  • VB6 - View Code will not display code

    Hi all, This is probably a really dumb question but i'll ask anyway. I was wondering if there was any reason as to why a form wouldn't display its code when i click "view code" from the right click context menu in vb6? It was working awhile ago so i'm kind of stumped. Thanks

  • Why is FF on OS X loosing jQuery-UI in click event handler?

    In a web page using jQUery 1.7.1 and jQUery-UI 1.8.18, if I output $.ui in an alert box when the document is ready, I get [object Object]. However when using Firefox, if I output $.ui in a click event handler, I get 'undefined' as result. With other browsers (latest versions of IE, Chrome and Safari), the result is still [object Object] when clicking on the link. Here is my HTML Page: <!doctype html> <html> <head> <title></title> <script src="Scripts/jquery-1.7.1.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script src="Scripts/jquery-ui-1.8.18.js" type="text/javascript"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function () { alert($.ui); // ALERT A $(document).on("click", ".dialogLink", function () { alert($.ui); // ALERT B return false; }); }); </script> </head> <body> <a href="#" class="dialogLink">Click me!</a> </body> </html> In this post, I reduced to its simplest form another problem I was having described here: $(this).dialog is not a function. I created a new post for the sake of clarity, since the real question is different from the original one now that pin-pointed where the problem resided. UPDATE: IF I replace my alerts with simply alert($); I get this result for alert A: function (selector, context) { return new jQuery.fn.init(selector, context, rootjQuery); } and this one for alert B: function (a, b) { return new d.fn.init(a, b, g); } This does not make sense to me, although I may not be understanding well enough what $ is... UPDATE 2: I can only reproduce this problem using Firefox on OS X. On Firefox running on Windows 7, everything is fine.

  • Maximize application in system tray?

    I wrote a little WPF app that when 'closed' minimizes to the system tray (customer requirement). Double clicking pops it back up, or right click gives a context menu to exit. But if the app is minimized, and the users navigate to Start-All Programs-The Application it starts a new instance. What (in C#) do I need to do to get the app to maximize the running instance if the user does this rather than fire up a new instance? Thanks!

    Is there an easy way to detect if you're running in the context of a Visual Studio Test as opposed to debug or release? Here's the scenario - we have a factory class that we use heavily throughout our existing codebase, and I figured instead of refactoring it out in each class so we can substitute the default factory with one that would return mock/fake objects, I could add something in the factory class itself to return those mock objects if it detects it's running in "test" mode.

  • Ria Services - Delay load images (or any heavy binary data)

    I have an RIA Service that returns image data (Byte[]) and caption of image (String) from SQL Server. The data part can sometimes be a few MB's so it can take quite a while to load. I would like to load the bytes independently of the caption (which loads very fast). Is there a way to do this without having to create a second image context?

  • Selenium 2.0 / WebDriver clickAt() method unsupported

    Selenium clickAt() function is throwing "Unsupported" exception while using with WebDriver (WebDriverBackedSelenium or just Selenium 2.x using ChromeDriver). Is there any way to use this Selenium function via WebDriver? Adding some code for context ... ChromeDriver driver = new ChromeDriver(); driver.findElement(By.id("someID")).clickAt("25, 25"); .clickAt() method isn't even recognized ... however, using the WebDriverBackedSelenium is what provides the Unhandled exception.

  • ASP.NET MVC 2 Preview 2 Route Request Not Working

    Here's the error: The incoming request does not match any route. Basically I upgraded from Preview 1 to Preview 2 and got rid of a load of redundant stuff in relation to areas (as described by Phil Haack). It didn't work so I created a brand new project to check out how its dealt with in Preview 2. The file Default.aspx no longer exists which contains the following: public void Page_Load(object sender, System.EventArgs e) { // Change the current path so that the Routing handler can correctly interpret // the request, then restore the original path so that the OutputCache module // can correctly process the response (if caching is enabled). string originalPath = Request.Path; HttpContext.Current.RewritePath(Request.ApplicationPath, false); IHttpHandler httpHandler = new MvcHttpHandler(); httpHandler.ProcessRequest(HttpContext.Current); HttpContext.Current.RewritePath(originalPath, false); } The error I received points to the line httpHandler.ProcessRequest(HttpContext.Current); yet in newer projects none of this even exists. To test it, I quickly deleted Default.aspx but then absolutely nothing worked, I didn't even receive any errors.     In the setup of my test cases, I have this code: ApplicationContext context = new ClassPathXmlApplicationContext( "spring/common.xml" ); StaticListableBeanFactory testBeanFactory = new StaticListableBeanFactory(); How do I connect the two in such a way that tests can register beans in the testBeanFactory during setup and the rest of the application uses them instead of the ones defined in common.xml? Note: I need to mix a static (common.xml) and a dynamic configuration. I can't use XML for the latter because that would mean to write 1000 XML files.
