    I want to implement the payment gateway like functionality in my iphone application other than In-App Purchase feature provided by Apple. So, i have one Question regarding the application approval on Appstore that, if i will redirect user to the UIwebview for payment related functionality, then apple will reject this application for not following the human interface guideline or it will allow this. Other way i can do it by calling web-service for the transaction of money. So, again there is any chance of app rejection on AppStore. Please share your thought on this

Basically, i want to make my laptop Dual Boot. I tried To install Windows 7, but it not showing any options for making dual boot. Can anybody,please suggest the solution.   • Retrieve web user's Identity outside of request scope

    I have an ASP.NET app that logs Audit reports using nHibernate's IPreUpdateListener. In order to set the current user in the Listener events, I was using System.Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity.GetCurrent(). This works fine when debugging on my machine, but when I move it to the staging server, I'm getting the ASP.NET process credentials, not the requesting user. In the ASP.NET page, I can use Request.LogonUserIdentity (which works fine since I'm using integrated authentication), but how do I reference this user directly without having to pass it directly to my event? I don't want to have to pass this info through the pipeline because it really doesn't belong in the intermediate events/calls.

  • Can't select database table even though the code is right

    I am trying to display a list of my vbulliten threads on a non-vbulliten portion of my site. However I can't select the vbulliten database: <?php $host = "localhost"; $user = "my username"; $pass = "my password"; $dbname = "tableprefix_forum"; mysql_connect($host, $user, $pass) or die ("Could not connect to database server."); mysql_select_db($dbname) or die ("Could not select database."); ?> I am substituting some things here in this example but all my credentials are correct including my db server username, password and forum db name. So what is the problem? Is it due to some internal security feature in vbulliten, does this system not allow you to connect to it's db if the page trying to connect to it is a non-vbulliten page?

    Hi , Currently I am looking at securing our web services. At the moment we are not using WCF so this is not an option. One approach I have seen and implemented locally fairly easily was the approach described in article: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/aspnet/wsFormsAuthentication.aspx Which describes adding a HttpModule which prompts for user credentials if the user browses to any pages (web services) which are contained in a services folder. Does anyone see any way that this security could fall down and could be bypassed etc. I'm really just trying to decide whether this is a valid approach to take or not? thanks

    I have two servers - one Django, the other likely to be written in Python - and one is putting 'tasks' into a database and another is processing these tasks. They share a database, but I want the processor to react quickly to new tasks rather than polling periodically. Are there any straightforward ways for two Python servers to talk to one another, or does the task processor have to have web-hooks or something? It feels there ought to be a blessed way to do this...

    I'm writing some backend script for a twitter app and heres how it's going On the app you click a button that sends you to login.php on my server which logs into my database connects to twitter with my consumer key and secret: $to = new TwitterOAuth($consumer_key, $consumer_secret); $tok = $to->getRequestToken(); $request_link = $to->getAuthorizeURL($tok); and then writes the token and secret to the database, sets a session equal to the id in the database of the token and secret and then redirects to the "$request_link" You then go through the process of logging in and such on twitter and it redirects you to callback.php on my server Callback.php consists of logging into the database again, getting the new token and secret, and then writing the new token and secret to the database and then prompts you to go back to the app Then on the app, all I'm trying to do is access the basic credentials$to->get('account/verify_credentials') and it keeps coming back "could not authenticate you" What am I doing wrong??   • Click once Deployment suddenly does not work. Displays windows login?

    Hello All, I am facing a peculiar issue. We use click once deployment for our windows application. It was working fine till last week. I made some changes to the application (just code nothing changed in properties) and suddenly I cannot publish anymore. When we give publish now it displays windows authentication dialog and when we provide the credentials nothing happens. It tries to connect to remote server (local LAN) and shows the dialog again. Any idea why this happens? Thanks for your help.
