  • need help in positioning

  • jQuery image loop not displaying any images

    I'm trying to create a very basic image gallery in jQuery. The goal is to have 3 images fade in and out in a sequential order. So image 1 is displayed, fades to image 2 etc. then the whole thing loops again.   • Is there a way to look up the Publishers URL using the linkshare.com API

    I'm able to retrieve the URL of a publisher only if their URL is in the title or the description using regular expression in linkshare's coupon API but in doing so, that leaves me with a lot of publishers not having a reference to their website which I need for the type of site that I am building. I was wondering if anyone else knows a way to reference the publishers URL preferably by their publisher ID or some other way?

    i would like the label and message to be on the left of the icon....i would also like the icon to be right-aligned what is the best way to do this? I searched SO archives and found everyone suggesting Django. Now, is it that instead of PHP interpreter there is python interpreter & instead of php script there is python script, which contains both HTML & python (embedded in some kind of python tags). Python script connects to database server and fetches some data which will be printed as HTML. or is it different in python world? Is this Django thing like frameworks for PHP? Can't one code in python without using Django. Because, I never encountered any post without django Please give me some kick start.

    I have a domain object called page that only has a title, I then have subclasses what are StaticPage that also has a textblock and PicturePage that contains a url. I have a site object that has many pages, I am looking for a way in the view for the site to call the a different template for each subclass. I can easily iterate through the pages but I would like to call each subclasses own view.

  • scaffold does not update view

    Hi there I have a question to the following procedure: script/generate scaffold product title:string description:text db:migrate #then I generate a migration which adds a column description to the table products and migrate the db again. My question is: why is the field description not added to the project-views? Is that normal rails scaffold behaviour? I think I saw in a video tutorial that the scaffold updates as well the views, which would be very convenient. Thanks in advance for any help!

  • Repositioning a label with mouseevents to anywhere on the screen

    I've created a label and used setPixmap to attach a .png image to the label. I've also setWindowFlags to disable the title bar and create a frameless window. Because I've disabled those, it also disables the ability to drag anything around, so I want to create mouseevents (unless there's a better method) to position my label anywhere on the screen exactly like dragging the frame of a window. How would I do that? An example and brief explanation would be greatly appreciated.

    Sorry for the dramatic sounding title, just wanted to know if there is a way to prevent all types of PHP commands from executing EXCEPT one. For example, now when I kill a script using die() my pages look half broken because the bottom part of the page's html failed to load since it was being brought in using the include() function. So is there a way to tell PHP "don't allow any more commands to be executed except the include function" ?

  • Find and replace date within a file

    My apologies if my title is not descriptive enough, I believe the following will be. I have 3 files which are just plain text, within each file, is a date Date: 2012-08-31 for example I would like to get a command/script to find this and update to the current date, but the date will be ever changing and may not be known going in (without viewing the contents of the file Knowing what the date is, its simple enough with sed, but how can I do this knowing the syntax of the line I want to modify, but not the specific values. ("Date: " at least is unchanging)
