  • IoC Dependancy injection into Custom HTTP Module - how? (ASP.NET)

However, of course I don't get a constructor, so can't inject it into that. What's the best way to go about this? That is easy enough using map.root in my routes.rb. However when I do this any links to http://localhost/reports/main/this_month are now shortened to just http://localhost. EDIT To avoid common answers that show how to load images from a URL: i already know how to do that, i have also posted the code above, so why do you keep referencing tutorials on that? I explicitly was very clear about the problem: Why is HttpClient.execute(...)already fetching the whole content and storing it in memory instead of providing a proper ÌnputStreamto me? Please don't post any beginner tutorials on how to load aBitmap`from a URL...

    An XML file is being posted to a url that my spring mvc is responding to. In .NET, I could do this: request.Form[0] request.Form["abc"] or request.QueryString[0] request.QueryString["some_key"] Now with spring/servlets it seems I can only do this: request.getParameter("some_key") or get all the names or values. When someone is posting a file to a url, using http post, won't this be just a single request parameter then? Can I get the parameter using index with servlets?

  • Compressing ASPX pageview in code or compress HTTP in IIS?

    In the past, with pages with large viewstate I have overridden the PageStatePersister class so when the state is saved I compress it. On Load I decompress it. I have haven't really thought about it, but could IIS handle something like this better? The reason I did this was to keep my pages slimmer because I have a lot of custom controls on the page and the viewstate was huge.   • Opening a streaming connection to an HTTP server on iPhone/Cocoa environment?

    I've been using NSURLConnection to do a HTTP post to establish the connection. I've also implemented the didReceiveData delegagate to process incoming bytes as they become available. As incoming data comes in via didReceiveData, I add the NSData to a data buffer and try parsing the bytesteam if enough data has come in to complete a message segment. I'm having a hard time managing the data buffer (NSMutableData object) to remove bytes that have been parsed to structs. Was curious if there's an easier way. Thanks

  • if curl getinfo for HTTP CODE is not returning a code!?

    Hi, I am doing a normal curl call to a webservice and I grab the return HTTP code through $code = curl_getinfo ($ch, CURLINFO_HTTP_CODE); It does return me $code as 200 - which is good. But logging the curl calls now from a week, there where few calls to the same webservice which didn't return anything! so basically I am getting $code as blank. Can someone tell me what should be going wrong under those scenarios, and if can debug it more!? Thanks, Tanmay

Actually these OOB list forms bind hands of developers for the customization. It gives headache to developers to add just one post back event, for a dropdown field and to populate other fields in NewForm.aspx or EditForm.aspx. On top of that clients always ask such stuff. So here I am going to give you guys a flight for SharePoint Customization world. In this blog, I will explain, how to create CustomListForm WebPart. In my next blogs, I am going to explain easy deployment of List Forms through features and last, guidance on using SharePoint web controls. 1.       First thing, create a class library project through Visual Studio and inherit the class with WebPart class.     public class CustomListForm : WebPart   2.       Declare the public variables and properties which we are going to use throughout the class. Additionally, the “ControlMode” property tells compiler that which mode (display/edit/new) controls need to be rendered with. In display mode, it will render label with field value. Please note that, it’s not always the case when dropdown field will be rendered for Lookup field or Choice field. You need to understand which controls are rendered for which list fields.   • axis2 web service behave differently when tested with web service client or with local test class

    Hello I need to update a facade to some web service proxy classes to a third party web service, and expose them as a service. This for two reason : to maintain the same interface for all application that need to use the system : actually its migrating and there are a few differences in the third party ws (method names); and to expose a simplified interface. The third party has provided me with a manual and some pregenerated proxy classes to their service (the java file says generated with axis2 1,4) . I've used netbeans 6.8 and the axis2 plugin to create an axis2 service . This service contains the proxy classes and the facade class which instantiate the web service proxy and calls its method; the facade class is exposed as service. I've used axis2 1.4 (at beginnig and later 1.5 ) and tomcat 6.0. The first test i did was to call the facede methods from inside the project itself and it worked. Then i've created a new project with a jax-ws web service client to call my class deployed on axis2. At this point has happened two strange thing : In the axis2 services page has appeared the third party proxy class as if it were a new service (if i try to get the wsdl axis raises an error ). eg. the proxy interface is named WebServiceAPI (_stub is the concrete class) and , after the first call to my service , i find a new "WebServicesAPI1272968932531_1" service inside axis . The call obvoiusly fail i've began to sniff soap messages with wireshark and i've found they differs when using proxy classes direclty from my facade test class by the messages created after being deployed on axis. i've noticed they differs for the presence of the soap header in the failing message. any help would be greatly appreciated : maybe i messed up something, there might be some incompatibilities or version mistakes? below i've added the signature of the third party proxy, its impementation and the different soap messages: /* * WebServicesAPI.java * This file was auto-generated from WSDL * by the Apache Axis2 version: 1.4 Built on : Apr 26, 2008 (06:24:30 EDT) */ package com.ibm.eci.wsapi;     I am creating a form designer. It will generate PHP code which will produce an HTML form. Users will fill in fields and the PHP will store user input in a MySql database (and, of course, they can use the designer to generate forms which query the database). I am using Borland C++ Builder (very similar to Delphi & and you can get the same idea from VB, MSVC, Qt ... any IDE with a RAD GUI designer). Looking at the W3C page http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_forms.asp it seems that the components I can use for my form and retrieve data from are - edit box / TEdit / <input type="text" - memo / TMemo / <input type="textarea" - check box / TCheckBox / <input type="CheckBox" - Combo box / TComboBox / <select ... <option... - Radio group / TRadioGroup / <input type="radio" - Group box / TGroupBox / <fieldset ... <legend ... - Panel / TPanel / <fieldset ... I am unsure whether to allow button / TButton/ input type="button" - other than a single submit button which my form designer program automatically adds to the end of the generated form. But my real question is - did I miss any? It might be nice to have masked edit which only accepts numbers, or maybe some form of "spin control" (TUpDown, or slider + linked read only TEdit), so that the user can click & hold to increment/decrement an integer value. And a calendar component would be nice. Very important: I want to implement it all server-side in PHP, so no client-side JS or Ajax or the likes. If there anything else that I can add to make my generated forms look more impressive in the browser?
