  I've got a new java project at Eclipse from SVN and just tried to open the project in the Eclipce's Project Explorer window and received this error: Problems occurred when invoking code from plug-in: "org.eclipse.jface". • How to make Delphi Prism indexed properties visible to C# when properties are not default

  I have several Delphi Prism classes with indexed properties that I use a lot on my C# web applications (we are migrating a big Delphi Win32 system to ASP.Net). My problem is that it seems that C# can't see the indexed properties if they aren't the default properties of their classes. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm completely lost. I know that this question looks a lot like a bug report, but I need to know if someone else knows how to solve this before I report a bug. If I have a class like this: TMyClass = public class private ... method get_IndexedBool(index: Integer): boolean; method set_IndexedBool(index: Integer; value: boolean); public property IndexedBool[index: Integer]: boolean read get_IndexedBool write set_IndexedBool; default; // make IndexedBool the default property end; I can use this class in C# like this: var myObj = new TMyClass(); myObj[0] = true; However, if TMyClass is defined like this: TMyClass = public class private ... method get_IndexedBool(index: Integer): boolean; method set_IndexedBool(index: Integer; value: boolean); public property IndexedBool[index: Integer]: boolean read get_IndexedBool write set_IndexedBool; // IndexedBool is not the default property anymore end; Then the IndexedBool property becomes invisible in C#. The only way I can use it is doing this: var myObj = new TMyClass(); myObj.set_IndexedBool(0, true); I don't know if I'm missing something, but I can't see the IndexedBool property if I remove the default in the property declaration. Besides that, I'm pretty sure that it is wrong to have direct access to a private method of a class instance. Any ideas?

• Cannot run Android "Camera Preview" sample

  The sample I'm referring to is: CameraPreview. The program simply force closes upon start up. I've also tried other camera demos that have the same problem. I'm trying to run the samples on my Nexus One and the emulator with the same problem on both. I'm not even sure if the emulator should be able to run them or not.   Hi there, I have created 2 parent BLOGs in DNN. BLOG x has 3 children BLOGs and BLOG y has 5 children. When I click Add BLOG entry, only BLOG x & is children come up in the dropdown list, BLOG y is missing. Anyone know why? Even if I go to the BLOG y and click Add BLOG entry, its missing. • C# Dynamically created LinkButton Command Event Handler

  So I have a weird situation here... I have an System.Web.UI.WebControls.WebParts.EditorPart class. It renders a "Search" button, when you click this button, it's clickHandler method does a DB search, and dynamically creates a LinkButton for each row it returns, sets the CommandName and CommandArgument properties and adds a CommandEventHandler method, then adds the LinkButton control to the page. The problem is, when you click a LinkButton, its CommandEventHandler method is never called, it looks like the page just posts back to where it was before the ORIGINAL "Search" button was pressed. I have seen postings saying that you need to add the event handlers in OnLoad() or some other early method, but my LinkButtons haven't even been created until the user tells us what to search for and hits the "Search" button... Any ideas on how to deal with this? Thanks!

• MVC controller is being called twice

  Hello, I have a controller that is being called twice from an ActionLink call. My home page has a link, that when clicked calls the Index method on the Play controller. An id of 100 is passed into the method. I think this is what is causing the issue. More on this below. Here are some code snippets: Home page: <%= Html.ActionLink(“Click Me”, "Index", "Play", new { id = 100 }, null) %> Play Controller: public ActionResult Index(int? id) { var settings = new Dictionary<string, string>(); settings.Add("Id", id.ToString()); ViewData["InitParams"] = settings.ToInitParams(); return View(); } Play view: <%@ Page Title="" Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewPage" %> (html <head> omitted for brevity) <body> <form id="form1" runat="server" style="height:100%"> Hello </form> </body> If I get rid of the parameter to the Index method, everything is fine. If I leave the parameter in place, then the Index method is called with 100 as the id. After returning the View, the method is called a second time with a parameter of null. I can’t seem to figure out what is triggering the second call. My first thought was to add a specific route like this: routes.MapRoute( "Play", // Route name "Play/{id}", // URL with parameters new {controller = "Play", action = "Index"} // Parameter defaults ); This had no effect other than making a prettier looking link. • Webservice Jira gives: Error: No such operation 'getIssuesFromJqlSearch' from Jira 4.01

  When I use the Webservice of Jira, I need to use the method getIssuesFromJqlSearch to describe a certain (JQL) Query. But it returns me "No such operation 'getIssuesFromJqlSearch'". Is this method in Jira 4.01 not implemented yet? BTW: I need a method to get all Issues from one specific project, without creating filters first. This was my first way to find a workaround, because there is no function getIssuesFromProject. If there is no way to fix the problem with the JQL method, I try to take RSS XML View with the URL jql statement like SearchRequest.xml?jqlQuery=project+%3D+Testproject&tempMax=1000. But this is not my favorite.

  Hi friends, I have got little tricky issue i.e I am using API of a product which has few methods for uploading image. The UI part of the product has one file upload control which takes files and convert that into binary and save it to database. In the coding part they are using one method where they send this fileupload.postedfile as one of the input parameter to the method. Now my requirement is, I have a directory where there are hundred of files which i have to send each file one by after another to this method as a input. Now i wish to know how to pass a file name as "HttpPostedFile" to that method as a parameter. I have no other option other than using that API (our clients requirement). Thanks

• MXMLC Ant task results in java.lang.OutOFMemoryError

  I'm making a change to a set of code for a Flex project that I didn't write and was set up to compile using ant tasks. I assume that the codebase was stable at the last checkin but I'm running into memory issues when trying to build a project using MXMLC and ant (see stack trace below). Before, I was just getting an out of memory error. I tried using a different machine and got this more verbose exception (including problems with the image fetcher). I've tried using various versions of the SDK, I've tried replacing the <mxmlc> tag with <exec executable="mxmlc"> with no luck.   Hi , I have a html form with the data by this post method 'form id='form1' name='form1' method='post' action='process.php'etc ' to a php page for processing into a mysql database . When the user has filled in the form BEFORE submitting it I have a button that the user can click to open up a new page to display a pdf of the data entered. The new pdf file is generated fine but what I need in it is the post data from the form. In the pdf page I can use POST to get the detail. What I need is a method of sending the data from the form to this new page without using the form tag above as it is needed for the processing of the form. What I am looking for is a js method to redirect to a new page with the post data intact Can anybody help please ? , any help is much appreciated ! Mick

  I tried to find the answer of my question on the internet, but I could not. I have a simple entity in Core data that has a Value attribute (that is integer) and a Date attribute. I want to define two methods in my .m file. First method is the ADD method. It takes two arguments: an integer value (entered by user in UI) and a date (current date by default). and then insert a record into the entity based on the arguments. Second method is like an increment method. It uses the Date as a key to find a record and then increment the integer value of that record. I don't know how to write these methods. (assume that we have an Array Controller for the table in the xib file)

• Has MSDN Dropped Compact Framework already?

  MSDN Documentation used to indicate if a method was supported on the compact framework. But now I can't find that info anymore. I know that Microsoft has dropped Compact Framework like a hot potato, but I did not know that they had ripped it out of the docs. As examples of what I am talking about here is a link to the Graphics Members. They used to show which methods were supported in the Compact Framework next to each method. Now they do not. Also, here are two methods: Graphics.MeasureString Method (String, Font, Int32) Graphics.MeasureString Method (String, Font) The first is not supported in the compact framework, but the second is. But the docs don't tell you that (at least not at the bottom where they used to). Am I missing something? Is there a way to still get this info?

  I want to grab a user's uploads (ie: BBC) and limit the output to 10 per page. Whilst I can use the following URL: http://gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/users/bbc/uploads/?start-index=1&max-results=10 The above works okay. I want to use the query method instead: The Zend Framework docs: http://framework.zend.com/manual/en/zend.gdata.youtube.html State that I can retrieve videos uploaded by a user, but ideally I want to use the query method to limit the results for a pagination.   I know there are a couple of debates on this kind of thing.... At any rate, I have several cases where I need to populate combobox items based on enumerations returned from the WCF service. In an effort to keep code clean, I started this approach. After looking into it more, I don't think the this works as well is initially thought... I am throwing this out to get recommendations/advice/code snippets on how you would do this or how you currently do this. I may be forced to have a seperate, non anonymous method, procedure. I hate doing this for something like this but at the moment, don't see it working another way... They have confirmed that our request is hitting their servers but a response is supposed to come back in 1 of a few ways determined by a parameter.   Is there any way to Linkify a specific TextView that is contained within a ListView? I tried using android:autoLink="all" but that didn't work. I was getting an out of context error. Important also to note: the ListView is my second view in the ViewFlipper. • Obj-C component-based game architecture and message forwarding

  Hello, I've been trying to implement a simple component-based game object architecture using Objective-C, much along the lines of the article 'Evolve Your Hierarchy' by Mick West. To this end, I've successfully used a some ideas as outlined in the article 'Objective-C Message Forwarding' by Mike Ash, that is to say using the -(id)forwardingTargetForSelector: method. The basic setup is I have a container GameObject class, that contains three instances of component classes as instance variables: GCPositioning, GCRigidBody, and GCRendering. The -(id)forwardingTargetForSelector: method returns whichever component will respond to the relevant selector, determined using the -(BOOL)respondsToSelector: method. All this, in a way, works like a charm: I can call a method on the GameObject instance of which the implementation is found in one of the components, and it works. Of course, the problem is that the compiler gives 'may not respond to ...' warnings for each call. Now, my question is, how do I avoid this? And specifically regarding the fact that the point is that each instance of GameObject will have a different set of components? Maybe a way to register methods with the container objects, on a object per object basis? Such as, can I create some kind of -(void)registerMethodWithGameObject: method, and how would I do that? Now, it may or may not be obvious that I'm fairly new to Cocoa and Objective-C, and just horsing around, basically, and this whole thing may be very alien here. Of course, though I would very much like to know of a solution to my specific issue, anyone who would care to explain a more elegant way of doing this would additionally be very welcome.   I'm trying to zoom in on a Google MapView on step in the oncreateMethod of my Activity. Everytime I try to zoom the map via the mapController I get an IllegalArgumentException: 04-15 10:16:51.012: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(528): java.lang.RuntimeException: Unable to start activity ComponentInfo{com.innomos.couponimo.android.client/com.innomos.couponimo.android.client.ui.showstores.StoreMap}: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: width and height must be > 0 This Exception is thrown if I call the zoomOut or zoomIn function of MapController. Sadly the zoomIn function I'm using does not take any arguments. The onCreateMethod where I'm calling the zoom functions looks like this: mapView = (MapView) findViewById(R.id.map); mapView.setBuiltInZoomControls(true); MapController mapController = mapView.getController(); mapController.zoomIn(); I'm a little bit at loss here because I'm doing nothing special.
