  • Wine settings to correct color palette?

    I have a Windows application (Kidspiration 3 Starter), that when running under wine 1.4 in Ubuntu 12.04 shows a completely distorted color palette that makes the interface unusable. See screenshot. What is usually the way to correct this? Is there a particular wine library that I should switch to native? Other details: wineHQ list Kidspiration 2.1 as "garbage", however version 3 installation and program works, except for the colors.

You should be able to combine Java/Groovy files, run them and thanks to the new Groovy JUnit tests support you can also run groovy tests together with your existing Java tests. I hope it will make your enterprise development (and especially enterprise testing) easier and more productive. If a non controlled error message show the internal path of the Joomla directory, because of, for example a failed include, can it be used to perform some kind of attack to the site?     I wish to be able to see and stream music to my Ubuntu 10.04 installation through Rhythmbox. I have enabled media streaming in Windows 7 and I can see Rhythmbox as an allowed device. I have installed the Coherence plugin for Rhythmbox. I can see my Windows 7 PC under the Shared folder in Rhythmbox, but I do not see any of my music. Is there a step along the way that I missed or something else that I have to enable?

  • WUBI restore using Windows system repair disc?

    Can I use a Windows 7 system restore disc and system image disc (of Windows drive C) to restore WUBI if my computer crashes? I use Deja Dup for backups, and have a CD of the WUBI .iso installation file? I don't want to run Ubuntu in a separate partition because I find it convenient to run Ubuntu as a WUBI because I can use Windows drivers etc. Thanks for any advice. I have looked for an answer, but can't find one that answers this particular question.
