); I would assume that if I could set a cookie to tell it the following: $('#header, #footer, #secondary-column').fadeTo(0, 1);

• Autoconf -- including a static library (newbie)

  I am trying to migrate my application from manual build to autoconf, which is working very nicely so far. But I have one static library that I can't figure out how to integrate. That library will NOT be located in the usual library locations - the location of the binary (.a file) and header (.h file) will be given as a configure argument. (Notably, even if I move the .a file to /usr/lib or anywhere else I can think of, it still won't work.) It is also not named traditionally (it does not start with "lib" or "l"). Manual compilation is working with these (directory is not predictable - this is just an example): gcc ... -I/home/john/mystuff /home/john/mystuff/helper.a (Uh, I actually don't understand why the .a file is referenced directly, not with -L or anything. Yes, I have a half-baked understanding of building C programs.) So, in my configure.ac, I can use the relevant configure argument to successfully find the header (.h file) using AC_CHECK_HEADER. Inside the AC_CHECK_HEADER I then add the location to CPFLAGS and the #include of the header file in the actual C code picks it up nicely. Given a configure argument that has been put into $location and the name of the needed files are helper.h and helper.a (which are both in the same directory), here is what works so far: AC_CHECK_HEADER([$location/helper.h], [AC_DEFINE([HAVE_HELPER_H], [1], [found helper.h]) CFLAGS="$CFLAGS -I$location"]) Where I run into difficulties is getting the binary (.a file) linked in. No matter what I try, I always get an error about undefined references to the function calls for that library. I'm pretty sure it's a linkage issue, because I can fuss with the C code and make an intentional error in the function calls to that library which produces earlier errors that indicate that the function prototypes have been loaded and used to compile. I tried adding the location that contains the .a file to LDFLAGS and then doing a AC_CHECK_LIB but it is not found. Maybe my syntax is wrong, or maybe I'm missing something more fundamental, which would not be surprising since I'm a newbie and don't really know what I'm doing. Here is what I have tried: AC_CHECK_HEADER([$location/helper.h], [AC_DEFINE([HAVE_HELPER_H], [1], [found helper.h]) CFLAGS="$CFLAGS -I$location"; LDFLAGS="$LDFLAGS -L$location"; AC_CHECK_LIB(helper)]) No dice. AC_CHECK_LIB is looking for -lhelper I guess (or libhelper?) so I'm not sure if that's a problem, so I tried this, too (omit AC_CHECK_LIB and include the .a directly in LDFLAGS), without luck: AC_CHECK_HEADER([$location/helper.h], [AC_DEFINE([HAVE_HELPER_H], [1], [found helper.h]) CFLAGS="$CFLAGS -I$location"; LDFLAGS="$LDFLAGS -L$location/helper.a"]) To emulate the manual compilation, I tried removing the -L but that doesn't help: AC_CHECK_HEADER([$location/helper.h], [AC_DEFINE([HAVE_HELPER_H], [1], [found helper.h]) CFLAGS="$CFLAGS -I$location"; LDFLAGS="$LDFLAGS $location/helper.a"]) I tried other combinations and permutations, but I think I might be missing something more fundamental....

• Silly Objective-C inheritance problem when using property

  I've been scratching my head with this for a couple of hours - I haven't used inheritance much. Here I have set up a simple Test B class that inherits from Test A, where an ivar is declared. But I get the compilation error that the variable is undeclared. This only happens when I add the property and synthesize declarations - works fine without them.
