• Unbind Events with JQuery: Does it work with events setup in HTML?

  Hello all, I have a few onclick and on mouseover events in my html generated by PHP, something like this: <div onmouseover="fave('heart_<?php echo $row['id']; ?>';" class="heart"><a href=""></a></div> I wish to make use of unbind on the mouseover but it hasn't worked when I tried this: $('#'+ id).unbind('mouseover'); So I am guessing unbind will only work with events created by JQuery? Is there something else I can try? Btw, I can't move my events to a separate js file as each id is unique and. Thanks all

• Wordpress parses wp_posts.post_content before rendering?

  I noticed that when I call the the_post() or the_content() function from my wordpress template, it automatically parses the database data to replace new lines with <br/>, wraps the text with <p> tags etc...There's probably some kind of "format" function within the_post() or the_content(). I wrote a query to directly get posts from the wp_posts. I then print it out like <?php $results = $wp->get_results($sql) foreach($results as $row) echo $row->post_content; ?> Clearly, this data is not parsed by wordpress' "format" function. What is the proper way to output this content such that it undergoes the same "formatting" functions as the_post() or the_content()?

  Hi, I have the following file structure: C:/wamp/myproject/admin/webroot/images I have an index.php file lying inside the admin folder which calls a header.inc.php file lying in the same folder. header.inc.php has the following code- <td align="left" valign="top" class="header-bg"> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0"> index.php calls a css file (css.css) through the following code: <link href="<?php echo (WS_DIR_CSS); ?>/css.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /> The css lies in the following location: C:/wamp/myproject/admin/webroot/css The css files has a class which has the following code: .header-bg { background:url(../images/header_bg.jpg) left top repeat-x; height:77px; } The image header_bg.jpg is not being displayed in the browser. • Making a PHP object behave like an array?

  I'd like to be able to write a PHP class that behaves like an array and uses normal array syntax for getting & setting. For example (where Foo is a PHP class of my making): $foo = new Foo(); $foo['fooKey'] = 'foo value'; echo $foo['fooKey']; I know that PHP has the _get and _set magic methods but those don't let you use array notation to access items. Python handles it by overloading __getitem__ and __setitem__. Is there a way to do this in PHP? If it makes a difference, I'm running PHP 5.2.

• Windows batch file: Pipe destroys my return code

  Hi, is it possible to return the errorlevel also if I pipe the output of a script into a logfile: test1.bat: call test2.bat 2>&1 | tee log.txt echo ERRORLEVEL: %ERRORLEVEL% test2.bat: exit /B 1 Output when calling test1.bat: ERRORLEVEL: 0 The errorlevel is always 0. The problem is, I want to call another script inside my script where the output should be redirected synchronously with the output shown in the command line, therefore a simple is not enough for me. I tried several ideas, but result is that the pipe always seems to destroy the given error-level... :( Can you give me any further suggestions? Thanks in advance... :)

I have successfully upload and download the docx file and it look prefect. But how if I would like to just display on screen in php or html format and highlight the keyword. The problem I got now is when I collect the docx file from mysql and echo on page it gave me all messy words and I've try a lot of methods still couldn't get the docx file print on screen.   I have been trying to find if a file_exist in the directory. If not i want to use a different image. But as i am using the file_exists function it always returns false. • Wrapping 3 objects or less inside a while / foreach in PHP

  Simple question. I have an array of 21 elements, and show every three of them inside a <div> block. The code is something like this: <?php $faces= array( 1 => 'happy', 2 => 'sad', (sic) 21 => 'angry' ); $i = 1; foreach ($faces as $face) { echo $face; $i++; } ?> The problem lies when this array doesn't have 21 elements, sometimes it gets 24, an other times 17. How I wrap every three of them, and wrap alone the rest? I came up with using switch and case, but that works only when there are 21 elements only. I think I could count them beforehand and put a closing in the last one (even if it is a group of one element).

• Inconsistent Session data from IE - cached sessions???

  I'm trying to prevent some basic click-fraud on my site, and am building links based on session time data. Everything works in FF, but in IE the information I'm storing in the session is somehow being changed. When I load up the main page, I set my session variables like this session_start(); $_SESSION['time']=$time(); I'm out putting the session value into the page, so I get something like 1275512393. When the user clicks on a link, I send an ajax request, and that page is returning the session which I am putting into an alert. session_start(); echo $_SESSION['time']; die(); The alert is returning 1275512422. Only in IE is the $_SESSION['time'] being returned different from the original $_SESSION['time'] It doesn't appear that this is a caching issue, as the times are always VERY near each other, and the second one is always after the first, but I'm not positive.

  Hello, i'm building a template engine for my next project, which is going great. It replaces {tag} with a corresponding value. But, i want {tag[0][key]} to be replaced as well. All i need to know is how to get the value, if i have the string representation of the array and key, like this: $arr = array( 0=>array( 'key'=>'value' ), 1=>array( 'key'=>'value2' ) ); $tag = 'arr[0][key]'; echo($$tag); This is a very simple version of the problem, i hope you understand it.   I use the $_GET function to pull a value with php from the url (http:..../index.html?variable=value), basic stuff. However, I need to use that value in my form. Typically, I would set <?php echo 'value="'.$variable.'"' ; ?> or something to that effect. However, I can't use php inside my form using the editor I'm working with. Can I set a value in the form without using PHP in my form? If so, how?

• PHP sleep accuracy

  Hello all, I use the following code to see how long a user is on a particular page. I use a hidden image with a src attribute to this script: $timer_seconds = 1; while(!connection_aborted()) { echo "\n"; flush(); sleep(1); $timer_seconds++; } I sometimes find this can be off by 5-10 seconds! I am guessing its the load of the server that effects the timing?? Is there anyway I can make this accurate? Thanks all for any help.
