• Unable to "Run on Server" a webapp from Eclipse

  When running my WebApp project from Eclipse most of times it run correctly. But if by mistake to stop server, I kill it in "Console" view on instead of "Stop" Server from "Servers" View. • Configuring Jenkins for running with BitBucket

  I'm trying to setup Jenkins on my mac mini in order to pull my iOS project source code from BitBucket and build it automatically. I've already gone through the major well know problems generating the ssh keys,uploading them in BitBucket,performing an ssh connection by console for adding the host to the well know list (you can find all my adventure here and here). Now,there are 3 user in my system: A,B and Shared. When I installed Jenkins it automatically placed itself in Shared, but I generated the ssh keys with the user A. So just to be clear In the A home directory there is an .ssh directory with public and private keys. The odd things is that if I try to run /usr/local/git/bin/git clone --progress -o origin [email protected]:myuser/myproject.git /Users/Shared/Jenkins/Home/jobs/myprojectAdHocBuild/workspace In my console, it works fine (after fixing a small problem relative the folder write permission with chmod) I found a post reporting a similar error which names a number of possible options but I'm not sure how to perform correctly these operations on my console. • jqtouch / google maps api v3 issue

  Hi everyone, I'm having a hard time triying to make jQtouch and Google Maps api V3 together. I've tried almost everything. It seems that the only source of information is here I checked every single post. I'm starting with jQuery and css... so there's a lot of stuff I don't understand. First of all, I'm using jQtouch framework to build a web app with google maps integration, the problem is that whenever I pan the map, strange flickering occurs. It's like jQtouch and the map are trying to fight for a callback. I'm using the latest revision out there. And have several bugs, regarding transition/animation functionality (since I don't wrap the map and all the element's divs within the #jqt wrapper) and css issues with some styling. Anyone has successfully achieve a functional setup build for this scenario? (google maps api v3 & jqtouch), I think is not necessary to paste you some code (But if you think is necessary please let me know and I'll do it), If you paste me a minimal example with a map (detailing jqtouch version, and modification to the styles/.js files), and some transition back and forth from the map to another div/section/page, you'll get the bounty. Thanks a lot in advance. And please, let me know if this is kind of 'legal' here, I mean, there's too loose information on the official wiki, and like 13 'solutions' but nothing concrete... I'm just triying to help anyone who step on in this problem in the future.

  Using the API, trying to get items in a specific feed returns this: {“direction”:”ltr”,”id”:”feed/http://arstechnica.com/index.rssx”,”title”:”Ars Technica”,”description”:”The Art of Technology”,”self”:[{"href":"http://www.google.com/reader/api/0/stream/contents/feed/http://arstechnica.com/index.rssx?ot\u003d1273193172856169\u0026r\u003dn\u0026xt\u003duser/-/state/com.google/read\u0026n\u003d4\u0026ck\u003d1273193873\u0026client\u003diPadReader"}],”alternate”:[{"href":"http://arstechnica.com/index.php","type":"text/html"}],”updated”:1273193873,”items”:[]} They look like key/value pairs but it’s plain text with UTF8 String encoding and won’t encode into a dictionary. I’m using Objective-C and I’m not sure where to go from here. So far I’ve been able to parse the XML response for unread items, but parsing the plain-text doesn’t look feasible. What is your practice?

  Hello, everyone! I'm trying to delete a blog post on blogger.com using Blogger API via Prototype Javascript library. I guess that Prototype doesn't work well with HTTP methods other than GET and POST (here's the ticket describing similar problem though proposed patch didn't work for me) Any help is appreciated! • Facebook graph API - OAuth Token

  I'm trying to retrieve data using the new graph API, however the token I'm retriving from OAuth doesn't appear to be working. The call I'm making is as follows; $token = file_get_contents('https://graph.facebook.com/oauth/access_token?type=client_cred&client_id=<app_id>&client_secret=<app secret>'); This returns a token with a string length of 41. To give you an example of what is returned I have provided below a sample (converted all numbers to 0, all capital letters to 'A' and small case letters to 'a' access_token=000000000000|AaaAaaAaaAAaAaaaaAaaAa0aaAA. I take this access token and attach it to the call request for data, it doesn't appear to be the correct token as it returns nothing. I make the data call as follows; file_get_contents('https://graph.facebook.com/<my_page's_id>/statuses?access_token=000000000000|AaaAaaAaaAAaAaaaaAaaAa0aaAA.') When I manually retrieve this page directly through the browser I get an 500/Internal Server Error Message. Any assistance would be grately appreciated.

  I have a scenario in which I have REST API which manages a Resource which we will call Group. A Group is similar in concept to a discussion forum in Google Groups. Given a *group_id* it should return a minimal amount of information like { group_id: "5t7yu8i9io0op", group_name: "Android Developers", is_moderated: true, number_of_users: 34, new_messages: 5, icon: "http://boo.com/pic.png" } The 2nd GET access method retrives summary information which are more statistical in nature like: { group_id: "5t7yu8i9io0op", top_ranking_users: { [ { user: "george", posts: 789, rank: 1 }, { user: "joel", posts: 560, rank: 2 } ...] }, popular_topics: { [ ... ] } } I want to separate these data access methods and I'm currently planning on this design: GET /group/:group_id/ GET /group/:group_id/stat Only the latter will return the statistical information about the group. What do you think about this ?

• How is the best way to write a SOAP 1.2 Client with Delphi Win32

  So far, no Delphi version supports SOAP 1.2 clients or server. I have tried for weeks to make it works, but every time a new problem, with VS/C# I could do the same, and make works in 3 days, but I need to do with Delphi 2009. "I write a new version using Rem Objects SDK,", but the result was not better that I had with Delphi SOAP library. But I'm wondering what choice else do I have, which library/component full support SOAP 1.2? I found a message from Bruneau, suggesting Pocket SOAP http://www.pocketsoap.com/pocketsoap/ I dont know how this works, Ill investigate and see what I can do.

• Facebook AS3 API publishPost() problem

  I'm trying to finish a facebook app using the AS3 API. Im having trouble when using the publishPost (message, attachment, action_links, target_id, uid) function. I can get it to post on the user's wall setting the uid=user.uid BUT I can't make it post on the user's friends wall! Setting the target_id=friend.uid isnt working for me I've also tried uid=friend.uid / target_id=friend.uid, uid=friend.uid/ I have granted ExtendedPermission(ExtendedPermissionValues.PUBLISH_STREAM) as in the documentation. I repeat: I can make it post on the current user´s wall but not on its friends'. Can someone help me with this?

• Select image iphone simulator using phonegap camera api

  I'm new to Xcode and iPhone apps. I want to select an image from iPhone (camera or library) and send to php via ajax. http://wiki.phonegap.com/iPhone:-Camera-API I'm using the phonegap framework, Xcode iPhone SDK version 3.1.x. On clicking button it calls function with parameter 0 or 1, but it does not initialize camera or display the library. I used the same code as in the above link. it shows this error in debug console: 2010-03-25 23:36:02.337 PhoneGap[7433:207] Camera.getPicture: Camera not available. simulator dsnt have camera, but photos(from library) also not wokring! what might be the error? i think when using navigator.camera.getPicture first check for camera and if not break and shws error ~?

• Facebook Graph API - authorization types?

  I'm struggling with the new Facebook Graph API, perhaps someone here can help. Here is what I want to do: provide a ‘login w/ FB’ button, throw to /authorize, get a code, throw to /access_token, get an access_token, and be able to hit https://graph.facebook.com/me for info about the user. When I try to use type=client_cred in the /authorize call, I get an access_token that lets me hit URLs with userIDs or names, but not /me. I receive an error stating I need a valid token. If I can't hit /me, how do I figure out who the current user is? What exactly should I use in the type param if I want a website to access a users data? I've seen posts with type=web_server, etc, but I can't seem to find a sure fire way to do, what I think, is pretty simple... Thanks ahead of time for any help thats provided...

  Hello everyone I just read the new User fql table fields at http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/fql/user As I can see a lot of the fields have been deprecated such as work_history or books and movies. It is quite essential for my app to get all those fields for my user's friends in a single fql query. If i am not wrong the only way to do this is to get those extra fields using the Graph API by requesting them seperately for every friend of my user. Is there any way to do it in a more efficient way without so many calls? Can I subscribe to real time updates for the request fields for my user's friends (i do not care about the logged in user data)? Thank you a lot

  i built an appengine web app cricket.hover.in. The web app consists of about 15k url's linked in it, But even after a long time of my launch, no pages are indexed on google. Any base link place on my root site hover.in are being indexed with in minutes. but i placed the same link home page of root site a long back. but its of no use. can any one analyse , if there is any issue with cricket.hover.in or if bots have any issues with Google app engine actually tested the url using labs app of webmaster tools of google there the return is fine and html is clear. but when tested the same (cricket.hover.in) at the following urls its showing different results of failure www.dnsqueries.com/en/googlebot_simulator.php www.smart-it-consulting.com/internet/google/googlebot-spoofer/ but if i test some of my php or word press links at the above url's the results are good and fine. please help me with this.

  I used Cs-cart for a site. Default installation SEO is not suitable for Turkish accented characters such as "ö" which maps to automatically "ae". Then I modified the php code and now it substitutes "ö" with "o" and "s"-"s" etc. Also I changed a category name to a better one. My problem is, google indexed both previous versions and new versions. Previous wrong urls gives 404 error. I used sitemap addon and send it to google and sitemap does not include wrong urls. However these old urls are still indexed on google. What can I do to remove them.   I am impressed by what I have seen of yeroon.net/ggplot2 which is a web interface for Hadley Wickham's R package ggplot2. I want to try it out on my own data. The part that has me very excited is that one can use data stored in one's own Google spreadsheet as the data. One just signs into their Google Account so that yeroon.net/ggplot2 can access the spreadsheet list. I have been hesitant to do it. If I sign in whilst on yeroon.net am I handing over my username and password to a third party? It would not be wise of me to divulge my google password to third parties since Google is fast becoming my repository of everything. How do I know if Jeroon's application is using ClientLogin or OAuth? My understanding is very basic and may be wrong but nevertheless here it is. OAuth would be better since it does not actually pass the password onto the third party application.

• What is Google Docs' SLA?

  Hi all, I am evaluating online storage and for me, that means either Amazon S3 or Google Docs. Amazon very clearly posts there reliability and SLA: http://aws.amazon.com/s3/#protecting Their rates are obviously higher than Google's, but it is really hard to compare without having an SLA. Does anyone know what Google's commitment is for reliability? Is it 99.99% for data, is there anyway to make that more durable? I have to ask too, wouldn't google docs at least be inheritently more reliable than a hard drive? Thanks, Walter

  I have setup a project using both Jdo and Jpa. I used Jpa Annotation to Declare my Entity. Then I setup my testCases based on LocalTestHelper (from Google App Engine Documentation). When I run the test, a call to makePersistent of Jdo:PersistenceManager is perfectly OK; a call to persist of Jpa:EntityManager raised an error: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Type ("org.seamoo.persistence.jpa.model.ExampleModel") is not that of an entity but needs to be for this operation at org.datanucleus.jpa.EntityManagerImpl.assertEntity(EntityManagerImpl.java:888) at org.datanucleus.jpa.EntityManagerImpl.persist(EntityManagerImpl.java:385) Caused by: org.datanucleus.exceptions.NoPersistenceInformationException: The class "org.seamoo.persistence.jpa.model.ExampleModel" is required to be persistable yet no Meta-Data/Annotations can be found for this class.   Howdy everybody, I am trying to learn rails, and I'm working on an app that uses Google for logins and also for calendar data. I'm currently working on configuring authlogic-oauth and having some issues. I've been following the guide for the authlogic-oauth (see link above) plugin, and I'm on steps 4 and 5. I've been reading hxxp://code.google.com/apis/accounts/docs/OAuth_ref.html (sorry I can only post one hyperlink), but I'm just not sure where I get everything and what the plugin handles for itself. Finally, I'm not quite sure how I retrieve the calendar info, I've just been told I could by someone on IRC. Do I do it through this plugin or do I have to use another one as well? Thanks so much!
