• DataTable not auto incrementing when database changed to SQL server 2008

  I have scripted my SQL server 2000 database and created it on a 2008 server. I update the database using a ADO .Net Dataset designed in VS 2003. My problem is certain tables that have identity fields don't have these fields as auto increment in the dataset? I could set these to auto increment in code, but this seams like a work around. Has anyone encountered this problem?

However, when testing, I'd like to destroy the whole in memory database after each test, instead of invoking automigrate! as a shortcut on dropping everything. Is it possible? Or is it enough to set the default repository to nil, and let the garbage collector dispose of it?

With the SQL Server 2008 Express install it appears to be mandatory to install the Database Engine when all we would like the end users to have access to is BIDS to develop their RDL's to deploy to an existing SSRS instance? It looks like BIDS 2005 was available as a standalone download - the toolkit - however I cannot find anything similar for 2008.

I want to send a DBCC SHRINKDATABASE to the SQL server, to compress the current datafile after a big deletion process. The function ObjectContext::CreateQuery returns a parser error after the DBCC command. Is there any other way to shrink the database file, or another way to send the SQL command directly to the SQL Server?
