Hello, I have a word document that was saved as xml. now I need to open it in my html page, but the problem is that it's no longer a .doc!, it's .xml, and it won't open. Any ideas? TY

Silverlight file download for COM Interop

Is the following possible in Silverlight when a button is clicked? An Excel template is downloaded from a remote server and saved to the local machine An instance of the template is then opened on the client A macro is then executed within the new Excel document I can do everything apart from saving the template to the local machine. I can save this in isolated storage but then I don’t know where this is when trying to open it from the Excel COM interop code. Has anyone any ideas or is this not possible?

Hi, my problem is that my full tables and text are coming about 15 cm away from left side, so my text has very little space on right side, about 3 cm. jQuery flicker using .load

Hey guys, I'm using jQuery to dynamically load php pages into my page using the .load() function, so far this has been successful but if you click on various links to update the div with the .load() it starts to flicker between the new clicked page and the old one, this is pretty annoying and has anyone got a fix? Is there a way to detect when focus has been put onto the address-bar or the browser-search-bar? I ask because I am trying to keep focus on one element in my document, but adding a blur() listener to that element works too well in safari mac -- you can't put focus on the address-bar!

Get text (not url) from address bar in Google Chrome

I want to retrieve the text that the user has typed into the currently visible address bar, using Javascript. This is for google chrome only. Is this possible? I know you can get the document URL via window.location.href, but I am unable to locate any javascript pertaining to current code inside the address bar/omnibar. Thank you for the help!
