  Release notes say that ruby-debug is installed by default. I'm using rvm. In my rails app I figured something as simple as script/server --debugger would suffice, but it complains that the ruby-debug gem isn't installed, suggests using gem install ruby-debug, which of course doesn't work (building native extensions) and is contrary to the docs anyway. Just wondering if anyone's had any luck using the built in ruby-debug in jruby 1.5 and what one needs to do in order run jruby in debug mode

  I am using Django built in view for user login: url(r'^user/login/$', 'django.contrib.auth.views.login', {'template_name': 'users/templates/login.html'}, name='user-login'), After login when I goto user/login again I can login second time. I submit the form and getting: The current URL, accounts/profile/, didn't match any of these. I haven't declare this url in urls.py. What I am doing wrong?   I built GNU Smalltalk from source on my Mac because I couldn't get it working using fink and I found VMs like Squeak hard to understand. When I run the gst command it works fine, but unlike command line interfaces such the Python and Lua ones, it is hard to use because when I use the left or right arrow keys, I want the cursor to move left or right, but instead it inserts text like "^[[D". I understand why it does this but is there any way to fix it so it is more usable?

  Can someone explain the difference between apache mod_wsgi in daemon mode and django fastcgi in threaded mode. They both use threads for concurrency I think. Supposing that I'm using nginx as front end to apache mod_wsgi. UPDATE: I'm comparing django built in fastcgi(./manage.py method=threaded maxchildren=15) and mod_wsgi in 'daemon' mode(WSGIDaemonProcess example threads=15). They both use threads and acquire GIL, am I right?
