Now I loop through all the header nodes and I want to get the table rows which are adjacent to the respective header rows. foreach (HtmlNode node in headerNodes) { HtmlNodeCollection itemNodes = ??? } My question is that what I should write here so that for header row with text "Random Value 1" I get the item rows 1,2 and 3. Similarly for header row with text "Random Value 2" I get the item row 4,5 and 6 and so on.

  Hi All, I have a dimension with parent child hierarchy as shown in code block. The issue i am facing is if i have a filter on parent child dimension then drill through table does not show filtered data instead it shows all the data for that dimension.   In response to another question of mine, someone suggested that I avoid long lines in the code and to use PEP-8 rules when writing Python code. One of the PEP-8 rules suggested avoiding lines which are longer than 80 characters. I changed a lot of my code to comply with this requirement without any problems. However, changing the following line in the manner shown below breaks the code. Any ideas why? Does it have to do with the fact that what follows return command has to be in a single line? If I save this file as *.html and run this file in browser , the java script code automatically posts the form and the output is excel file. I want to be able to generate this file from a c# code which is not running in broswer. I tried mocking thr form post but its complicated and has various scenarios based on the original webrequest querystring. any pointers.... i know its not possible to probably run JS code that posts the form - from within c# code but still thought of chekcing if someone has done that.

  I've just started a new job and one of the things my new boss talked to me about was code longevity. I've always coded to make my code infinently extensible and adaptable. I figured that if someone was going to change my code in the future then it should be easy to do. But I never really had a clear idea on how far into the future that should be. So my new boss told me not to bother coding for anything more that 3 years into the future and his reasoning was that technology changes, programs expire etc. At first I was kinda taken aback and thought he was a whack job but the longer I think about it the more I'm warming to the concept. Does anyone else have an opinion on how far into the future you should code to?

JQuery functions are fired when the related elements are loaded, instead of complete pageload. This is a common practice to call a javascript function when page is loaded like window.onload = function(){ alert("Mindfire") } or Inside of which is the code that we want to run right when the page is loaded. Problematically, however, the Javascript code isn't run until all images are finished downloading (this includes banner ads). The reason for using window.onload in the first place is due to the fact that the HTML 'document' isn't finished loading yet, when you first try to run your code. • Simple jQuery code contains a syntax error that I can't find

  I've got this (remarkably) simple JavaScript function that is called when a user clicks a "Cancel" link: function hideNewUserPanel(){ $('#create_user_panel').slideUp('slow'); $('.right_interior_panel').slideDown('slow'); } And the code to add the handler: $(function(){ $('#cancel_create_user_btn').live('click', function(){ hideNewUserPanel(); } }); Functionally, everything works as expected. Trouble is, when I click the "Cancel" link, Firebug shows an error in the console: uncaught exception: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: # I've stepped through the code several times and the error appears at some point before the call to hideNewUserPanel(). At the risk of sounding like one of "those programmers" (the kind that claim to have found a bug in GCC and assume their own code is perfect), the exception is being thrown from somewhere within jQuery proper, so I assume the issue is in there. I'm using jQuery 1.3.2 (this is a legacy project using many jQuery plugins that will break if we update to 1.4.x). Is there anything obviously wrong with my code that I'm simply not seeing? This code is, frankly, very simple and I don't really see what the issue could be. Thanks!

If I use FULL JOIN I'll get no differences as substr(account.ACC,1,4) = substr(flex.ACC,1,4) are equal and others are equal and MINUS doesn't work because ID's different. Thanks.

My question is that will this code always work. I think there might be a issue in this code when two/or more threads add element to this list at the same point. In that case it while loop will never end and code will fail. Can anybody suggest a better way to do this? I am not very good at multithreading and don't know which concurrent collection i can use?   I have an HTML table displaying some information with a few rows. On each row, the user can click to reveal some additional rows that contains information related to the clicked row. Something like this: While the additional rows are being created with an AJAX request, a loading row is inserted right after the clicked row : Currently, everything works perfectly (drill down style), but I would like to add some animation to the loading row. I found a question ( this one ) that has a JSFiddle showing kind of what I want ( this fiddle ). I tried to implement something similar with CSS3 transitions, but I can't get it to work. Here's my simulated attempt ( fiddle only for deployment of the loading row ) using these transitions : -webkit-transition: height 0.1s ease-in-out; -moz-transition: height 0.1s ease-in-out; -ms-transition: height 0.1s ease-in-out; -o-transition: height 0.1s ease-in-out; transition: height 0.1s ease-in-out; Any thought on why my fiddle doesn't do any animation? Any other methods you would propose? Thanks!
