I have list them in the listView as the article says, but with some images I have a problem with the size and they are anormally big...I have tried unsuccesfully to fix the size of the image with: <ImageView android:id="@+id/photoUser" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:maxWidth="10dp" android:maxHeight="10dp" android:paddingRight="12dp"/>

  • Getting data from ListView control

    I need to retrieve my data from a ListView control set up in Details mode with 5 columns. I tried using this code: MessageBox.Show(ManageList.SelectedItems(0).Text) And it works, but only for the first selected item (item 0). If I try this: MessageBox.Show(ManageList.SelectedItems(2).Text) I get this error: InvalidArgument=Value of '2' is not valid for 'index'. Parameter name: index I have no clue how I can fix this, any help? Edit: Sorry, should have said, I'm using Windows.Forms :)

    I have a User Control for searching container numbers. If the user enters a container number that's new to the system then I want to tell the VM "I have a new record to add". The MVVM method avoids using Events to communicate with the VM as they create code-behind. Should I create a Dependency Property to trigger the VM but I don't think I've seen other controls with a "NewRecord" property? Any thoughts?

Everything works well, except that I want to rotate the arrow image in my ImageView.     I have a user control called adminMenu and I use it in my index.aspx and all is fine, but I need to access a MenuItem in adminMenu and need to change NavigateUrl on the MenuItem. Tried this code with no luck: MenuItem MaintenanceReports = this.adminMenu.FindItem("MaintenanceReports"); Not sure if I should be accessing adminMenu properties from controls code behind, but when I try from controls code behind was not able to access it either, any ideas would be appreciated.

    I'm creating a custom ActionResult class and I need it to be able to operate on a UserControl. All of the examples I've found so far pass in the full path like so: return MyResult("~/ControllerName/UserControlName.ascx", myModel); But I'd like it to operate the same way as calling View(), i.e. I just pass in the name and MVC determines the correct route: return MyResult("UserControlName", myModel); Is there a way I can find out the correct route to the control without specifying it manually?

The class was merely about computer organization, and so unfortunately, we never had a chance to cover all the capabilities of the chip itself. Now that the class is over, I have been thinking about using the to familiarize myself with the assembly language.
