how to disable the lightbox to close after submit button?

Hey all
Here is an example upload on my server just in-case you want to understand what i am talking about

as you can see when you click on the image it inlarge the thumb image, so when you click on the image below it which is add it then closes the images and refreshes the page, how to disable that
