  • supress warning for generated c# code

    I have turned on "Treat warnings as errors" for my VS project which mean that I get errors for missing documentation (nice reminder for this particular project). However, part of the code is generated by a custom tool which does not insert xml documentation so I'm looking for away to ignore the missing xml documentation for the generated code only, not for the entire project. I have no influence on the actual file generated and cannot really insert anything in the file (as it is regenerated frequently by the tool) so I looking for something existing outside the generated file (the classes that are generated are partial, if that helps)

    I have a List like "test", "bla", "something", "else" But when I use the Aggrate on it and in the mean time call a function it seems to me that after 2 'iterations' the result of the first gets passed in? I am using it like : myList.Aggregate((current, next) => someMethod(current) + ", "+ someMethod(next)); and while I put a breakpoint in the someMethod function where some transformation on the information in the myList occurs, I notice that after the 3rd call I get a result from a former transformation as input paramter.

    Is there any way to enable debugging from within the Windows Forms Designer in Visual Studio (any version, up to and including 2010)? What I mean is, say I have some custom user control, and this control has certain validation that it performs when I set a particular property. I'd like to be able to set a breakpoint somewhere within that code, and step through it to see what happens when I set the property from the designer.

Id like to know how can I receive a request with nginx (or any other static file server), and send it to different web servers depending on IP's location. I mean, what is the point on having multiple db machines on country A and B, if the server that serves you the page is chosen by round robin. Maybe theres another solution to my problem, and I would be very happy if someone can explain it to me.

    I have a Magento installation running on x-large Amazon server. I have Varnish, memcached and eAccelerator installed on the server. At first everything was working fine, but then at some point it stopped working, throwing 503 error with Varnish cache stamp below it. When I disable eaccelerator, error is gone and site is working. Since we develop on ASP.NET, we are IIS and in general - Microsoft crowd. Since TMG is being deprecated, we need to come up with a hardware alternative to protect and serve our data center web cloud. Could you please advise a hardware or virtual appliance solution that can provide routing, flood prevention and smart web-site publishing (one IP - many web sites based on domain name filter) all in one. Even if it is hard to configure, as long as it covers all these features, we will invest to learn and replace TMG eventually.

  • How do I log which process is deleting a file on Windows XP?

    I'm having an issue with a file getting deleted seemingly randomly throughout the day. The vendor of the software whose file is getting deleete says that another piece of software installed on the computer is deleting it, while the other software's vendor says the opposite. I've tried using Process Monitor so I can pinpoint exactly what's deleting it, but even when filtered specifically to that file, createfile operations are being triggered a few times a second, and I can't seem to filter it to deletions specifically. Is there a tool or script I can use to specifically monitor deletion attempts on a single file?

    I need to implement "Drag and Drop" operations for the ToolStripMenuItems. Everything works fine only with ToolStripMenuItems on the first level. I mean I can't move menu item from a submenu to other one. But I can move submenu to top-level menu. I noticed that DragEnter event isn't arise for submenus. Initialization is the same for all menu-items. What is wrong? :(
