• Add a prefix do Django comment form

  I would like to add a prefix to each django comment form. I'm using multiply comment forms in the same page and depsite it's working well, i don't like having many input fields with the same id attribute like <input type="text" name="honeypot" id="id_honeypot" />. So, is there a way to tell django do add a prefix to each form instance? I know i can do it with other forms when i create a form instance in this waynewform = CustomForm(prefix="a") but using Django's comment system, this part is handled by a comment template tag {% get_comment_form for [object] as [varname] %}. Can I tell to the template tag to add a prefix?

ToList().ForEach(x => Console.WriteLine(x)); and explained you can have (i) anonymous array (ii) extension method (iii)lambda and closure all in a single line.I got spot offer. But..... The interviewer asked me how will you convert an anonymous type into know type :( I am 100% sure ,we can not do that.The interviewer replied there is 200% chance to do that if you have a small work around.I was clueless. • Are JSF 2.x ViewScoped Beans Thread Safe?

  I've been googling for a couple hours on this issue to no eval. WELD docs and the CDI spec are pretty clear regarding thread safety of the scopes provided. For example: Application Scope - not safe Session Scope - not safe Request Scope - safe, always bound to a single thread Conversation Scope - safe (due to the WELD proxy serializing access from multiple request threads) I can't find anything on the View Scope defined by JSF 2.x. It is in roughly the same bucket as the Conversation Scope in that it is very possible for multiple requests to hit the scope concurrently despite it being bound to a single view / user. What I don't know is if the JSF implementation serializes access to the bean from multiple requests. Anyone have knowledge of the spec or of the Morraja/MyFaces implementations that could clear this up?

• Linq to Sql Data class in dbml

  I am abit curious about dbml.... Should I create one dbml file for one database or separated into different parts e.g. User dbml (only tables relate to users) etc? When I do this I will have abit of problems. Assume the User dbml has a User table and if the Order dbml has a User table as well, this won't be allowed if the entity namespace are the same. If I have set a different entity namespace for each of the dbml, it works but this will gives me a different entity of User table. When a single data returns to Business Logic layer, there is a difficulty of knowing which entity namespace of the user table to be used. If I built one dbml file instead of having separate dbml, will single dbml appear slower than the separated dbml version when fetching the data from the database.

• How do I share a Hibernate SessionFactory across web applications?

  I have two web applications that are running on a single Tomcat server and are connected to the same database with Hibernate. I am concerned that having two SessionFactory instances running around might cause some issues. Also, since both web applications share much of the same application logic, I thought it would be a good idea to centralize as much as I could. And since I use Spring for DI and Hibernate configuration it would make sense to have a single ApplicationContext as well. How would I go about doing something like this? Do I need to deploy a headless WAR that creates an ApplicationContext and thus a SessionFactory and allow each application access to it? Is this even a good idea?

(+ one database per client) one instance for all clients (+ one database for all clients) Former one is simple, but... "inefficient". How about the latter? (best practises, design patterns) How to separate client data? For example: worker "A" of client "1" has two documents, worker "B" of client "2" has three documents. How to build model associations to protect other users (and clients) data? I think joining every query with Client model is not a good solution.

  I've been developing a Sharepoint web part, which had been working fine upon deployment. The web part has been developed with WSP Builder, packaged up and then deployed via stsadm. The web part has been deployed tens, if not a hundred times to the dev box with no problems. I have only one table in the data store: Participants { ID, FirstName, LastName, IsArtist, IsAuthor, IsTextWriter, } The idea is to have a class for all the roles that a participant can have. I've managed to create the edmx file but when I try to get an Participant (as Artist) that is also an Author I receive the following error: All objects in the EntitySet 'Participants' must have unique primary keys. However, an instance of type 'Artist' and an instance of type 'Author' both have the same primary key value, 'EntitySet=Participants;ID=1'. Thank you

  After building a project group of 2 projects with Delphi (2009) I digitally sign the 2 exes using InstallAware Code signing, an exe that shipped with Delphi 2009. How is it possible to automize the digital signature, so when I build I can also attach digital signature. For digital signing I use a pvk (private key) file and an spc (Sw publisher certificate) file. Subquestion: Moreover I created a project group because I have 2 exes, but they are almost the same, the only thing that changes is the Application icon and the application name (one is ProductOne.dpr, the other is ProductTwo.dpr). In practice I have 2 brands of the same product, I have a single build but activation keys details activate one or the other, anyway now I was asked to change the icon and the filename, and for this I need to build 2 projects, activation key is not enough anymore to distinguish between the 2. Anyway if there is a way to do this from a single project it would be better.

  Hello I'm new to JPA and using persistence in Java anyway and I have two questions I can't quite work out: I have generated tags as: @JoinColumn(name = "UserName", referencedColumnName = "UserName") @ManyToOne(optional = false) private User userName; @JoinColumn(name = "DatasetNo", referencedColumnName = "DatasetNo") @ManyToOne(optional = false) private Dataset datasetNo; But in one of the constructors for the class, no reference is made to columns UserName or DatasetNo whereas all other columns in the class are referenced in the constructor. Can anyone tell me why this is? Both columns UserName and DatasetNo are 'foreign keys' on the entity Visualisation which corresponds to a database table of the same name. I can't quite work out the ORM. And when using entity classes, or POJO, is it better to have class variables like: private User userName; Where an instance of a class is specified or simply the key of that class instance like: private String userName; Thanks Mr Morgan.

• How to make WordPress "Add/Edit Post" form more Tumblr like?

  Hi, WordPress requires you give each blog post at least two fields: a title and text body content. I'm wondering how to modify WordPress admin so I can sometimes enter a single field for a blog post, in particular a URL, without WordPress requiring a title (related but not the point of this question: a custom theme would then know how to handle a post that only contained a URL, it would treat it like a "Link" post in Tumblr). Ideally it'd be good if the "add/edit post" form could be modified so it only contains this single URL/Link field when this is wanted. I'm guessing this is possible through a plugin but I'm not certain. I'm hoping some smart WordPress devs are here to share and brainstorm ideas for how this could be done.   I seek a solution to the age-old problem of managing string resources. My current implementation seems to work well, but it depends on using singletons, and I know how often singletons can be maligned. The resource manager class has a singleton instance that handles lookups in the ResourceBundle, and you use it like so: MessageResources mr = MessageResources.getMessageResources(); // returns singleton instance ... JLabel helloLabel = new JLabel(mr.getString("label.hello")); Is this an appropriate use of a singleton? Is there some better, more universally used approach that I'm not aware of? I understand that this is probably a bit subjective, but any feedback I can get would be appreciated. I'd rather find out early on that I'm doing it wrong than later on in the process. Thanks!

  I have the interesting problem of representing complex schedule data in a database. I need to be able to represent the entirety of what the iCalendar (ics) format can represent, but in my database. I don't care about insertion efficiency but query efficiency is critical. The operation I will be doing most often is providing either a single date/time or a date/time range, and trying to determine if the defined schedule matches any part of the date/time range. Other operations can be slower. For those unfamiliar, ics allows representation of a single event or a reoccuring event based on multiple times per day, days of the week, week of a month, month, year, or some combination of those. For example, the third Thursday in November, or the 25th of December, or every two weeks starting November 2nd and continuing until September the following year. Any suggestions?

The core part is fairly simple, we have a base set of fields for the object - first name, last name, birth date, city, etc. In addition however we need to accept a list of items associated with that object that can range from 0-n.   Getting attributes using minidom in Python, one uses the "attributes" property. e.g. node.attributes["id"].value So if I have <a id="foo"></a>, that should give me "foo". node.attributes["id"] does not return the value of the named attribute, but an xml.dom.minidom.Attr instance. But looking at the help for Attr, by doing help('xml.dom.minidom.Attr'), nowhere is this magic "value" property mentioned. I like to learn APIs by looking at the type hierarchy, instance methods etc. Where did this "value" property come from?? Why is it not listed in the Attr class' page? The only data descriptors mentioned are isId, localName and schemaType. Its also not inherited from any superclasses. Since I'm new to Python, would some of the Python gurus enlighten?

• Can't set background colour for UIView from ViewController

Do I have to subclass the view and do it in there? I'd prefer not to have the extra class, even though that is better separation of the whole model/view/controller thing. Update: value returned by [themer backgroundColour] is constructed using colorWithPatternImage:, could this make a difference?

• C++ library for dealing with multiple HTTP connections

  Hi, I'm looking for a library to deal with multiple simultaneous HTTP connections (pref. on a single thread) to use in C++ in Windows so it can be Win32 API based. So far, I have tried cURL (multi interface) which seems to be the most appropriate that I have found but my problem is that I may have a queue of 200 requests but I need to only run 4 of them at a time. This becomes problematic when one request may take 2 seconds and another may take 2 mins as you have to wait on all handles and receive the result of all requests in one block. If anyone knows a way round this it would be very useful. I have also tried rolling my own using WinHTTP but I need to throttle the requests so they would ideally need to be on a single thread and use callbacks for data which WinHTTP does not do. The best thing I've found which would solve all my problems is ASIHTTPRequest but unfortunately it's Mac OSX only. Thanks, J

  Hello. What is the maximum number of VirtualHosts Apache can handle on a single machine (I don't mean anything related to load, let's suppose it's irrelevant for the question). And we take only Apache without any proxifying things like nginx. I am asking because on one forum one guy reported that his Apache works unstable with the number of sites more than 400 on a single machine. If you have a config, that handles more than 400, please tell me here. Thanks.

  This question expands upon the one at abstract-class-numberformat-very-confused-about-getinstance. I feel that this question is different enough to merit being asked on its own. In the answers to that question, it was stated that a code statement such as NumberFormat en = NumberFormat.getInstance(Locale.US); returns an object that is a subclass of the java.text.NumberFormat class. It makes sense to me why the return type can't be just an instance of NumberFormat since that is an abstract class. Rather, it was stated that the returned object is at least an instance of NumberFormat, but actually something else. My question is this: what specifically is the class of the object that is returned? In the Sun documentation the only subclasses I see are ChoicesFormat and DecimalFormat. Is there some sort of behind the scenes compiler voodoo going on here? Thanks in advance!
