    I'm currently creating an experimental programming language for fun and educational purpose and in search for some tasks beyond the classical "Hello, World!"-program. I've already come up with these ideas: Print out the program's input Calculator Generate Prime numbers, Fibonacci series What other interesting programming problems do you have for me to test? It would be good if they required the language to solve a broad spectrum of task, take prime numbers for example: You need variables, increment them, divide them, perform actions under certain conditions, etc.

    On the remote production branch, I don't do any changes, so I don't need any branches. I always want it mirrored to the origin production git checkout origin production works. But, I can't seem to pull after that. Is creating a local branch that tracks the origin production by git checkout -b production --track origin production the only option, or, I'm wondering, if there is any other way.

  • Any samples of MVC2 + Silverlight 4? Visual Studio 2010 does not organize the files correctly.

    I create a SL4 Application and then I say I want to create a MVC site in addition. But instead of create a VIEW and putting showing the SL4 object there and creating a empty MVC type Default page... it just creates a SilverlightApplicationTestPage.aspx in the root! Does anyone know any small sample code anywhere that shows how to set up various .xap files within a MVC app. It should be simple. (I want to put the MVC2 app into Azure once I get this working)

I want index.php to be the default script to load and if index.php is not present then index.html can load. It is a shared hosting so we do not have access to the httpd.conf file So i thought of creating .htaccess file which would do the above condition.     Im creating a download speed test, and im downloading a 800megabit file to a Byte[] in a memory stream with webClient.DownloadDataAsync(new Uri(link), memStreamArray); How can i check how many bits are in the memStreamArray while downloading? I need this so i can do a calculation on size / time to get the speed in realtime. Im planing on performing this calculation in the webClient.DownloadProgressChanged event.

  • Entity Framework 4 omits some associations during model generation

    After creating an EF4 model from a SQL Server database I noticed that all the relationships of my Users table were not imported into the model as associations. All the other relationships were imported fine. My Users table has a PK userId which is a char(7) field and it is integrated into several other tables in the database as an FK but for some reason EF4 does not import these relationships as associations during the model generation process... Does anyone have any ideas why this would be happening?

  • Strange phantom header margin bug html/css

    So I'm creating this website and there is a strange untraceable bug that causes the header to move down 10 or so pixels. On a refresh the header could be correct or it could be broken.
