If today date is less than 15th then the first value would be the 15th of current month. What will be the best or a cleaner way to do this... (want to display in the dropdown) Thanks

  • How to make a floating (tooltip) control in Windows.Forms?

    - by Daren Thomas
The Scene: A (smallish) Form hosting a UserControl. The Plot: Whenever UserControl raises a hover event, display some (graphical) information in a tool tip fashion. When the user moves the mouse, fade them away again. Notes: I'd like to display more than one "tooltip", with each tooltip being a UserControl displaying information in a graphical manner. Not just text in a yellow box! Also, I'm using the Windows.Forms library.

  • Get Auto Increment value with MySQL query

    - by James Simpson
I currently have a database with over 6 million rows and growing. I currently do SELECT COUNT(id) FROM table; in order to display the number to my users, but the database is getting large and I have no need to store all of those rows except to be able to show the number. Is there a way to select the auto_increment value to display so that I can clear out most of the rows in the database? Using LAST_INSERT_ID() doesn't seem to work.

  • How do I gather TeamCity code coverage reports from multiple projects into one report?

    - by Loofer
We use the build in coverage application in TeamCity 6 (about to upgrade to 7.1) If we wish to see the code coverage (or other metrics) of a particular build it is fine as we can navigate to that build, but it would be great if we could pluck out a few interesting metrics from all/some of the current projects/build configurations and display them all together. For convenience I would expect the new display to be accessible from within TeamCity itself, however if there are solutions that require a separate solution we could look at them. Thanks

  • Ajax cross domain call

    - by jAndy
Hi Folks, I know about ajax cross-domain policy. So I can't just call "http://www.google.com" over a ajax HTTP request and display the results somewhere on my site. I tried it with dataType "jsonp", that actually would work, but I get a syntax error (obviously because the received data is not json formated) Is there any other possiblity to receive/display data from a foreign domain ? iFrames follow the same policy? Kind Regards --Andy

  • Passing Info From One View to Another

    - by 01010011
EDIT 1. The results of a query from my database are displayed on my view page. Next to each unique result is a button: // first_view.php <?php echo form_open('controller/method'); ?> <?php foreach($results_found as $item): ?> <p><?php echo $item->name ?></p> <p><?php form_submit('buy','Buy This'); ?></p> When a user clicks on one of these buttons (lets say button 4), I would like to display the user's choice from the array onto another view. I've tried using this: // first_view.php <?php echo $this->session->set_userdata('choice',$item); ?> immediately before // first_view.php <?php echo form_close(); ?> thinking that the user's final choice would be stored there so I can display it on another view like this: // second_controller.php $c = $this->session->userdata('choice'); // second_view.php echo 'Your Choose: '. $c; However, what actually displays is the last result displayed on first_view.php, not what the user choose. My question is, if the user clicked on button 4, how do I get that particular choice displayed onto another view? END OF EDIT1 ORIGINAL QUESTION My view page (CodeIgniter) displays the contents of an array in the form of several links. If a user clicks on a link, I want the user to be taken to another view page (via a controller) that gives more information concerning that particular link (which is stored in that particular position in the array) My question is, how do I access and display the contents of that particular location within the array on the second view file without getting a "Undefined variable error" on the second view? Here is what I am trying to do in code form // my_controller.php $array_name['variable_name']; $this->load->view('first_view.php'); // first_view.php <?php foreach($variable_name as $vn): ?> <?php echo anchor('controller_name' $vn->info ?> // if user clicks on 3rd link <?php endforeach ?> // I want to beable to access // index 2 of the array in the // second view file so I can // display more info // second_view.php <?php $vn[2]->info ?>

  • Changing the language for NSLocalizedString() in run time

    - by user117758
I have an iPhone application which has a button to change display language in run time. I have looked at NSLocalizedString() which will return the appropriate strings according to system preference. What are my options rather than hard coding all the display strings and return according to user language selection in run time? Any pointers will be much appreciated.

  • QValidator for hex input

    - by Evan Teran
I have a Qt widget which should only accept a hex string as input. It is very simple to restrict the input characters to [0-9A-Fa-f], but I would like to have it display with a delimiter between "bytes" so for example if the delimiter is a space, and the user types 0011223344 I would like the line edit to display 00 11 22 33 44 Now if the user presses the backspace key 3 times, then I want it to display 00 11 22 3. I almost have what i want, so far there is only one subtle bug involving using the delete key to remove a delimiter. Does anyone have a better way to implement this validator? Here's my code so far: class HexStringValidator : public QValidator { public: HexStringValidator(QObject * parent) : QValidator(parent) {} public: virtual void fixup(QString &input) const { QString temp; int index = 0; // every 2 digits insert a space if they didn't explicitly type one Q_FOREACH(QChar ch, input) { if(std::isxdigit(ch.toAscii())) { if(index != 0 && (index & 1) == 0) { temp += ' '; } temp += ch.toUpper(); ++index; } } input = temp; } virtual State validate(QString &input, int &pos) const { if(!input.isEmpty()) { // TODO: can we detect if the char which was JUST deleted // (if any was deleted) was a space? and special case this? // as to not have the bug in this case? const int char_pos = pos - input.left(pos).count(' '); int chars = 0; fixup(input); pos = 0; while(chars != char_pos) { if(input[pos] != ' ') { ++chars; } ++pos; } // favor the right side of a space if(input[pos] == ' ') { ++pos; } } return QValidator::Acceptable; } }; For now this code is functional enough, but I'd love to have it work 100% as expected. Obviously the ideal would be the just separate the display of the hex string from the actual characters stored in the QLineEdit's internal buffer but I have no idea where to start with that and I imagine is a non-trivial undertaking. In essence, I would like to have a Validator which conforms to this regex: "[0-9A-Fa-f]( [0-9A-Fa-f])*" but I don't want the user to ever have to type a space as delimiter. Likewise, when editing what they types, the spaces should be managed implicitly.

  • Align div boxes next to each other

    - by Mestika
Hi everyone, I’ve two div boxes that I’m using as a expand-collapse with some javascript but the problem is that they currently are align underneath each other. I would like to have them next to each other instead but I’ve run into a wall. My styles look like this: <style type="text/css"> body { font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 11px; color: #666666; } a{color:#993300; text-decoration:none;} #caja, #caja2 { width:30%; display: none; padding:5px; border:2px solid #FADDA9; background-color:#FDF4E1; } #mostrar, #mostrar2{ display:block; width:30%; padding:5px; border:2px solid #D0E8F4; background-color:#ECF8FD; } </style> And my HTML look likes this: <a href="#" id="mostrar">MOSTRAR</a> <div style="display: none;" id="caja"> <a href="#" class="close">[x]</a> <p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod tempor invidunt ut labore et dolore magna aliquyam erat, sed diam voluptua. At vero eos et accusam et justo duo dolores et ea rebum. Stet clita kasd gubergren</p> </div> <br> <a href="#" id="mostrar2">MOSTRAR 2</a> <div style="display: none;" id="caja2"> <a href="#" class="close">[x]</a> <p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod tempor invidunt ut labore et dolore magna aliquyam erat, sed diam voluptua. At vero eos et accusam et justo duo dolores et ea rebum. Stet clita kasd gubergren</p> </div> I’ve tried with float:left; but they are not entirely align next to each other but with the box 2 (MOSTRAR 2) is just a couple of pixels underneath box 1 (MOSTRAR 1). And of cause I need the caja and caja2 to be aligned as well for the expand-collapse function to work. Thanks Mestika
