• Windows XP Home Edition SP3 cant recognise PCMIA SD Card

  System Specifications: Laptop : Dell Inspiron 6000 OS: Windows Home Edition SP3 SD Adapter: Hagiwara Smart Media Adapter I inserted the card into the slot, windows xp recognises the device, lists the pcmia controller on the device manager list, an entry appears under the IDE ATA/ATAPI category on the device manager as well. However, the device does not show under my computer and the driver does not get assigned a letter number. I checked the system logs from the device manager and there were no logged errors. Checking the Hagiwara support website, the manufacturer indicates that the adapter driver is the same as the windows xp pcmia controller. Checking Dell's website, no specific drivers were listed for that either. General Search on the web indicates that multiple people face similar problems with their SD cards, yet none actually spell out the route issue that causes this. Please let me know if you have any suggestions for further debugging. Thanks in advance

  Am rather new to this world of htaccess redirects.Am trying to force all redirects in my Zend MVC to my https but I get a requested URL not found error on requests that dont go though the index controller Example https://www.example.com/auth/register gives a requested URL /auth/register not found error. However if I remove the https redirect rule it works fine over http. If I adjust the URL to https://www.example.com/index.php/auth/register it works fine. The URL https://www.example.com/index/faq works just fine since it goes through the index controller. • Codeigniter Routes for filename with extension

  I am using codeigniter and its routes system successfully with some lovely regexp, however I have come unstuck on what should be an easy peasy thing in the system. I want to include a bunch of search engine related files (for Google webmaster etc.) plus the robots.txt file, all in a controller. So, I have create the controller and updated the routes file and don't seem to be able to get it working with these files. Here's a snip from my routes file: $route['robots\.txt|LiveSearchSiteAuth\.xml'] = 'search_controller/files'; Within the function I use the URI helper to figure out which content to show. Now I can't get this to match, which points to my regexp being wrong. I'm sure this is a really obvious one but its late and my caffeine tank is empty :)

  I would like to implement a toggle splitbutton with jQuery UI that would on toggle action change the style of the "dropdown" part as well (as seen in http://jsfiddle.net/8khz2/3/ - I'd like to appear it on 1st click as white, same as "Toggle" button does). Does anyone see a way to achieve that out of the box or only with CSS, without additional javascript code? Somehow I don't see an option doing it only with CSS, since I can not nest the "dropdown" button in "Toggle", since toggle part is checkbox: <input type="checkbox" id="toggle"/><label for="toggle">Toggle</label> <button id="select">Select an action</button> The jsfiddle example is based on: http://jqueryui.com/button/#splitbutton

• How can I fix this NavigationController and UIToolbar offset issue in Objective-C?

  I'm adding a couple of buttons to an already-existing NavigationController. The two buttons are added to a UIView, which is pushed onto the NavigationItem. The buttons stop and reload a UIWebView. Problem is that there's a slight offset issue that is making it all look pretty ugly. I wish I could set the UIToolbar to transparent or clear background but that doesn't seem to be an option. Can't seem to use negative offsets either. I've got color matching, but if you look closely there's 1px or 2px of highlighting up top that's causing a visual mismatch and then a slight offset at the bottom. Some relevant code below (based on this, inbound Googlers). • Updating to Spring 2.5.5 causes a javax.servlet.UnavailableException: org.springframework.web.struts

  I have been told to update some application from Spring 2.0.8 to Spring 2.5.5. This application is using Struts 1.2.7. Once I change the Spring.jar I get the following exception while loading in JBoss 4.0.5: 10:14:57,579 ERROR [[/PortalRRHH]] Servlet /PortalRRHH threw load() exception javax.servlet.UnavailableException: org.springframework.web.struts.DelegatingTilesRequestProcessor This is defined in the struts-config.xml this way: <controller locale="true"> <set-property property="processorClass" value="org.springframework.web.struts.DelegatingTilesRequestProcessor"/> </controller> I have no clue of what is happening since it works with the old version of Spring and the DelegatingTilesRequestProcessor is still available in Spring 2.5.5. • Can't get a LiveFolder to launch my activity like it should

  I was able to create a ContentProvider for a LiveFolder, but I can't seem to be able to create my intents correctly, so it always gives "Application is not installed on your phone" errors when clicking on items inside the folder. My Activity is defined like so, in the manifest: <activity android:name=".MyActivity"> <intent-filter> <action android:name="android.intent.action.VIEW" /> <category android:name="android.intent.category.DEFAULT" /> </intent-filter> </activity> Then, I create the intents I place in the LiveFolders.INTENT column like this: i = new Intent(); i.setAction(null); i.setClassName("my.package.here", ".MyActivity"); I don't get why this is not working. Maybe I'm making some stupid mistake, but please point me in the right direction.

• Why is my UIImageView blurred?

  I have a really weird problem with UIImageView. I have an image (an RGB png) 45x45 pixels which I add to the view. I can see that image is blurred after added to the view.   I have been developing in classic ASP for about 2.5 years and I am trying to update my skill set to include ASP.NET MVC. What is the MVC way of executing SSIs? IE: How can I include a database drawn navigation list in a sidebar? I have been looking into partial views, but they seem to get their content from the controller. As far as I can tell this means that I would need to write each controller to pass the navigation list. Am I thinking along the right lines?

  Hi there, I'm using JSF (Mojarra 1.2) with Richfaces (3.3.2) within some facelets which are used as portlets (I'm using the Jboss Portlet Bridge 2.0 here). Now I'm facing something strange: I've got an actionlistener on my <h:commandButton> which is triggered, when the button is clicked but when I simply reload the page, the action is executed everytime I load the page again. This happens only if I already triggered the action before. Is this behaviour normal? I should notice that Spring 2.5 is used to manage my beans, the mentioned beans are session-scope beans, maybe this is a interessting point?!

  Hey all, I was wondering if anyone has any idea how I can add Content Controls to a Word Document (Office 2007) from the Document Task/Action Pane via C#. The goal is the following: I want to have categorized information in the Task/Action Pane and have the user fill out the info there. Once they have filled out that information they'll click on a button and it will insert content Controls into the Word Document that has that Data. The reason I want to use Content Controls is because the data will be bound to a database. Is this possible? I would like links that do this without WordProcessingML or OpenXML. There has to be a way to do this via server side code and such that doesn't require long blocks of ,, etc. Thanks!

• Submitting a form on 'Enter' with jQuery?

  I have a bog-standard login form - an email text field, a password field and a submit button on an AIR project that's using HTML/jQuery. When I hit Enter on the form, the entire form's contents vanish, but the form isn't submitted. Does anyone know if this is a Webkit issue (Adobe AIR uses Webkit for HTML), or if I've bunged things up? I tried: $('.input').keypress(function(e){ if(e.which == 13){ $('form#login').submit(); } }); But that neither stopped the clearing behavior, or submitted the form. There's no action associated with the form - could that be the issue? Can I put a javascript function in the action?

  I am trying to call the RenderAction Extension Method within my own Html Helper: System.Web.Mvc.Html.ChildActionExtensions.RenderAction(helper, "account", "login"); this is so that along with some additional logic, I would like all html helpers to use a common method name structure when calling it on the view: <%= Html.CompanyName().RenderAccount() %> but the problem I am having is that, asp.net will complain about not finding the actual route it needs to process. It does not take in the parameters of "controller" to be used as the action and "login" to be used as the action. It seems to only reference the current route. Any ideas how I can package up the RenderAction?

• Loading an OverlayView from XIB -vs- programmatically for use with UIImagePickerController

  I am currently making a camera app for iPhone and I have a strange phenomenon that I can't figure out. I would appreciate some help understanding. When recreating an overlay view for passing to UIImagePickerController, I have been successfully been able to create the view programmatically. What I haven't been able to do is create the view with/without controller in IB, load it and pass it to the overlay pointer successfully. If I do it via IB, the view is not opaque and obscures the view of the camera completely. I can not figure out why. I was thinking that the normal view pointer might be assigned when loading from XIB and therefore overwrite the camera's view, but I have an example programmatically where view and overlayView are set equal in the controller class. Perhaps the load order is overwriting a pointer? Help would be appreciated... kind regards.

• ForceContext Queries method twice?

So I can clearly see when its accessed more than once in a minute. If I comment out the second contextSwitch line, it only goes up 1, if Its not, it displays the xml page but adds 2 minutes (being called twice somehow). Any ideas?

• Dismissing pickers and keyboards invoked by a UIWebView

  I am implementing an in-app browser using UIWebView, that shows an 'action' button up-top that - when tapped - scales the UIWebView and allows the user to perform some other actions. If, however, at the point of tapping this 'action' button, the user were entering some text on the webview, or using a picker to select an option from a drop-down list, then the webview gets scaled without dismissing the keyboard/picker. Apart from being ugly, this also obscures my main view and controls. So is there a way to make a UIWebView dismiss all associated input controls, such as keyboards/pickers, when asked to? I tried using [myWebView resignFirstResponder] but that didn't work. Any ideas? Thanks.

It is basically a jobs site with 3 levels: 1) Users - No registration and can view all jobs posted on the website 2) Posters - Need to register and login to post adverts 3) Admin - Need to register and login to post adverts and review postings before they go live Would you suggest I use the same Jobs controller for the three levels I mention above?   I have an actionlink that on click im passing a List of objects to a controller action. Example: View: Html.ActionLink("TestLink", "TestMethod", "Test", Model.SampleList, null) TestController: public ActionResult TestMethod(List sampleList) { return View(sampleList); } When I do this I get a null sampleList. I can pass a single complex object fine just not a collection of it. Do I need the correct routing for this? The reason I'm doing this is instead of passing an id and do a look up in the controller action, I just pass in the data.
