  • How to customize Bootstrap typeahead layout/function for more than just text?

    I'm working on a search functionality for my website and I'm using Bootstrap's typeahead to show the results. So far so good. But what I want is to extend the function so that I could add an image and some other item, say description, etc. According to this post, that is possible: custom typeahead. Basically I need something like this as each result item: <div class="resultContainer"> <div class="resultImage"><img /></div> <div class="resultDesc"></div> <div class="resultLabel"></div> </div> Now it's: <li><a href="#"></a></li> And this doesn't even work with a longer text than the width of the typeahead. So the text doesn't go to the next line and hence doesn't fit the <li>. How can I use the the custom layout I want? (btw I have an array of arrays of results. Each sub-array contains img, desc, etc.). This is what I have right now: Thanks in advance.

  • One page of responsive site is blurry/fuzzy on iphone

    Here's a weird one. I'm developing a responsive site here: http://74.209.178.54:3000/index.html There are three pages built so far: the home page, the "Why" page, and the "Pricing" page. The Home and Why pages are just fine on my iPhone 4. The "Pricing" page is really blurry. And I don't just mean the images are blurry - absolutely everything is blurry: text, borders, backgrounds... Has anyone seen this before? Do you know what's happening?

  • Horizontal and vertical center text inside div

    I have a div with a background image that needs to be centered horizontally and vertically. On top of that image, I also want to display some text, also centered horizontally and vertically. I managed to get the image centered, but the text is not centered vertically. I thought vertical-align:middle would do the trick. Here's the code I have: <div style="background: url('background.png') no-repeat center; width:100%; height:100%; text-align:center;"> <div style="color:#ffffff; text-align: center; vertical-align:middle;" > Some text here. </div> </div> Any ideas?

    'This is bizarre bug. I have CSS3 anchors/buttons, which I've continued to strip properties out of, that sometimes require multiple clicks to fire. I've never seen anything like it. http://votizen.com Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. So it's very tough to pin down.     I have an embed window media player which is always on top of other DIV tags. I used wmode = opaque; WindowlessVideo = -1 but it does not help.     I've got two-column layout <div class="left-pane"> Left pane </div> <div class="central-pane"> <div> <ul class="customers-types-tabs"> <li>item 1</li> <li>item 2</li> <li>item 3</li> </ul> </div> <div>Main content</div> </div> and the stylesheet: .left-pane { width: 248px; float: left; background-color: #f6f6f6; border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; padding: 20px 5px; } .central-pane { margin-left: 270px; } .customers-types-tabs li { background-color: #f6f6f6; border: 1px solid #d5d5d5; line-height: 38px; padding: 0 20px; float: left; margin-right: 10px; position: relative; top: 1px; } The problem is that I want "Main content" to appear right below the div with ul inside it (that represents tabs control), but if I set Main content's div's style to clear: both, it appears below the left pane, which is taller than the ul. What should I do to get correct position of main content?

The last column on the right is: #right_column { float: left; width: 7em; border: 1px solid #ccc; padding: 5px; } My footer is going into the bottom of my right column. If I remove the right column the footer is still misplaced in the page. I presume it is something related to the float.

If in my view I do : {{ form_widget(myForm.test, { 'attr': { 'class': 'red', } }) }} Or if in my form I do : $builder->add('test', 'choice', array( 'required' => true, 'choices' => array('a', 'b', 'c', 'd', 'e'), 'attr' => array('class' => 'red'), )); The attribute is stored into the <select> tag and apply to the whole selectable values. How do I apply a class to an <option> in Symfony2 ?

  • SASS mixin for swapping images / floats on site language (change)

    Currently using SASS on a website build. It is my first project using it, tried a little LESS before and liked it. I made a few basic mixins and variables with LESS, super useful stuff! I am trying to get my head around SASS mixins, and syntax, specifically for swapping images when the page changes to a different language, be that with body ID changing or <html lang="en">. And, swapping floats around if, for example, a website changed to chinese. So a mixin where float left is float left unless language is AR and then it becomes float right. With LESS I think it would be something like: .headerBg() when (@lang = en) {background-image:url(../img/hello.png);} .headerBg() when (@lang = it) {background-image:url(../img/ciao.png);} .header {.headerBg(); width: 200px; height:100px} .floatleft() when (@lang = en) { float: left;} .floatleft() when (@lang = ar) { float: right;} .logo {.floatleft();} Its the syntax I am having problems with combined with a brain melting day.

  • How do I get rid of the space between <img> elements in a row in a html page?

My problem is that there are white spaces about 5px wide between the borders of neighbouring images and I have set the margin to be 0px but it does not work. So what is happening here?
