  • Nesting a SharePoint Webpart inside of a User Control

    I know it's usually the other way around, but I have some extenuating requirements that must be met (read as "No one bothered to do the research and now I have to bail them out") I have a standard user control (ascx) that is to be imported into a SharePoint 2007 website. Due to a design constraint, a sharepoint web part that is also needed has to be nested inside of this user control. So in other words, the user control would have to look something like this: <%@ Control Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="foo.ascx.cs" Inherits="foo" %> <div id="container"> ...snipped... <!-- SharePoint web part goes here --> ...snipped... </div> Any help would be appreciated.     I'm wanting to use http_build_query to change an array to html tag properties. Problem is, it's changing my single-quoted values into %27. So if I have http_build_query( array("type"=>"'hidden'", ... ), '', ' ' ); I get <input type=%27hidden%27 ...> How can I get around this?

    Hi I have a website used by clients for reporting purposes and would like to give clients the option of my website reading their local database directly (instead of them providing data in a file format). In most instances their database would be SQL Express setup on their localhost. How can I connect to a clients local SQL server via my website, using asp.net / javascript etc? If the client provides their connection string properties, localhost would just refer to my server's localhost... Thanks

    I'm trying to make a menu in advance to be seen whether there is a double nesting. <ul class="parent"> <li class="child"></li> <li class="child"> <ul slass="nesting"> <li></li> <li></li> </ul> </li> <li class="child"></li> </ul> So ul class="nesting" hidden by default but appears during the hover of li class="child".     Looking for a way to simulate nested loops (or a cartesian product) i came across the itertools.product function. i need a function or piece of code that receive a list of integers as input and returns a specific generator. example: input = [3,2,4] - gen = product(xrange(3),xrange(2),xrange(4)) or input = [2,4,5,6] - gen = product(xrange(2),xrange(4),xrange(5),xrange(6)) as the size of the lists varies i am very confused in how to do that without the need of a lot of precoding based on a crazy amount of ifs and the size of the list. also is there a difference in calling product(range(3)) or product(xrange(3))?

    i have file with contents in list form such as [1,'ab','fgf','ssd'] [2,'eb','ghf','hhsd'] [3,'ag','rtf','ssfdd'] i want to read that file line by line using f.readline and assign thn to a list so as to use it is the prog as a list for using list properties tried like k=[ ] k=f.readline() print k[1] i xpected a result to show 2nd element in the list in first line but it showed the first bit and gave o/p as '1' how to get the xpected output.. please suggest

    Before you say "oh no, not again" here I'm stating my case. I'm parsing part of HTML output and the only thing I'm interested in is name and value attributes of each <input/ tag. HTML is actually HTML fragment, may not be well-formed. I don't have DOM or HTML parser and I don't try to parse nested elements anyway. The problem is that I don't know the order or number of attributes so it could be <input name="foo" value="boo"/> or <input type="hidden" name=foo> or <input id=blah value='boo' src="image.png" name="foo" type="img"/>. Is there a single regular expression that would get me values of name and value attribute in predictable order? I wouldn't have asked the question if I could assume that name attribute always precedes value but unfortunately this is not the case

    Hi, I am having trouble picking the best data structure for solving a problem. The problem is as below: I have a nested list of identity codes where the sublists are of varying length. li = [['abc', 'ghi', 'lmn'], ['kop'], ['hgi', 'ghy']] I have a file with two entries on each line; an identity code and a number. abc 2.93 ghi 3.87 lmn 5.96 Each sublist represents a cluster. I wish to select the i.d. from each sublist with the highest number associated with it, append that i.d. to a new list and ultimately write it to a new file. What data structure should the file with numbers be read in as? Also, how would you iterate over said data structure to return the i.d. with the highest number that matches the i.d. within a sublist? Do I need to use nested routes? I am able to do @user.reviews.new(params[:review]) but I'm not being able of passing the wsp_id and the service_id.     Hello, I have a matrix in a txt file and I want to load the matrix based on my input of number of rows and columns For example, I have a 5 by 5 matrix in the file. I want to extract a 3 by 3 matrix, how can I do that ? I created a nested loop using : FILE *sample sample=fopen("randomfile.txt","r"); for(i=0;i<rows;i++){ for(j=0;j<cols;j++){ fscanf(sample,"%f",&matrix[i][j]); } fscanf(sample,"\n",&matrix[i][j]); } fclose(sample); Sadly the code does not work .. If I have this matrix : 5.00 4.00 5.00 6.00 5.00 4.00 3.00 25.00 5.00 3.00 4.00 23.00 5.00 2.00 352.00 6.00 And inputting 3 for rows and 3 for columns, I get : 5.00 4.00 5.00 6.00 5.00 4.00 3.00 25.00 5.00 Which is obviously wrong , its reading line by line rather than skipping the unmentioned column ...     Hi, I display a list of items via select1 control using xxforms:tree appearance. They are displayed via a code block like: <xforms:itemset nodeset="instance('dataInstance')/*"> <xforms:label ref="fn:concat(./NAME,', ','ID: ',./ID)"/> <xforms:value ref="./ID"/> </xforms:itemset> </xforms:select1> I want to display two icons for each item on the same row as the item: one icon for deleting and one for editing that item, which would all invoke XPL with the item ID as the parameter. The question, how do I render those icons - does itemset support nested trigger elements? If not, how do I go about achieving it (clicking on the item results in an action other than edit or delete, so cannot use that; can show delete/edit on the page shown when user clicks on the item, but want to save that one click if the user just wants to delete the item for example).   • Subversion: Oops! Any way to move / to /trunk?

    I made the mistake of creating a Subversion repository without the usual trunk, branches, and tags directories. That is, the root directory of the project maps to the root directory of the repository. Now I want to create a feature branch, but there's no good place to put it. What I'd like to do is move / to /trunk, preserving its properties and history. Am I out of luck?

  • Finding the most similar numbers across multiple lists in Python

    In Python, I have 3 lists of floating-point numbers (angles), in the range 0-360, and the lists are not the same length. I need to find the triplet (with 1 number from each list) in which the numbers are the closest. (It's highly unlikely that any of the numbers will be identical, since this is real-world data.) I was thinking of using a simple lowest-standard-deviation method to measure agreement, but I'm not sure of a good way to implement this. I could loop through each list, comparing the standard deviation of every possible combination using nested for loops, and have a temporary variable save the indices of the triplet that agrees the best, but I was wondering if anyone had a better or more elegant way to do something like this.     Im saving an object model out to XML but when i load it back in I get exceptions when trying to use PropertyInfo.SetValue() because the property doesn't have a setter just a getter. I want to either not save out the properties that only have getters or figure out on load whether its valid for me to try and set a value or not. Anybody know how to do this Cheers

  • Notepad++ Move Caret Outside Bracket

    I've searched everywhere and can't find an answer to something incredibly simple and useful for Notepad++. When using autoclose, the cursor gets stuck inside, which is good until I've finished typing the parameters. How do I get the caret to jump outside of the currently nested autoclosed element? Regardless of it being (), {}, [], "", '', ? CTRL+B does does something similar, but it goes to the inside of the left bracket first, and then to the outside of the right bracket, which is where I want to be. This only works for brackets though, not tags and qoutations Hitting CTRL+B twice is cumbersome and manually hitting "right arrow" requires too much hand motion while coding. And finally, is there anyway I can map this to "SHIFT+Space"?
