I'm searching a tool for generating UML-Diagrams by the import of SQL-Syntax-Files.
I need it for personal usage. Best if it's free or if there is a free trial license available.
I have an array of NSStrings:
Flower
Car
Tree
Cat
Shoe
Some of these strings have images associated with them; some don't. I can build an image name by appending .png to the name (e.g. Flower.png).
How do I check whether that image actually exists within the bundle before I try to load it into the view?
I was unable to find any solution of my specific issue. I'm using Xcode 3.2. I'd like to indent the next line of function argument just one step in from the previous line:
somevariable = pow(
a,
b);
However, Xcode's syntax-aware indenting insists on converting the above into:
somevariable = pow(
a,
b);
Where the arguments are aligned with opening parenthesis of the function.
How can I make indenting be configured to match my preference?
Here is our dependency tree: BigApp - Child Apps - Libraries
ALL of our components are HEAVILY using one of the Libraries as above ( LibA).
But it has a ‘few’ public methods that require classes from ‘higher-level’ assemblies and we want to avoid CIRCULAR references.
What do you propose as a good design for this?
Question http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1082474/authoring-html5-in-emacs talks about nxml-mode but, from what I read, that can only be used for XHTML5, I want to use emacs with HTML5 (no XML syntax). Is there any mode with auto-indentation, tag/attribute completion, etc.?
In C# I can do this:
new SomeObjectType("abc", 10);
In other words, I can call new without assigning the created instance to any variable. However, in VB.Net it seems I cannot do the same thing.
New SomeObjectType("abc", 10) ' syntax error
Is there a way to do this in VB.Net?
How can I get a nice list of files in a directory tree
that contains multiple OLD Files,
I d'like to see only files from directories named OLD that have a certain age.
Hi
When debugging a java program in netbeans, I want the debugger to stop on the line that causes a NullPointerException so I can examine the variables there. I believe I have to use a condition on the breakpoint set at that line, but what is the syntax of the condition?
thanks for the help
Hi,
I've been using notepad++ for a while now, but i noticed it doesn't have code snippets (i found quicktext plugin, but it doesn't work anymore), so i'd like to switch editor and my requirements would be:
Fast startup.
Code snippets.
Ability to use themes.
File tree view (or plugin, which does that).
What are you using?
Thank you all for suggestions!
Hi,
The syntax for the wait system call is pid= wait(&var) where pid is the process id of child and var is the variable which will contain the reason for exiting child.
But what happens when we use wait((int *)0)? What does it exactly mean?
Thank you.
I can read settings like this, for example:
final String mytest = System.getString(this.getContentResolver(), System.AIRPLANE_MODE_ON);
...but can't seem to write to settings using putString, no matter what I've tried. Maybe it is the scope of this.getContentResolver()??? I'm a newbie, so who knows, maybe it can't be done, or it's just syntax? Currently the code is in the onCreate of an Activity class.
Any insight is much appreciated.
I have a workspace with which I have 5 applications based on same schema. Now I want to have a main page from where I could call main pages of all these applications. I used this syntax to call home page in another application but to no avail
f?p=4000:4150:&APP_SESSION.
Where 4000:4150 are the values for the application and the page I want to display.
Please let me know where am I making mistake.
what is the syntax (i.e. code example) in Lua so you can call a function prior to it being defined? i.e. how do you kind of create the function, but then add it's implementation further down in code.
So roughly like this:
define function name (doX) here somehow (i.e. subject of this question)
call doX here (further down in the code)
doX implemention here (i.e. all functions down at the bottom of the file)
I am running
ruby script/generate scaffold
or
ruby script/generate model
and I know the basic syntax, like
ruby script/generate scaffold Dude name:string face:boolean
but I do not know things like:
should names of variables have
underscores or be camelCased?
what
kind of variable types are
acceptable?
Where can I find such information?
THANKS!
P.S. The answers to my two questions would help for now, too :)
I know there is some syntax with ? to optionally render attribute.
But I can't find it now that I need it ...
Something like:
< input checked=<%? model.IsActivated % > ...
Thanks.
There is no limitation on the depth.
How to get the structed branch or even entire tree?
The definition is from here:
http://dev.mysql.com/tech-resources/articles/hierarchical-data.html
I wonder that, why are we using ({ }) ?
Is it delegate ?
What does it mean to use this syntax ?
What are we wrapping with it ?
For ex:
$.ajaxSetup ({ // <-- THIS
error: fError,
compelete: fComp,
success: fSucc
}); // <-- AND THIS
I have an asp:RadioButtonList and want to declaratively bind the value to an enumeration. I tried using this type syntax:
value = <%# ((int)MyEnum.Value).ToString() %"
I get an error list item does not support databinding. Any ideas?
Anyone know how to use Get-Member to Recursively dump to a text file The entire properties|methods tree of a COM object? (The Output formatting of Get-Object is fine)
Instead of giving me only the top level as in this example;
New-Object -com AutoItX3.Control | Get-Member
I need it to recurse the entire object to return results.
If This is not possible, how would I dump the methods/properties of a sub object?
i have this python script where i need to run 'gdal_retile.py'
but i get this an exception on this line:
if Verbose:
print(Building internam Index for %d tile(s) ..." % len(inputTiles), end=' ')
the end='' is invalid syntax just curious as to why.. and what the author probably meant to do.
I'm new to python if you haven't already guessed.
If I have a cube divided into 8 smaller cubes, each of which may be subdivided into a further 8 cubes, ad infinitum, what is the name of my system?
I know that it's a special case of a tree, where each brance contains exactly 8 other leaves/branches.
I remember the name starting with "Oct", and there was a wikipedia article on it, but I honestly can't find it!
Does anyone know what such a data structure is actually known as?
ie6 isn't playing nice with my jquery snippet, why is this throwing a syntax error in IE6
if(typeof isIE6 !="undefined"){
$("#dropdown-list li").hover(
function(){ $(this).addClass("hover"); },
function(){ $(this).removeClass("hover"); },
);
};
I want to expand the Node only on click on Icon not on the label.
With yahoo ui 2.7 :
selfCategoryTree.tree.subscribe("labelClick", function(node) { alert(node.data.customData.id + " label was clicked"); });
So I catch the labelClick , I show an alert, but the Node is expanded.
