    Which is the best practice in this situation? I would like an un-initialized array of the same type and length as the original. public static <AnyType extends Comparable<? super AnyType>> void someFunction(AnyType[] someArray) { AnyType[] anotherArray = (AnyType[]) new Comparable[someArray.length]; ...or...     Assume that I have a class value object defined in php, where each variable in the class is defined. Something like: class UserVO { public $id; public $name; } I now have a function in another class, which is expecting an array ($data). function save_user($data) { //run code to save the user } How do I tell php that the $data parameter should be typed as a UserVO? I could then have code completion to do something like: $something = $data->id; //typed as UserVO.id $else = $data->name; //typed as UserVO.name I'm guessing something like the following, but this obviously doesnt work $my_var = $data as new userVO();

Meaning, I want to make a custom criterion. I'm seeing very, very little information online on this.   • Good way to create PDF from Office documents in Java

    I'm looking for a good way to convert Office (mostly Microsoft) documents to PDF in Java. I've been looking at using the OpenOffice SDK but from the samples I've looked at it looks like this requires having OpenOffice running in server mode to do the work. Does anyone know of a good way to do this? Good meaning the less external requirements, the better. A 100% Java API would be best, but I don't expect that actually exists.

Of course that will ruin my web appearance. I change new HTML with new ScrolPanel(new HTML) seems not working. so How can I Format my FlexTable? is there any option beside flextable or scrollpanel?

  • CSS to create curved corner between two elements?

    My UI has an unordered list on the left. When a list item is selected, a div appears on the right of it. I'd like to have a curved outer corner where the <li> and the <div> meet. See the white arrow in the image below. To extend the blue <li> to the edge of the <ul>, I'm planning to do something like this: li { right-margin: 2em; border-radius: 8px; } li.active { right-margin: 0; border-bottom-right-radius: 0; border-top-right-radius: 0; } Is there a better way to extend the <li> to the edge of the <ul>? Obviously, I'll include the webkit and mozilla border radius CSS as well. The main thing I'm unsure about is that outer corner underneath the bottom right corner of the active <li>. I have some ideas, but they seem like hacks. Any suggestions? NOTE that the <ul> is indicated in grey, but it would be white in the real design. Also, I'm planning to use Javascript to position the <div> correctly when an <li> is selected.

For example, on my form...there is a radio button that ask "Do you want to enter your age?" with an option to check YES or NO. If the user check YES, a textfield dynamically appear after this so the the user can enter his or her age. If user check NO, then nothing happen. How do I begin to do something like this?     Hello all, I am a newb to Android and Java and want to write a funtion that will display a list based on a varable that I pass to the function. The function is below and the code below creates an array out of a string called type, but what I want to do is pass it a variable string and have it build a list based on that string. So if I wanted the type list I would say list_it("type") But if I try something like getResources().getStringArray(R.array.thelist); it doesn't work.
