• Problem when subClassing NSDate

  Hi, I first time tried to subClassed an NSDate to give it 2 methods that I need. Compiles fine, but in runtime I try to access it I get an error. Lets say I just want the current date which is unmodified in the subClass: [myNSDate date]; I get the error -[NSDate initWithTimeIntervalSinceReferenceDate:]: method only defined for abstract class. Define -[myNSDate initWithTimeIntervalSinceReferenceDate:]! what is different?

Now, i have to make a view in which it shows a set of fields if the dateOfEvent (one of the fields) is less than the present date and some other set of fields of the 'event' content if the dateOfEvent is more than the present date. how can I do that in the views.. thanks in advance for helping...

  Hi lads, After obtaining the urls for various blogspots, tumblr and wordpress pages, I faced some problems processing the html pages. The thing is, i wish to distinguish between the content,title and date for each blog post. I might be able to get the date through regex, but there are so many custom scripts people are using now that the html classes and structure is so different. Does anyone has a solution that may help?

  Hi, I do not uderstand why the result of: (DateTime.Now.Subtract(user.created_time.Value.Date)).Hours is 23. where: DateTime.Now is:{3/30/2010 12:00:00 AM} and user.created_time.Value.Date is : {3/24/2010 12:00:00 AM} Does it make sense for anybody? ps: I want to select all users created in last 72 hours so i suppose that is the way i should do...

  I'm trying to create a CSS/HTML based graph using this tutorial here.   It looks like they are converted to regular date types in the generated proxy object. I'd like to optionally pass null values for these dates. Other than switching to WCF (no time to learn it right now), what is the best way to handle this situation. It looks like I also cannot pass NULLABLE date types.

  Hello everyone, I am using Linq-to-Sql for a C# application and am currently working on some stored procedures. The application is for a newspaper, and a sample stored procedure is the following: ALTER PROCEDURE dbo.Articles_GetArticlesByPublication @publicationDate date AS SELECT * FROM Articles WHERE Articles.PublicationDate=@publicationDate Anyway, this query gets all of the articles where the publication date is equal to the argument (publicationDate). How can I alter this so that the argument can handle multiple publication dates? Also, I'd prefer not to use "BETWEEN," rather, I want to pick and choose dates.
