    Hello I have a ListView in my WinForms application. ListWiew has 4 columns. So i want to write string in fourth column on every LisViewItem. When i try it. foreach (ListViewItem item in lvData.Items) { item.SubItems[3].Text ="something"; } i get an exception InvalidArgument=Value of '4' is not valid for 'index'.   • Should a Stack have a maximum size?

    I'm practicing my knowledge of ADTs by implementing some data structures, even if most already exist. With Stacks, a lot of books and other documentation I've read talk about the stack throwing an error when you try to add an element but the stack is full. In a java implementation (or any other), should I specifically keep track of a maximum stack size (from constructor), check to see if that size is reached, and throw an overflow exception if it is? Or is not such a big deal?

  • Problems using FluentNHibernate + SQLite with .NET4?

    I have a WPF application running with VS2010 .Net3.5 using Nhibernate with FluentNHibernate + SQLite, and all works fine. Now I want to change to use .Net4, but this has turned into a more painful experience then I expected.. When setting up the connection a FluentConfigurationException is thrown from FluentConfiguration.BuildConfiguration saying: An invalid or incomplete configuration was used while creating a SessionFactory. Check PotentialReasons collection, and InnerException for more details. The inner exception gives us more information: Could not create the driver from NHibernate.Driver.SQLite20Driver, NHibernate, Version=2.1.2.4000, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=aa95f207798dfdb4. It has an InnerException again: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. Which again has an InnerException: The IDbCommand and IDbConnection implementation in the assembly System.Data.SQLite could not be found. Ensure that the assembly System.Data.SQLite is located in the application directory or in the Global Assembly Cache. If the assembly is in the GAC, use element in the application configuration file to specify the full name of the assembly. Now - to me it sounds like it doesn't find System.Data.SQLite.dll, but I can't understand this. Everywhere this is referenced I have "Copy Local", and I have verified that it is in every build folder for projects using SQLite. I have also copied it manually to every Debug folder of the solution - without luck. Notes: This is exactly the same code that worked just fine before I upgraded to .Net4. I did see some x64 x86 mismatch problems earlier, but I have switched to use x86 as the target platform and for all referenced dlls. I have verified that all files in the Debug-folder are x86. I have tried the precompiled Fluent dlls, I have tried compiling myself, and I have compiled my own version of Fluent using .Net4. I see that there are also others that have seen this problem, but I haven't really seen any solution yet. After @devio's answer I tried adding a reference to the SQLite dll. This didn't change anything, but I hope I made it right though..   • ASP.NET 2.0 files work in one folder, but NOT in another

    I am about to leap of a building. I have created an app for a client and all the files are in a folder on their D drive. Now it is time to go production, so I copied all my files and folders to their excisting classic asp folder on the same drive. BUT NOTHING WORKS. The only difference I can see is that DEV does not require HTTPS like the production site. I also made sure all the permissions are the same on both folder. I made sure that the GAC has read rights using the aspnet_regiis tool. I am at the end of my debug knowlegde, could someone please help me out.   • Detecting when a handler couldn't be started when embedding Jetty

    I'm embedding Jetty in a similar manner as described here. When the RequestLogHandler can't open the specified logfile, it throws an exception which is unfortunately caught by org.eclipse.jetty.server.Server and swallowed (but logged first, at least). This means that there's no obvious way for me to tell if the log handler was started correctly. Is there a way that I'm missing to detect when a handler couldn't start?

    I am trying to call an old COM library from my XBAP and continue to receive the following exception: System.AccessViolationException was unhandled Message: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt. I have tried adding the HKLM value for RunUnrestricted to no avail. I don't get anything else but this error when calling the library. For commands it works fine, they are enabling or disabling correctly. But when i try to disable view and open perspective, that contains that view (myproject.view.input), it opened without that view, but also throws exception: !STACK 1 org.eclipse.ui.PartInitException: Could not create view: myproject.view.input at org.eclipse.ui.internal.ViewFactory.createView(ViewFactory.java:158) I can show full stacktrace if anyone want. I tried to debug my application and before i open my perspective whith that view, i checked currentState of my CommandState source provider, and all seemes to be ok: all variables values are correct and myproject.view.input.active = DISABLED Can anyone say, why exception is thrown? I did find ava_pid14941.hprof in working directory, but didn't find any file which contains thread dump. I need to know what all the threads were doing when I got this OutOfMemory error. Is there any configuration option which will generate thread dump in addition to heap dump on out of memory exception?

    Hey, if I try to connect to a Terracotta server that is currently down by calling net.sf.ehcache.CacheManager.create();, EHCache keeps retrying connection attempts for a full 300 seconds before throwing an exception with this message: Could not fetch configuration data from the server at 'terracottahost:9510'. Fetch attempt duration: 300 seconds. Is there any way to modify this time to be maybe 30 or 60 seconds? Thank you!
