Is there a program that I can use to encrypt my flash drive? I would like to be able to access data from any computer, however, so the program will probably have to reside on the flash drive.

I cannot really find if this CPU is already core2 architecture... Only find information about the quad core variants, but this CPU is only dual core.
I've looked online and can't seem to find a proper answer.
We have a client that requires very sensitive data be stored in a database. Is there a hosting company that provides high-level database security (this is for a bank).
Good morning;
We've been having intermittent power supplies failures in our data center that have been preliminarily attributed to "zinc whiskers". I'm just starting to read about them (I just Googled the term and started picking stuff), and I'm interested in others experiences with them and any cleanup and recovery experiences. Thanks!
What are the possible data cable types to connect DVD writer to motherboard? What are the differences between them? Do I have to use only one type for a writer or is it optional?
My motherboard is GigaByte P43-ES3G and my DVD writer is LG GH22NP20.

I have a spreadsheet which I know for certain has a large amount of hidden rows which are correctly hiding on my colleagues machines, and were correctly hiding on mine two days ago, but this morning I find the hidden flag is being ignored and all that hidden data is rendered.
Is there some checkbox, configuration option, or function key I have accidentally pressed or need to press?
We have our helpdesk staff making small articles with Interspire Web Pushlisher, and would like to move that system over to Wordpress. Wordpress seems to be able to import data directly from most blogging platforms directly, but IWP is not one of them. Since they are both PHP-based i figure there has to be an easier way than c-c c-v over and over. Any ideas?
PowerTop application provides C-state data and p-state data , but i'm not sure which CPUcore that data pertains to. And if I'd like to obtain PowerTop data fro each CPU core, how can I accoplish that ?
I have a FreeBSD 8.0 amd64 box w/ 1 ATA drive for system and 4 SATA drives as a RAIDZ pool. The ATA drive isn't mirrored nor part of any pool, but also doesn't hold any valuable data.
How can I recover my zpool if this ATA drive fails for any reason, but assume my RAIDZ vdev SATA drives remain intact? Should I also use at least a mirror configuration for that?
Hi.
Because I build a RAID 5 atm, I wanted to ask, what would happen if the server with a raid 5 in it (like 4-5 hdds) would have a power supply damage? Can I just switch the power supply and my data is safe and backup again or will there be a raid damage as well?
Thanks in advance.
Regards.
I'm looking to find a way to sync my calendar on my Blackberry with my google apps calendar without using a wireless data plan by plugging the blackberry into my computer via usb and finding some medium there.

My Windows NT account name was changed, and when starting PuTTY it now appears that my saved session information has been lost.
The FAQ suggests that PuTTY sessions should be stored in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SimonTatham\PuTTY.
Wikipedia explains that HKCU maps to NTUSER.DAT and USRCLASS.DAT under the current user's Desktop and Settings folder.
I still have these files for my old account name, but I'm guessing there is no easy way to extract data from these files?
I'm looking to buy a new laptop (the new studio 14 from Dell). The processor for this laptop is an Intel Core i5-520M.
Think link http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-31012_7-10379487-10355804.html says that it supports only 1 CPU.
Also Dell recommend the Professionnal version even tough Home Premium is the default choice. So I'm a little confuse as does Windows 7 Home Premium support Dual Core Processors ?
Hello,
I have Data protection manager (DPM) 2010.
I did a backup of my system which has been saved into different partitions.
The computer running DPM crashed and is not allowing me to restore the backup. However, i still have all the backups as partitions.
How can I restore the multiple protection groups from the physical existing partitions?
I have been researching the msdn documentation for a solution, but no luck so far.
Thanks for your help
I'm looking for some freeware software to view gps data with. In particular I'm interesting in something that can keep track of my walking, cycling and driving separately and display graphs/summaries of average speeds and distance travelled. (Windows 7)
I was just wondering about the CPU usage while downloading data (say, for example, a movie) from the internet. Can anyone tell me, how much is a processor really in use while downloading and, in the first place, is a processor even really required during download?
Hi,
I was asked to drop some tables on a Company SQL 2005 Server and provide proof of deletion because of these tables contains sensitive data. Is it possible?
Thank you all for help
I have Ubuntu 9.10 installed inside VM of server 2008.

I have 3GB RAM attached to the Ubuntu
I'm hoping for more than just exporting the data, I would like to preserve the relation between the databases. This is for a friend's legacy database that tracks monthly fees from a list of clients.
I have the original FM database file on hand, but not the machine it ran on with the old version of Filemaker 2. Recent versions won't import it, saying it's too old.
If there is a Mac-only solution that would make things simpler for me.
My company already has a "local" backup strategy, but is willing to also backup data on our remote dedicated server as an additional "plus".
Some info:
Both machines are Windows Server (client is 2003, server is 2008)
Administrator rights on both machines
Valid SSL Certificate available
FTP/IIS Server available and in use
Required cryptation during transfer & storage
Free space is not a problem
Which software (both client and server side) you advice us to take?
