    I'm working on a method to end the level, but to do so, I have to see that all of the enemy character have been killed. If my enemies are CCSprites, how do I make a method that detects if all of them are dead? I'm tracking their health with an int called enemyHp. For example, this is an if statement I made to remove the enemy if (enemy.enemyHp <= 0) { To recap - I want to make a method that detects when all enemies have been killed. Thanks

    Hi, I have read an XML file and converted into NSXMLDocument object. But, due to the presence of "<" in the string content of a node, it has been converted into "&lt". So, when i write it as xml document to a file, it has the character "&lt" in it. How can i write to the file as ordinary XML file in which "&lt" will be replaced by "<". Thanks and Regards, Lenin

    Hello All, I want to make an sql statement - sqlStatement = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"SELECT * FROM movies where title like '%%@%'",searchKeyword]; But sqlStatement is becoming - "SELECT * FROM movies where title like '%@'" I want to make it "SELECT * FROM movies where title like '%searchKeyword%'" How can I escape the "%" character?   • Decoding with html_entity_decode, and then having problem with &nbsp;

    After decoding the special character &nbsp; with the html_entity_decode function, I get spaces in replace of &nbsp; entities. My problem is when I check if if ($decoded_str[5] == ' ') it isn't true, though in $decoded_str[5] there is a space that was &nbsp; before decoding. How to settle the matter? I need to be able to check it like this way: if ($decoded_str[5] == ' ')

  • Moving media files while preserving itunes rating in itunes

    Hi, I've seen many threads on how to move an entire media collection from one machine to another. I want to organize my mp3 directories, but any copied file loses its reference from itunes library, thus, when I add it to itunes again, it'll have no rating data. I guess it's possible if I manipulate the itunes xml database, but I really don't want to mess with it "by hand".

  • LSI MegaRAID Expected Chip Temperature?

    We recently built a replicating SAN array from 2x Dell R720XD's, we are using LSI 9270-8i MegaRAID cards with CacheCade 2.0, BBU and Write Back cache enabled. Our cards are showing HUGE chip temperatures (97*C+ with NO disk activity!). Our R720's are in auto temp management mode so the max exhaust temp is 50*C. The MegaRAID cards are passively cooled and depend on good airflow to cool them - however is 97*C normal? - I have seen reference to 60*C max ambients but nothing for chip temp.

    I added the IIS6 MetabaseCompatibility Role to my Server 2008 but can no longer launch inetmgr: IISMANAGER_CRASH IIS Manager terminated unexpectedly. Exception:System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at Microsoft.Web.Management.Host.Shell.ShellApplication.Initialize(Boolean localDevelopmentMode, Boolean resetPreferences) at Microsoft.Web.Management.Host.Shell.ShellApplication.Execute(Boolean localDevelopmentMode, Boolean resetPreferences, Boolean resetPreferencesNoLaunch) Process:InetMgr any ideas? In the meantime, I uninstalled that role but I still don't have an inetmgr (mmc snapin doesn't work either).

Examples include all DDL (data definition language) statements such as CREATE TABLE, ALTER TABLE, or DROP TABLE. " Does this statement means that even if we have ROW format for binary logs all DDLs will be logged in binary log as statement based? How does this affect replication? In 10.5.8 the parental controls can be used to control the list of bookmarks, but I haven't seen any reference to the home page. And when logged in as Guest, the home page settings are read-only, even if you enter an administrator password. How can the Safari home page be changed (and be made persistent) for the OSX Guest account?

    Can anyone recommend a good eSATA PCIe card for Windows Server 2008 (x64)? I bought a J-Micron JMB363 and it's recognized by the OS and I can install one of their reference drivers, but it's not picking up the drive I have attached to it. Basically, I want to be able to transfer exported Hyper-V machines quickly to an external drive, and it seems that using one of these eSATA cards is the way to go.

  • How can I still see the 'man' text after I quit man?

    I typically use tcsh or bash and often want to use 'man' to review a command's options. Currently when I quit man or ctrl-C, the man text disappears and I see the scrollback buffer that was there before I performed the 'man' command. I would like to still see the 'man' text I was viewing as a reference while I'm typing the command at the command prompt without opening a second window, how can I do that?

  • Output Audio via HDMI and Analog Out Simultaneously

    I need to output the system audio from a desktop to both the HDMI output (sending to the display that functions as the room speakers) and via the analog stereo output (to feed the reference input on a microphone array for Skype). The only solution I've found so far for this is an HDMI Audio De-Embedder, but I'd really like to avoid buying another piece of hardware, so I'm hoping there's a way to do this inside software. So: Is there any way to make Windows 7 output all audio over both HDMI and Analog outs, simultaneously?
