  • Problems with sticky footer html css

    I'm having trouble making a sticky footer, whatever I do the code completely messes up and re-arranged positioning of other elements. I'm using multiple div elements.   • Format date in String Template email

    I'm creating an email using String Template but when I print out a date, it prints out the full date (eg. Wed Apr 28 10:51:37 BST 2010). I'd like to print it out in the format dd/mm/yyyy but don't know how to format this in the .st file. I can't modify the date individually (using java's simpleDateFormatter) because I iterate over a collection of objects with dates. Is there a way to format the date in the .st email template?

    Hi all! have problems with mouseover in Mozilla and Chrome after making it work in IE, for sure I can tell you that my code woked perfectly in Chrome at least, cause thats my default browser and I used it for debuging when creating the javascipt and it worked nicely... until I tried to make it work in IE too.     I was going to CSV based export/import for large data with app engine. My idea was just simple. First column of CSV would be key of entity. If it's not empty, that row means existing entity and should overwrite old one. Else, that row is new entity and should create new one.   • jquery fade element does not show elements styled 'visibility: hidden'

    I have a bunch of thumbnails which I am loading with a style of visibility: hidden; so that they all maintain their correct layouts. Once the page is fully loaded I have a jquery function that fades them in. This worked when their style was set to display: none; but obviously the layout screwed up then. Any suggestions? In pseudo code, something like: def otherMap = [hi: "world"] foo("bar", hi: "bye", otherMap*) So that it prints [hi:world] This doesn't work of course. I have used the exact same coding in many other websites, but for my new website http://www.peterevansfuneraldirectors.co.uk/contact-us.html the submit button is just a grey square with text, rather than the usual button. Also the hand doesn't come up on hover.     If using HAML on Ruby on Rails, then :sass #someDiv border: 3px dashed orange won't have any <style> tag around them. and then :css :sass #someDiv border: 3px dashed orange won't kick on the :sass filter, but :css :sass #someDiv border: 3px dashed orange will kick on the :sass filter, but it is outside of the <style> tag. So how can the :sass filter be used?

    I'm working on the MVC app where I've to generate the report in the form of HTML page. If the user click the print icon, I've to show the HTML page to user. If the user click on email icon, I've to send email with same HTML page attachment. I'm trying to find a way where I can use the same code to generate the HTML in both cases of email and print.
