    here is the function description test($argv) $argv is an array , for example $argv=array($from1,$to1,$from2,$to2.....); array items must be even. $argv=array(1,2,4,5) : this will output values like below: 1_4 1_5 2_4 2_5 the number of arrray $argv's is not constant. maybe 3 or 4 levels of loop will be outputed. i know this will used RECURSIVE , but i don't know exatly how to code.

    I need to create a large matrix (array) structure (3 axis) and each element should store the reference to a Python object (myclass instance). Is it possible to use numpy to create such an array. Which data type should I use in order to store Python references? The advantage of numpy is the support of slicing at different levels. The alternativee is to create a nested (nested) list but it is a cumbersome solution.

    I am attempting to create a search function for user profiles on my site. $search= $_POST['search']; $res=mysql_query("SELECT * FROM ".TBL_USERS." WHERE username LIKE '$search%'"); This is the code I use. This will only work if you search something that matches the start of the result. Is there any way I can return values that have what i type as part of the username regardingless of upper or lower cases? Thankyou

    I have a method that returns a resource fully hydrated when the db is SQLite but when the identical code is used by SqlServer the object is not fully hydrated. I'll explain that with the code after some brief background. I my domain various otherwise unrelated things like an Employee or a Machine can be used as a Resource that can be allocated to.     i keep getting a null pointer exception when trying to add an object to a priority queue i initialize the queue: private PriorityQueue<NodeObject> nodes; and here i try to add to it: NodeObject childNode = new NodeObject(child, 1); nodes.add(childNode); why doesn't this work? i know my NodeObject is not null because i create it right before i add it.

    I know in C like languages logical operators are evaluated one at a time so: false && really_expensive_function() is doesn't result in the function being called (I can't remember the CS name for this). Does the same happen in PL/SQL or do I need to break the IF parts out to separate blocks?
