• RuntimeException: Could not start Selenium session: Internal Server Error

  I am trying to detect a midair collision problem (simultaneous editin) using selenium.   I'm creating a table with: CREATE TABLE movies ( id INT AUTO_INCREMENT PRIMARY KEY, name CHAR(255) NOT NULL, year INT NOT NULL, inyear CHAR(10), CONSTRAINT UNIQUE CLUSTERED (name, year, inyear) ); (this is jdbc SQL) Which creates a MySQL table with a clustered index, "index kind" is "unique", and spans the three clustered columns: full size However, once I dump my data (without exceptions thrown), I see that the uniqueness constraint has failed: SELECT * FROM movies WHERE name = 'Flawless' AND year = 2007 AND inyear IS NULL; gives: id, name, year, inyear 162169, 'Flawless', 2007, NULL 162170, 'Flawless', 2007, NULL Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong here?

Line 36 project.id isn't raising a warning, so I assume the issue is that I'm calling ID on the Matching model. Why is it the case that only Matching raising an error and not customer or project? • CakePHP 1.3.0 RC4 Installation

  I have been using 1.2.6 and downloaded 1.3 to try it out. I am using wampserver with Apache 2.2.11. I have mod rewrite enabled. When I bake a new application using the cake 1.3 console, after I verify that the webroot/index.php of the application CAKE_CORE_INCLUDE_PATH is set to the Cake1.3 Installation folder. The result is a page thats missing CSS, missing a method. Typing in localhost/app/index.php will enable the program to find the app. Therefore I have to assume the rewrite module isnt functioning properly for v1.3. Is there something I have to add to the cake installation or app folder to make this function as it should?

  Hi, I use the Searchable plugin with Grails I have the need to change the directory to which Compass points to, depending upon a UI choice by the user. Normally, this value is set in the compassConnection variable of the searchable map in grails-app/conf/Searchable.groovy, like so, and gets called at app startup time: searchable { compassConnection = new File( "/path/to/index/file/directory" ).absolutePath ... } To do what I need to do, I think that I need to get a handle into the compass config variable and then call config.setConnection("/new/path/to/index/dir") I don't know how I can get a reference to the config compass variable Am I right in assuming that I need to call setConnection(String) only, or is(are) there any other step(s) I need to take? • Thumbnails from HTML pages created and used automatically in web application

  I am working on a Ruby on Rails app that visualizes product trees. The tree is built of nodes an everything is rendered in HTML/CSS3. Some of the products make several hundred SQL queries as the tree builds up (up to 800 queries on the biggest tree). I'd like to have small thumbnails of each tree to present it on an index page. So rendering each tree once again and modifying CSS to make a tiny representation is an option. But i think it's probably easier to generate thumbnails, crop, cache, and show these on the index page. Any ideas on how to do this? Any links/articles/blog posts that could help me?

The question: is this a valid usage or it is just current implementation uses the same name as the jsp bean id when stores and looks for a bean in a session?

  Basically a client has asked for his WordPress website to be turned into a mobile website as well. I have never attempted this and know nothing about SEO. However the issue has arisen that this may cause duplicate content issues with Google, and therefore both sites may be dropped in the rankings. I was looking at turning the website into a mobile site via one of the available WordPress mobile website plugins. My question is if duplicate content will be an issue? Has anyone ever tried this? After doing some reading I kind of think it may be possible to tell Google not to index the mobile website, although as I understand it It would be the same set of files. So I am unsure that if I tell it not to index one of them, that it will drop the other one as well. Can anyone with WordPress and SEO knowledge clear this up for me?

  I have a large matrix from which I would like to gather a collection of submatrices. If my matrix is NxN and the submatrix size is MxM, I want to collect I=(N - M + 1)^2 submatrices. In other words I want one MxM submatrix for each element in the original matrix that can be in the top-left corner of such a matrix. Here's the code I have: for y = 1:I for x = 1:I index = (y - 1) * I + x; block_set(index) = big_mat(x:x+M-1, y:y+M-1) endfor endfor The output if a) wrong, and b) implying there is something in the big_mat(x:x+M-1, y:y+M-1) expression that can get me what I want without needing the two for loops.   I have been trying to install sinatra in a macbook running leopard system, and I am not able to do it. I get the following error. • ASP.NET MVC 2 - do UrlParameter.Optional entries have to be at the end of the route?

  I am migrating a site from ASP.NET MVC 1 to ASP.NET MVC 2. At the moment, the site supports the following routes: /{country}/{language}/{controller}/{action} /{country}/{controller}/{action} /{language}/{controller}/{action} /{controller}/{action} The formats for country and language are distinguishable by Regex and have suitable constraints. In MVC 1, I registered each of these as a separate route - for each of around 20 combinations. In MVC 2, I have been trying to get the same thing working with one route to cover all four cases, using UrlParameter.Optional, but I can't seem to get it working - if I define country and language as both optional, then the route /Home/Index for example doesn't successfully match the route. This is what I am trying to do: routes.MapRoute("Default", "{country}/{language}/{controller}/{action}", new { country = UrlParameter.Optional, language = UrlParameter.Optional, controller = "Home", action = "Index" }, new { country = COUNTRY_REGEX, language = LANGUAGE_REGEX }); Is this just impossible because my optionals are at the beginning of the route, or am I just missing something? I can't find any documentation to either tell me what I am doing is impossible or to point me in the right direction.

• problem with adding url variable with javascript

  Hello, Can someone help me with this I am trying to set and catch the url variable It begins with a form wich has the standard action set to "/autorisation/logout" Then a button with an inline javascript function function tbPayout() { parent.location = "/autorisation/logout?rcgo=payout"; return true; } <input src="/images/go02.gif" type=image border=0 name="go1" onClick="return tbPayout();"> In the autorisation controller I try to catch it if ( isset($_GET['rcgo']) ) { but it doesn't work and I can't see the variable in the url and therefore the default forms action is performed? I also have another redirect page with content="3; url=http://www.domain.nl/index/index?rcgo=logout" /> and that works fine How can I get the javascript to work because I have three submit buttons that need to be set to different get variables.   From a frame displaying multiple windows, I'd like to be able to 'break' one of the windows off into another frame, perhaps with a modifier-click on the modeline, where the window would now have its own frame but hold the same buffer and position. • restrict access to page to only be allowed from a certain page

  This question is similar to the one i asked here. But its related because I want to achieve the same effect. I want the users to be restricted to only accessing other pages on the site through the main page. The first page contains a frame for navigation and then a frame for content of the page they navigate to. I want it to be setup so that the only way they can access the content pages is by using this main page. So if the main page is http://intranet/index.html then they cannot get to http://intranet/other_page.html without using the link provided in index.html. Is this possible and if so what would the best technique be? I'm using apache to serve the site and I have php and javascript available.

  Hi - I'm trying to place a nice border around an image that's 250x250, using only html and css. The markup is this: <div id="img-container"><img src="pic.jpg" border="0"/></div> And the css is: #img-container { height: 225px; width: 225px; padding: 3px; border: 1px solid black; z-index: 10; position: relative; overflow: hidden; border-radius: 10px; } #img-container img { z-index: 5; } Basically, I want the div container to clip the picture's edges that exceed its boundaries. This will achieve the rounded edges effect using the border-radius property (-moz-border-radius, -webkit-border-radius, etc) - if it actually works or could even be done. Looking for tips and tricks on this. Thanks. And, yes, I'm obviously not a web designer :)

• How to cache queries in Rails across multiple requests

  I want to cache query results so that the same results are fetched "for more than one request" till i invalidate the cache. For instance, I want to render a sidebar which has all the pages of a book, much like the index of a book. As i want to show it on every page of the book, I have to load it on every request. I can cache the rendered sidebar index using action caching, but i also want to actually cache the the query results which are used to generate the html for the sidebar. Does Rails provide a way to do it? How can i do it?

  Hi guys heres the scene - I'm building a web application which basically creates accounts for all users. Currently its setup like this the file structure: root/index.php root/someotherfile.php root/images/image-sub-folder/image.jpg root/js/somejs.js When users create an account they choose a fixed group name and then users can join that group. Initially I thought of having an extra textbox in the login screen to enter the group the user belongs to login to. BUt I would like instead to have something like virtual folders in this case: root/group-name/index.php I heard it can be done with apache mod rewrite but I'm not sure how to do this - any help here? Basically instead of having something like &group-name=yourGroupName appended to every page I would just like something of the nature above.

  hello, my last post was met by smarmy, unhelpful "answers" (comments), so i'll get right to it: if i have and htaccess file like so: RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME}.php -f RewriteRule ^(.*)$ $1.php RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f RewriteRule ^ - [L] RewriteRule ^([^/]+)/([^/]+)$ /index.php?page=$1&subject=$2 RewriteRule ^([^/]+)$ /index.php?page=$1 [L] how can i allow for other url variable names and values to be handled... say for instance i want to add extra unexpected url vars to this scenario /page/subject?urlvar1=value1&urlvar2=value2 and get the page i want without creating unexpected results? any real help is greatly appreciated. thanks!
