  • Problem with running JavaME

    Hi guys, I'm getting angry - I cant run the emulator (under vista x64). I still get the following error: Starting emulator in execution mode * Error * Failed to connect to device 2! Reason: Emulator 2 terminated while waiting for it to register! BUILD FAILED (total time: 26 seconds) I was trying to change the port to 1999, localhost to ip address and such stuff. Do you have any ideas what to do? Thank you in advance! Cheers

On click, the button submits data to a php file and then changes text and blurs according to the response from php file. The blur function and change text function in col5 is working well. But the change text function in button got really buggy. The button text should change accordingly. the text of button "Activate" should change to "Inactivate" and the text of button "Inactivate" should change to "Activate" on click / successful submission.. This is not working..     Hi to all. Can anyone help me return the correct value from a bash script function? Here's my function that should return first (and only) line of the file passed as an argument: LOG_FILE_CREATION_TIME() { return_value=`awk 'NR==1' $1` return return_value } And here's my call of that function in the other script: LOG_FILE_CREATION_TIME "logfile" timestamp=$? echo "Timestamp = $timestamp" I always get some random values with this code. If, for example, there's a value of 62772031 in the "logfile", I get Timestamp = 255 as an output. For some other values in the file, I get other random values as a return value, never the correct one. Any ideas?

    I have a function to load a html part into a element in main index page kinda like this $(".ajax").click(function() { //load a page into a element }); This works But the HTML part which i have just loaded also have links that need to trigger same function above, but it does not. Until I save that function in a separate .js file and load in the main index file as well as all other files from where I need to trigger that function even though these internal files are going to loaded into the the first main file . Is there any way for a function in the index file to run from the html document that is loaded inside a element.

  • Problem with sendkeys in .NET

    I have a windows application, where I am using send keys to navigate from one window to another. My send key sequence is like activating another window with in my app, and sending key strokes to that window. But the key strokes I am sending is getting updated in the same window where I am activating the other window. But after few key strokes it is going to the other window. Seems like synchonization issue with send keys. Is there a way to specify the operation of the current send key is finished, before sending the next sendkey.

    I have a PSP page with html embedded. I need to place another for loop so i can insert another %s next to background-color: which will instert a appropriate colour to colour in the html table. For example i need to insert for z in colours so it can loop over the colours list and insert the correct colour. Where ever i try to insert the for loop it doesnt seem to work it most commonly colours each cell in the table 60 times then moves onto the next cell and repeats itself and crashes my web browser.     I am done testing my site and I want to upload it to a site like this http://www.university.edu/mydepartment/myname the admin told me the server runs on .NET 3.5. So i used Linq ... now i tried to upload the site by two ways: when i just copy everything (with modification of web.config database settings) i get an error: CS0246: The type or namespace name 'DataClassesDataContext' could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?) Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:2.0.50727.3082; ASP.NET Version:2.0.50727.3082 Note here it says version 2.0 did he just lie to me? or its my configuration mistake? anyway, i added the reference, nothing changes. I tried also publishing (Build, publish) with option to keep the pre-comiled site updatable, and I get one line saying: this is a makefile and should be deleted! what is going on?

    I have a table view in which I'm using sectionIndexTitlesForTableView to display an index. However, when I scroll the table, the index scrolls with it. This also results in very slow refreshing of the table. Is there something obvious I could be doing wrong? I want the index to remain in place on the right while the table scrolls. Is there any way to cape with this situation? I can construct another function that does the job I want to do and have both constructors call that function. But I wonder is there any solution?

    Ok, so I've got an SQLiteOpenHelper that prepares and returns a SQLiteDatabase object; this is written singleton-pattern, so the database is opened once and only closed when the Activity closes. From there I have three database wrappers encapsulating the queries (some returning cursors to datasets, some inserting data) used by the Activity. I want to insert data from one View, then have that automatically update in another View on the same Dialogue. I'm writing this on a notepad and testing on the phone (since the emulator crashes the notepad...), so I can't pull up stacktraces atm. So questions: 1) are there limitations to writing to a database, when there are cursors open on the database? 2) Does a Cursor.requery()? call update the ListView with the cursor as a data connector?
