• Looking for Info on a Javascript Testing framework

  Hi Can somebody fill me in on JavaScript Testing Frameworks? I'm working on a project now and as the JS (Mostly jQuery) libraries grow, it's getting more and more difficult to introduce change or refactor, because I have no way of guaranteeing the accuracy of the code without manually testing everything. I don't really know anything about JavaScript Testing Frameworks, or how they integrate/operate in a .Net project, so I thought I'd ask here. What would a good testing framework be for .Net? What does a JavaScript test look like? (e.g. with NUnit, I have [TestFixture] classes & [Test] methods in a ProjectTests assembly) How do I run a javascript test? What are the conceptual differences between testing JS & testing C#? Is there anything else that would be worth knowing? Thanks Dave

• Drupal 6 devel module dd() function not writing to drupal_debug.txt file

  I am running a local development Drupal site on a Windows machine. I am trying to use the dd($data, $label = NULL) function from the devel module to help debug. Using this function, should write debug info to a drupal_debug.txt file in the /tmp folder on the machine where the Drupal site is hosted. On my Windows machine, although I am using this function, the drupal_debug.txt file is not getting created anywhere, leading me to believe I am using the function incorrectly. Here is a snippet of how I am using it, <?php $test = "this is my test"; dd($test, $label = NULL); I am looking for an example of the correct syntax for the dd($data, $label = NULL) function. • How do I simplify these NUNit tests?

  These three tests are identical, except that they use a different static function to create a StartInfo instance. I have this pattern coming up all trough my testcode, and would love to be be able to simplify this using [TestCase], or any other way that reduces boilerplate code. To the best of my knowledge I'm not allowed to use a delegate as a [TestCase] argument, and I'm hoping people here have creative ideas on how to make the code below more terse. I have 330 rows with column A containing the 'name' and in Column B I have the name of a test that was done for each 'name', which each 'name' could have taken several iterations of the same test. The test results are in Column C.   Hi, I have an ant build file that contains JUnit test suite that I would like to execute. Currently I just right click and run the build file from Eclipse. I want to write a java code that can execute the ant build file automatically. So I just run the code and ant will be executed. Second is I want to capture the test result. Currently the result is based on JUnit HTML report. I want to make my own simple test report. I read there is JUnitResultFormatter but I can't find the instructional step by step how to use it. I found out the first works for me but i don't know how to put it in an if/else statement. However, once inside the subdomain, it tries to redirect again. For example, if you went to https://admin.example.com/test, it would actually be accessing https://example.com/clients/admin/test.php. • Checking for 2 exepcted values in Junit

  Hi, I have a java program which throws an exception with 2 different messages for 2 different scenarios and I want the Junit test case to check for equality for both of these messages. As an example - public void amethod() { // do some processing if(scenario1 == true) { throw new MySystemException("An error occured due to case 1 being incorrect."); } else if(scenario2 == true) { throw new MySystemException("An error occured as case 2 could not be found"); } } Now the JUnit for this would be something like- public void testAMethod() { // do something assertEquals("Expected", "Actual"); } As I understand, in this above example, if I use the Scenario1 exception message the junit will fail when an exception is thrown for Scenario2 and vice versa. I would like to know if there is any other way provided in Junit by which I can use this one test method and check for both the messages for the test to pass? Something like an OR, if possible to provide the "Expected" value with both these expected message. I hope my query is clear enough. Thanks

• Exit Try/Catch to prevent code after from being run

  I've got for example a try/catch in my method: } catch (OurCustomExceptionObject1 ex) { txtErrorMessage.InnerHtml = "test 1"; } catch(OurCustomExceptionObject2 ex) { txtErrorMessage.InnerHtml = "test 2"; } catch (OurCustomExceptionObject3 ex) { txtErrorMessage.InnerHtml = "test 3"; } ... rest of code here is being executed after the try/catch I do not want the rest of code to run if any of the exceptions are caught. I'm handling the exceptions. I heard do not use Exit Try for some reason. Is that true, it's bad to do this? Is this the right way to halt execution of code thereafter the catch statement?

It runs only once and then app exit automatically. If i comment out all the code and just write NSLog(@"test"); then application works ok, it logs "test" after each 1 sec.

  I have a strange problem that probably have a really simple explanation that i've just havn't found. I'm making a WordPress plugin and i want to use jQuery in my settings-page for the plugin. The front end function is being used on pages and that's working fine to. the problem is the admin function, it's not working at all. is there a speial way i have to write a .click()-function to get it to work on my settings-page for the wordpress plugin?

• Using methods on 2 input files - 2nd is printing multiple times - Java

  I have the following code to read in text, store in a hashmap as bigrams (with other methods to sort them by frequency and do v. v. basic additive smoothing. I had it working great for one language input file (english) and then I want to expand it for the second language input file (japanese - doens;t matter what it is I suppose) using the same methods but the Japanese bigram hashmap is printing out 3 times in a row with diff. values. I've tried using diff text in the input file, making sure there are no gaps in text etc. I've also put print statements at certain places in the Japanese part of the code to see if I can get any clues but all the print statements are printing each time so I can't work out if it is looping at a certain place.
